-=I. Breif description of the walkthrough=-

This character walkthrough helps you know what lies ahead against
Shadi.  This walkthrough shouldn't really be that long because it's
specifically just for Shadi and his deck.  I was also bored too lol.
Don't expect it to be that long in case if you're wondering.
*I'm suprised no one did a Shadi and his deck indepth walkthrough yet.

The real reason why I wrote this walkthrough was because Shadi's deck
is sometimes unpredictable. You'll have trouble beating this annoying
duelist(maybe). When you're winning, sometimes he'll pull a fast one
you.  I found ways to beat his deck without trouble(Sometimes, oh and
if you're wondering, I'm not trying to say Shadi is IMPOSSIBLE to
beat.)  He could be very easy or hard the way you play the game.  I
don't know since it's just my opinion.

BTW, it wouldn't be a suprised to me if you're annoyed of me when I
keep saying "E-Mail Me at....."

---------------------------------------------------------------------

                 -=II. Shadi's Background=-

Who is Shadi?  Well....Shadi is a contender in the Battle City
Tournament in Domino City.  Why did he compete in the contest?
No one knows(In WWE of course).  The real reason why he is in the
battle city tournament is because....well watch the anime if you
want to know.  He'll appear on target week.  He also appears in the
challenge cup and kaiba cup tournaments.

Shadi's background music and battling music has a catchy tune.
It'll be stuck to you're head most of the time.  Again, this is my
opinion.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

-=III. Where do you find Shadi?=-

Shadi is found by beating Marrik and his Rare Card Hunters at the
Pyramid.  After you beat Marrik and his Ghouls, he should appear in
a tv-static like boxes.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

-=IV. Shadi's deck - Does he have more than one deck?=-

After a decent amount of battling Shadi(53 times as of 8-30-03),
Shadi's deck can be another characters deck in Worldwide Edition.
I battled him many times and it seems his deck is the exact copy or
somewhat copy of Yugi, Ishizu Ishtar, Seto Kaiba, and a
little of Marrik Ishtar, Odion, and Bakura.  I'm guessing he does have
more than one deck.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

-=V. Tips on how to beat Shadi=-

(IF YOU WANT TO SEND IN A TIP OR TWO, E-MAIL ME AT
[email protected] AND REMEMBER TO CHECK YOU'RE SPELLING AND
GRAMMAR.  YOU WILL ALSO GET CREDIT ^_^)

-=MY TIPS ON HOW TO BEAT SHADI=-

Shadi uses a bunch of cards that you do not expect.  He uses different
kinds of deck as stated above in another section.  What makes Shadi
difficult or easy(Depending what you think it is) is that he can snatch
victory right before you can snatch it for yourself.  What I used in
my deck(Beatdown Deck) is the Harpie's Feather Duster card.  In fact,
you should always use this card in every card duel(Besides Mokuba
Kaiba).  The Harpie's Feather Duster card is very handy against Shadi.
Most of the time, Shadi will set one or more trap cards on the field.
Every duel that I dueled against him, he places a magic cylinder or
mirror force on the field face down.  So don't be suprised if he lays
it on the field.  When you summon a high level monster
or a high level attack such as summoned skull, barrel dragon, or other
monsters, he will use Raigeki or dark hole most of the time.

Another thing you should worry about is his Man Eater Bug(Well not
really).  He'll set one down now and then.  A couple of Nobleman of
Crossout should destroy the evil bug(It also destroys your Man Eaters
in your deck if you're).  He'll also lay down a few Magician wondering
of Faith.  Getting rid of them isn't that hard.  Oh, you should also
place light of intervention in your deck if you want.  This way, Shadi
won't set flip effect cards face down. If you set a monster on the
field, it'll automatically be face up in defense mode.  Kinda nifty eh?
That means no more flip effects such as Cyber Jar, Morphing Jar 2,
Magician of Faith, Man Eater Bugs, and more.

If you see Shadi special summoning blue eyes ultimate dragon
(Cyber-Stein Effect), take precaution.  I think who wins the rock,
paper, scissors bet matters. He might summon blue eyes ultimate dragon
on his first turn after yours.  I don't know if it's true, but I'm
going to test it out.  What I used to defeat his blue eyes ultimate
dragon is using the mirror force or magic cylinder cards. What I like
to use is the magic cylinder.  That way, he loses 5000 LP(Thanks to
Cyber-Stein's effect) and he loses 4500 LP from your magic cylinder.
Heh an easy way to win a match.  Other traps and magic work too.
Obviously you can raigeki/dark hole it.  Oh BTW, I also seen him summon
blue eyes white dragon too, but I think you know what to do.

I have seen Shadi use a similar copy of Ishizu's deck too.  It's not
that hard either.  He might use luminious spark too.  It's nothing
that hard because luminous spark may raise his
monsters attack points, but it also lowers his monsters defense points.
A few Kunai with chain can kill his monsters with high defense because
it lowers its defense points due to luminous sparks effect.  My
last tip is to use an exodia/destiny board cards.  There are so many
ways to beat Shadi that I can't explain right now.

                   -=ESTEBAN MERCEDES'S BATTLE TIP=-

I've got a good deck to beat Shadi, but it requires a lot of cards with
the same name. And with that deck, it's hard to lose to everybody, here
are the following cards:

The Shallow Grave x3

The Dark Door x3

Trap Hole x1

Solemns Wishes x1

Gravity Bind x1

Pot Of Greed x1

Change Of Heart x1

Cyber Jar x3

Sword Of Revealing Light x1

Big Shield Gardna x1

Man-Eater Bug x3

Penguin Soldier x3

Magic Thorn x3

Muka Muka x3

Note1: The main goal of this deck is to empty the opponent deck. The
second goal is to put you're opponent life point to 0 by using the
following cards: Princess Tsuguri, Magic Thorn + Infinite Cards + Card
Destruction or Morphing Jar

Note2: You can remove those card if you don't want them: Solemn Wishes,
Pot of Greed and Big Shield Gardna

                   -=Jin Hippy's Tips=-

There is one card which I used in every battle to counter the flip
effects of the cards.  The card is a trap card called royal command.
This card only negates the effect but monsters can still be set
faced-down. This trap card is continuous and affects your monsters too.

-=About Me=-

Well, I don't personally like to talk about my personal life.  I'll
tell you about some things.  For one, I'm about to 15 soon.  I spend
most of my time outside and practicing basketball for at least one
hour.  I like hanging out with my friends.  I like eating(No, I'm not
obese) and watching TV.  That's probably about it.

I'm thinking when Yu-Gi-Oh The Sacred Cards comes out, I'll write
another mini walkthrough.  I don't know what I'm going to write
about, but I'm thinking.

-=Websites=-

Here are two websites I should give out.

Here are my shout outs to people who have helped me throughout the
character guide walkthrough of Yu-Gi-Oh! Worldwide Edition: Shadi

-=Solomaxwell aka Mr. Hughes=-

Thanks for letting me use your in-depth walkthrough guide as a
reference.  Without your help, I wouldn't be able to finish this
project at all.  Oh and thank you for finding some mistakes on my
character guide walkthrough.  I hope we meet again someday.

-=Gamefaqs.com=-

Thanks gamefaqs for allowing my character guide walkthrough on your
website.  I hope I can contribute more.

-=Konami=-

Without Konami, there is no Yu-Gi-Oh!  Without Konami, I wouldn't be
able to write this walkthrough.

-=My Family=-

Well.......nothing much to say about them except sometimes they could
be very annoying such as my father lol.  They gave me the time to
write this walkthrough instead of pestering me.  Thanks.
