The Earth had been through many events over the past couple of decades.
During the Space year 109, The Zentradi war happened giving humanity first
contact with an alien race. It ended with peace between the two races thanks
to Lynn Minmei's song and the SDF Skull Squadron pilot Ichijo Hikaru that
lead a part of the Zentadi to make peace. These Zentradi would later help
rebuild the Earth but Earth was still devastated by the War. Many people went
out into Space Colonies afterward and plans were made for Voyage Ship
carrying a city of people to new planets to colonize.
At Space Year 123 The Invaders first appeared on the moon and the Getter
Robo were created to fight them by Professor Saotome. The Invaders were
apparently wiped out.
At Space Year 129 The colonies which were devastated by the Zentradi war and
the Invader and was not cared for by the Federation began a revolt against
Earth Government lead by the Zeons in what became known as the One Year War,
in which the Federation won partly in thanks to Amuro Rei and the RX-78
Gundam.
During Space Year 130, Dr. Saotome soon seemingly died by the hands of
someone close to him shortly after his daughter Michelle died in a Getter
Robo G Combination practice
During Space Year 133, Professor Saotome turned up alive but insane and try
to used a legion of mass produced Getter Robo G to create the last days of
Earth. The reZult left the Earth permeated with Getter Radiation that would
take years to settle.
Other wars soon engulfed the Earth such as the Grips War against the Titans
and more during Space Year 137,138. During Space Year 145. OZ, a force much
like the Titans staged a successful Coup' and assumed power in the
Federation. Meanwhile, a New Neo Zeon under the leadership of Char Aznable
prepared to send Axis hurtling towards Earth.
Now begins Super Robot Wars Destiny…
Prologue… Space Year 133,13 Years ago from the Present
Musashi and Benkei, the last remnant of the Getter Team are transporting a
mysterious container of utmost importance, they are lamenting over what
happened to the Getter Team, somehow, an Invader, which are presumed wiped
out attacked the truck but Musashi used Getter 3 to stop it before a newcomer
savagely beat it and takes the container. Musashi is stunned to see a Getter
he doesn't know and he sees a cackling Saotome, back from the dead, now
insane.
At the abandoned Saotome Institute, a horde of AI controlled Getter Robo G
popped up and Getter Radiation level is rising sharply, Benkei woke up to
hear a soldier tells him this. A Valkyrie troops had already been wiped out.
To combat this, The Federation prepares a Getter Robo and send in the one man
who once "killed" Saotome, an A class Prisoner and Former Getter Team Leader,
Nagare Ryouma.
Saotme is ranting about making it Earth's last day when Ryouma pops out.
Ryouma doesn't care how the old geezer managed to come back but THIS time
he'll really kill him. Ryouma says that what Saotome did with the Getter
Energy is not right, they didn't get along well afterward but Saotome says
that Ryouma said the same thing when Michelle died but Ryouma said that her
death was an accident and Saotome got angry that Ryouma dare called it an
accident and ordered the attack.
The supposedly stronger Getter Dragon attacked Ryouma but he easily showed
why he was the Getter Team Leader by stopping it easily. Ryouma attacked
Saotome but was stopped by an energy field. Saotome laughed and Ryouma tells
him to shut up, because of what happened, he doesn't really have any friends
anymore, So he plans on killing those who made him this way, Saotome and
Hayato.
Suddenly the Getter G splitted up into their components and joined together
to formed a large being called Shin Dragon, the being who will bring about
the Last days of Earth and out comes Gou running and shouting " Change Getter
Shin Dragon" and Saotome says he will protect Gou and not let mistakes
happened a second time.
And more Getter G in all three forms, Dragon, Lyger and Poseidon appeared but
so do Getter 2 and Getter 3. Musashi in the Getter 3 tells Saotome to stop
because if he goes any further, there's no turning back.
Ryouma note that Musashi is in the Getter 3, which means that the person in
Getter 2 has to be Hayato. Hayato says that he think he is sorry, sorry for
letting the Professor get to him and Saotome says that any apology is TOO
late and Hayato says that he will end it with his own hands when out pops the
Invaders. Hayato tells Ryouma they'll talk later and Musashi tries to get
Ryouma to help but Ryouma's only interested in paying back the two who send
him to Hell. But anyhow, they took care of the enemies first before heading
into the Institute. Ryouma tells Musashi to guard the Getters since he is
injured, while Ryouma go after Hayato and Saotome.
As he finds the both of them, Saotome introduce his last creation, the Shin
Getter Robo. Hayato and Saotome begins talking and Hayato explain to Ryouma
that the other two container of which the third emerged Gou was containing
cell samples from both of them… Then Shin Dragon moved sensing an enemy when
Benkei contacted them..
Benkei tells them that the Fed have launched a Nuclear Missile at the
Institute and tells everybody to run and Saotome said that the blast will
turn Shin Dragon into flames..
Hayato plans to stop it using Shin Getter along with Ryouma and Gou, he gives
Ryouma his pistol if Ryouma wants to kill him but only after they stopped the
missile.
And Shin Getter blast off into space where Gouvin and Stenger are waiting on
the missile. Shin Getter use its Scythe to attack the missile but Gouwin
stopped it, they are Invaders and they let the missile past the point of no
return and leave. Hayato tells Ryouma to use Shin Getter 2 and it tries to
reach the missile, but it was too late.
Present Day Space Year 146
Josh and Rim are at the South Pole after being summoned by Cliff, their
scientist friend. Rim wonders if it's about their father but Josh says that
it probably isn't, and his Father doesn't care about them. He doesn't like
being away from the League Militaire what with OZ's condition and the
Zanscare setting up bases on Earth. (Josh had been a member for a while it
seemed and had helped out in many battles)
