1.0  Version History
------------------------------------------

Version 1.0:  Umm...I just began, my main focus for now is the Item
Manual.  I just have something done as far as the Item
Manual goes, enough to at least see the names of most
             of the stuff.

------------------------------------------
2.0 Legal Stuff
------------------------------------------

 -  This document is owned by Buddhu23.
 -  Only GameFAQs is allowed to host this guide.
 -  If you really want to put it on your site, you'll have to ask me at
    [email protected]
 -  There isn't too much else to say because I'm sure most of you have
been bludgeoned half to death reading these things (or skipping
them).  Nevertheless, most people already know in full what the
legal stuff boils down to, but just in case you forgot, here's
a little reminder: CREDIT CREDIT CREDIT.  Just give credit where
it's due...and remember, stealing someone else's work is always bad
and most people (myslef included) will not tolerate it.

3.0  Introduction
------------------------------------------

Okay.  I noticed a lot of people on GameFAQs (myself included) had a
lot of trouble finding all of the items in the Item Manual.  I decided to
help those people...of course I got a ton of help myslef!  Umm...this guide
may not be perfect (it's the second one I've written) but I hope it serves
its purpose well.  Okay, let's begin!

------------------------------------------
4.0  Extra Contents
------------------------------------------

---------------------
  4.1  CG Collection
---------------------

There are forty (40) pictures in the CG Collection.  Most of them
(except for the ending ones) can be obtained in one playthrough.  I don't
feel the need to list each picture, but I would like to point out how to
get a few.

  -  To get pictures 1-6, you need to turn on the game and watch the
     opening sequence.
  -  Pictures 7-12 will be gotten as the game progresses.
  -  Picture number 13 takes a bit of work.  In order to get it, you must
NOT input the button sequence in Chapter 3.  I don't recall the exact
area, but it doesn't matter because you must examine the floor before
progressing.  All the characters will be standing in one spot and the
     floor will break.
  -  For number 17, you must have saved the Undine in CHapter 4.  Later, in
MOVE mode, there will be a choice of "High Ground" and "Low Ground."
Head to the low ground.  There, you will meet an Undine named Aria.  She
will thank you for saving her sister and will give you a bow in return.
  -  For 20, you have to move the black boulder in Chapter 5.  If you go down
there, you'll have to see this one.
  -  Pictures 21-28 you will have to see as they are revealed during the
     course of the story.
  -  Two aside, the remaining pictures are dependent on which ending you get,
decided by which girl likes Ein the near the end of the game.  29-33 are
all pictures of the characters (those who were not sacrificed) running.
  -  Number 34 is one that you will have to see at the end of the game.
  -  Pictures 35-39 are once again, dependent on the ending you get.
  -  Picture 40 is the final picture, you have to see it once you beat the
     game.

  4.2  Item Manual
-------------------

Okay, the main part of the guide.  For now, I'll just list the items.
I plan to add all of the stats in a later update.

KEY:
Item:  Well, this the item name...self-explanatory, right?
XX:  This is just an item I haven't obtained yet/don't know what it
             is.
If someone could help me find it or maybe tell me where it is,
that'd be greatly appreciated.  See "Closing" for more info on
             helping/contacting.

  4.4  High Score
------------------

There's not too much to say here.  You can see your top five
scores for each chapter.  It will also show you your best score for
that chapter before you select it.  The High Score extra will, in
addition, show you the grades for each chapter and your best friend
in that chapter.  Here's an example of how it looks:

  4.5  Face Collection
-----------------------

There are 137 portraits in the Face Collection, all of which
can be gotten in one playthrough.  I'm not gonna go into too much
detail here (I don't plan on listing the expressions) because most
of the faces you'll have to see as the story unfurls, a couple you'll
need to see extra scenes for, and two, in  particular, you need to
get a special ending for.  That ending is  Rose's "true" ending.
I have yet to get it myself, but those are the two pictures after
Rose's cat ones, for those who were curious.

------------------------
  4.6  Voice Collection
------------------------

Here, you can listen to things characters will say during the
course of the game.  I'll take the time to list each voice and how
to get it.  Unfortunately, I don't quite have all of the voices myself,
but that can be daelt with later.  For now, I'll just list the ones
I do have.  (OS means overskill lv3, ExL means Execution lv. overskill)

  4.7  Bonus Chapter
---------------------

The Bonus Chapter is a rather dissapointing battle against a boss
that only attacks once for every three times your characters attack (not
entirely accurate, but pretty close).  I'll list what items you get to
use in the battle, as well as strategies for defeating him easily (not that
you'd have any problem yourself; he's a huge pushover :P)

 ITEMS:

Einherjar       x inf.          Letye Claw      x 30
Gran Sabre      x 30            Book of Kirie   x 30
Rosier          x 30            Power Wrist     x 30
Diana's Bow     x 30            Mage Ring       x 30
Infinite Arc    x 30            Shield          x 30
Southern Cross  x 30            Pendant         x 30
Silvia          x 30            Holy Emblem     x 30
Viper Whip      x 30            Elixir          x 50

 STRATEGIES:
There really aren't any real strategies (:P that sounds wierd)  Just
keep in mind that he is weakest against the Holy property.  He is
slightly resistant to physical attacks, so try not to use them too
often.  His greatest weaknesses, other than Holy, are all of the
elements.  I'm sure you see how weak he is.  I do reccommend, however,
that you bring a healing item of some sort simply because his Max
skill is pretty powerful.  He's got a lot of HP, which is another
reason to bring along some powerful weapons.  Also try and use lv3
Overskills whenever possible, as these are rather damaging to him.
With a little bit of patience, if anything, you'll easily be able to
take down the "Ruler of the Underworld."

- I want to thank Riviera's creators, I guess.
- Also, I would like to thank gooberp for telling me where just

- LekleiRadiant for creating the topic in the first place.  :P
- Also DFuzzy1 also for some help where I was missing items.

6.0  Closing
-------------

In closing, all I really wanna say is the same stuff I said in the legal
stuff.  Also, if you have any questions or suggestions, you can e-mail me at
[email protected].  I really don't check my mail everyday, so it might take
a while to get a response.  I don't want to be rude, but if I can't understand
what you're trying to say, I won't even bother to respond.  Truthfully though,
I would prefer to be contacted via the Riviera boards because I visit there
often.  Let's see...also, if you must contact me, make sure you type in your
question in the subject box because I'm not going to respond unless I know
exactly what you want.  Umm...if you have any ideas to make this better
(formatwise or other) please let me know!  I guess that's everything I want to
say...oh yeah, I guess I'll say that this guide is copyrighted by Buddhu23, you
can't use it unless you ask, and make sure to give credit!
