Tokusei (Characteristics) Guide

Hi there, and welcome to my small guide to the 78 Characteristics of Pokemon.
The tokusei is listed in the middle of the first Status screen when you view a Pokemon.
The effects mostly occur in battle, but some (like FindStuff) happen anywhere.
This Shift-JIS version has the Japanese symbols so you can match them to your Pokemon.
There is also an ASCII Version coming with no symbols (in case kana show up as garbled
nonsense on your computer).

Version history:

0.97 - First release, 75/78 translated, just waiting on a few tricky ones...

1.00 - All names and descriptions are done; I am now adding explanations for the
more confusing ones and in the process of getting a full list of which Pokemon
have which Characteristics (some have more than one possible choice...).

2.00 - Well, now that I have 2 things completed, I release Version 2!
All Pokemon are included, I think, and now I have a puzzle: Some tokusei
are attributed to pokemon you can't get yet, and one is even assigned to nobody!
Any clues why this is? I'd appreciate any info...

2.01 - Crap, I forgot to change MindPower's info! Alright folks, sorry if anyone believed
they could get 100% hits from a OHKO, but it isn't happening ^_^;

The Characteristics, in game-order (the exact order they are stored and
numbered inside the ROM data):

A "*" by a word or phrase means I'm not certain that's what it says.

The pokemon are now listed under the tokusei they can have, in Houen-Pokedex order.
Some pokemon are randomly given one of 2 different tokusei, in this case they are listed under both.
The word "tokuseinashi" (No Characteristic) is in the ROM at the end of the list.
Why? There is no pokemon which doesn't have a characteristic, so why bother? Could this be a sign
of forward-compatibility with a game they haven't even started on yet?
