- How to catch a Pokemon -

You must start the Catch`em Mode before you can catch a Pokemon.

First your ball must go through the Right Loop on either boards at
least2 times. You must have the letters G and E arrows completely
lit (blinking is not considered completely lit) Once thats done shoot
the ball into Sharpedo (Ruby) or Wailmers (Sapphire) mouth to start
Catch`em Mode. (Different Pokemon apprear depending on if you lit two
of the GET arrows or three) Once Catch'em mode is activated hit the
Chinchou/Lotad (Ruby) or Shroomish (Sapphire) Bumper to make the
Pokemon appear. (If you hit it the bumpers three times without the
ball going back down to the bottom half of the screen the Pokemon
willbe automatically display instantly without losing time) Once the
Pokemon is shown hit it three times to catch it. Remember that you
have a 2 minute limit to hit the bumpers and catch the Pokemon.

- How to evolve a Pokemon -

You must start EVO Mode before you can evolve one of your caught
Pokemon.

First your ball must go through the Left Loop on either board 3
times (you must lite all 3 of the EVO arrows) Once you've done
that the MART gate will change into the EVO gate.(If you have
no Pokemon or none of your Pokemon can evolve the Mart gate will
not change into the EVO gate) Once you shoot the ball in there EVO
mode will start. First you must select which Pokemon you want to
evolve. Select the Pokemon you caught and want to evolve by
press left or right on the control pad. Press Up on the Pokemon
to see if you already have the evolved form of that Pokemon. If
the Pokemon is displayed by a ? or a silhouette, that means you
haven't obtained that Pokemon yet. You'll have two minutes to
obtain the three nessacery items to evolve the Pokemon. Once
you get one another will appear until you get three. Once you
obtained all three shoot the ball into the center hole. Once
you've done that your selected Pokemon will evolve.

- How to hatch a Pokemon and Catch it -

First you must start Egg mode. On Ruby you'll have to hit the
Cyndaquil 4 times to start Egg mode. On Sapphire you must lite
all four lights in the Egg Stand to start Egg mode. Once you've
done that the egg will hatch and a Pokemon will appear. It will
roam around the board for a minute so you'll have a minute to
hit the Pokemon twice. Once you've done that you caught the
Pokemon!

- How to catch Jirachi -

First you must be in the RUINS area. (Explained how to get there
in the travel section) Once you're there an arrival panel will
apprear in the slots now. If you manage to get the arrival panel
in the slots Jirachi will appear on the field. You must hit it
3 times in 30 seconds to capture it. Once you've done that you've
caught the #201 Pokemon

- How to catch Kyogre/Groudon/Rayquaza -

To catch these Pokemon you must complete their bonus stage
the second time you visit it.

- How to TRAVEL -

First you must start Travel Mode. To start Travel mode in the Ruby
Board you must first hit the Chikorita so it uses its razor leaf
attack. Once you did that hit the Linoone on the left side to make
one Gulpin appear. Once three Gulpin appear Travel Mode will start.
To start Travel Mode is Sapphire you must hit the seedot switch on
the left side of the field. Once you've hit it three times Travel
Mode will start. Once Travel mode started you must go through
either the left hoop or right hoop to make Center Hole appear. Once
you shoot the ball into the center hole you have a choice to travel.
Press A to confirm or B to cancel. You'll have only one minute in
Travel Mode. Different Areas means you can catch different Pokemon
in Catch'Em Mode. Pokemon that appear in Egg mode are always the
same regardless of area. Also on you SIXTH travel you can go to
the RUINS Area. Also the area that you go to depends on which
LOOP you go through

There is and Area Order which it follows. It goes something like
this.
Ruby: Forest>Volcano>Plains>Ocean>Safari Zone>Cave

- How to get the slots -

Once the Ball passes through an Out or Return Lane its Hole Light
will become lit. The light can be moved right or left using the
Right or Left Flippers. When all four are lit the hole will appear
in the center. Shoot the ball int here to start the slots. Various
item panels will show and whatever it stops on is what you get.

- How to earn an extra ball -

You can get an extra ball by doing the following

- Get the Extra panel in the slots
- Buy it in the Pokemon Mart for 99 coins
- Catch 15 Pokemon
- Occasionally, the Ball Upgrade will be changed into a 1UP
 item on the Ruby Field

- How to Upgrade the ball -

When the ball passes through a Field Multiplier Lane (above the
bumper) that lane will become lit. If all three lanes are lit
you ball will be upgrade by 1 level. However it won't last
forever. After a certain amount of time passes, the Ball will
be downgraded by one level. The light can be moved right and
left by using the Right and Left Flippers, making it easier
to light all 3. Higher level balls means higher the score is
