#1 Introduction
'''''''''''''''
This Faq was made to be able to give help to any person that is having
trouble with the game of MegaMan Battle Network 3 White Version, but since the
storyline is the same for the Blue version this could also help them, but it
was made specially for the White Version.
This game is an RPG (Role-Playing Game) which means that you take the
role of a boy named Lan and his Navi MegaMan to save the world for the 3 time
in his fifth grade. It is also a collectible game since you can collect 200
standard chips, Mega Chips, and Giga chips.
You will most likely spend a lot of time in the net, but not the real
one, the net of the game, when you are in it, you will most likely encounter a
virus, but it won't affect your game because that is what the game is all
about, you have to get rid of the viruses that appears to you, this technique
is called Virus Busting.
When you encounter a virus, there is a 3x3 space for MegaMan and another
3x3 space for the viruses. Lan can send chips to MegaMan so that he can use
them to defeat the viruses in a easier and more simpler way. The battle ends
when either the viruses or MegaMan is deleted, and you now if someone is
deleted if their HP reaches 0. If MegaMan gets deleted it is Game Over for you
and you start over for where you last saved the game.
Well, as the game says: "Jack in MegaMan, Execute!"

#3 Walkthrough
''''''''''''''
Scenario 1: Teacher's Turorial
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
The year is 200X.
The world's machines are joined in a world wide network.
But there is a dark side to this convenience as well:
Computer viruses, and an increase in NetCrime.
The Virus Lab at the SciLab...
Conducts research into ways of dealing with these viruses.
One day...
The students of ACDC school, in ACDC Town in Den City,
took a field trip to the SciLab Virus Lab.
You will now be at the Virus Lab which is located at SciLab, you will
not be able to get out through the door because MegaMan will stop you and Lan
will obey him.
You should now talk with the kid that is wearing an orange colored
shirt, I know there are two of them so talk to the one that is below you after
you appear, the one that is almost at the southeast (bottom-right) corner.
After you finish talking to him, you should receive an e-mail from the MailNews
telling you something about being carefull about viruses.
You should now speak with Dex, Mayl and Yai, and after that you should
go and speak to everyone else and see what they have to say, the other orange
kid will talk longer because he is explaining something to you. It is about
your regulas or custom chip. You can press Select at your folder to make that
chip your custom chip but you need to have the amount of Memory needed to do
that. After you finally finish speaking with everubody else, your teacher will
call up all of you and the tutorial shoudl now begin.
The teacher will give a brief introduction about the guy that will be
remembering or teaching you the tutorial then the guy will speak to all of you
telling you to press the R button to jack into the PC to be able to start with
the tutorial. If you wait long enough without doing anything, MegaMan will tell
you to press the R button to jack him in, and if you press any other button,
MegaMan will say the same thing, so go ahead and press that button, the R
button.
Now the scientist will start explaining to you the first lesson of the
tutorial. Here is what you have to do, he will tell you to do it but I will
cover it here also: After he finishes talking choose one Cannon A, if you don't
he will tell you to do so, now after you do so and he finishes talking again,
choose the second Cannon A. He will explain everything about the battle and let
the battle start, now once a Mettaur is in front of you, don't let it attack
but immediately press the A button to shoot the cannont at him and therefore
killing him, do the same thing with the next Mettaur and the battle will
finish, it shouldn't even have been necessary to move.
Now lets move onto the second lesson of the tutorial. He will now
explain another way of attacking and choosing the available chips, so first of
all choose the AreaGrab L chip and now choose the WideSword L chip, I know they
are different chips but they have the same code, if they have the same code you
can choose them both, and if they have the * code, you can always choose that
chip, he will explain that to you too. So now immediately after the battle
begins, press the A button to use AreaGrab and therefore stealing 3 panels of
the enemy area, now stand on the middle panel of the area you just stole and
press A again making a double delete. If you want you can try to kill the
Mettaur with you buster but it won't be necessary, just wait for the Custom
Gauge to get full and press the L or R button, choose those same chips again or
you can choose whichever you like, now when the battle restarts, just worry
about deleting that Mettaur in any way that you prefer.
Now after you kill that Mettaur, you will move on to the next and final
lesson of the tutorial, he will now explain what are the blank spots at the
bottom of the chip selection screen. They are for the extra chips that you can
use by pressing the Add button. So first of all since you have your HP full
choose those 3 Recov10 chips and then press the Add button, not the OK button,
the Add one. Lan will talk to MegaMan and you will have to wait until the
Custom Gauge is full, when it is full and you are alive, (I really doubt that
you are dead) press the L or R button and you will now have the ability to
choose from three more chips than before, instead of 5 chips there are now 8
chips, the max of chips is 10 so be sure to use this function the best way
possible. Now choose any chip that you like and delete those Mettaurs. My
suggestion is to choose 3 Cannons, no matter their codes and shoot one Cannon
to each Mettaur killing them all!
Scenario 2: FlashMan's Hypnotizing Rays
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
The tutorial has ended and Lan now remember how to NetBattle again. You
will now be at your classroom, at 5-A. Talk to everyone to gain some knowledge,
remember to always talk to every single person in any RPG, that is why it is an
RPG, talking to everyone and checking everything is the key not to get stuck,
but if you do get stuck that is what this walkthrough is for.
You will appear in your class when you have control.
- Jack-In to the BlackBoard and receive a Regup 1 Memory, very early in
the game.
- Go out of the school.
- Go to the ACDC park right below you when you get out of school.
- A guy at the park will tell you about the N1 Grand Prix and that you
would want to enter it, of course everyone enters it so they will be waiting
for you at the ACDC Square.
- Jack into your computer.
- Speak with GutsMan in ACDC Area 2.

is at the top right in ACDC Area 3.
- Return to the Navi for the next question.
- The answer to the second question is False, so go get the X card which
is at the top right in ACDC Area 2.
- Return to the Navi for the last question.
- The answer to the third question is also False, so go get the X card
which is in the center of ACDC Area 1.
- You will receive the code to access Yai's PC.
- Talk to your mom, no not your, Lan's mom.
- After dinner go to Yai HP through ACDC Area 2 and chat with them for a
while.
- Jack out and go the the school's gate.
- Speak with Dex.
- Go to ACDC Area 2 just before ACDC Are 3 and check the Gate Key to

- Go to class 5B and turn on the lights.
- Go one down once, and then go left there will be the Key Disc 1.
- Open the lower Gate with Key Disc 1.
- Key Disc 2 is at the end, the first Mystery Data is a virus.
- Open the north gate with Key Disc 2.
- There are three mystery datas, one is a fake chips, the other is a
Recov10 * and the other is Key Disc 3.
- Open the Final gate and head onto the next area, Area 2.
- Speak with the Navi at the center.
- Go to the Principle's office and turn on the lights there.
- At the upperright area you will find Password C.
- At the lowerright area you will find a virus and Password B.
- Go south to the pencil walkway, at the south part of there is an HP
Memory, and at the north part you will find Password A.
- Now that you have three passwords you can go through the door, go back
to where the Navi was and do it.
- Get ready to fight FlashMan.EXE, save if you suck because this one is
not the hard.
FLASHMAN.EXE (Version 1, 300 HP)
- It was lightbulbs on his shoulders, when he raises them, be careful
and destry his lightbulbs at your area.
- Just be sure to move fast and when his light bulbs appear in your
area, then destroy them if you can, if you can't you will be paralyzed. Stay at
the upper two lines so that ne never steals your area. If you have it then use
any Grass chip available.
- Attacks: The one that he get close and does a ### attack (15 HP)
#

- You can now go to sleep, so do it.
Scenario 3: Animals have Gone Crazy!!!
''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''
What!!??? Lan has a little brother, no he doesn't. But that kid is
looking for the Number 1 NetBattler of ACDC, but Lan doesn't has a brother,
does he? What has Dad been doing? No wonder he always late for home.
- Speak to Yai.
- Speak with Mayl
- Speak with "your" brother, but he says you are not his brother (sorry
Dad)
- Go to class 5A, your class, and talk to Dex.
- Go back to Chisao, the kid, and he wants Dex to kick your ass!
- If you let him do it, then its Game Over, so you kick his ass!
- Chisao will run away crying. JAJAJAJAJA, I think its funny
- Now take the Metroline and go the SciLab
- Your Pet is broken, so take the elevator to Dad's Lab.
- He's in a meeting now, so talk to the guys to the north east.
- Receive the Safe Pet, its the only thing he can do.
- Get e-mail from Dex, its not complaining about Chisao, believe me.
- Take the elevator down to the lobby again and the NI guy will give you
the ticket to go to SciLab Area from the CyberMetro.
- Go back to ACDC town.
- Jack into Dex's PC
- Exit to ACDC Area 1, head south to end up at the CyberMetro,
- Once in the SciLab Area, head up the stairs and go talk to GutsMan.
- Before entering the SciLab Square, talk to everyone around it.
- Talk to the Navi at the NorthEast side of the square to have a 3
Survival Battle.
- Talk to it again, and accept the second part of the preliminaries.
- Get out and go talk to your friends.
- Go back to SciLab 1 through the upper part, in the center talk to the
purple navi, they make some acting but Lan screws it up and they have to make
another shoot, in order words, look for him again.
- Go back to SciLab 2 and again in the center of it the purple Navi will
be there, Lan won't screw it up and have the battle, defeat those viruses.
- Go back to the SciLab Square and talk to the Navi to get ACDC Cyber
ticket.
- Jack out and go Jack in into Yai's PC, go to ACDC Area 2 and fight the
navi near the entrance to ACDC Area 3.
- After beating it, the communication will cut out, and MegaMan will be
on his own, so every virus encounter will have to be beaten without chips, so
prey for no viruses.
- In the net go back to Yai PC and Jack Out.
- Go home and ask Dad to fix your PET, but he won't be able until later
on, so go to bed.
- Next day, you are late for the school trip, so hurry to school.
- Go near the Hot Springs and speak with Dex, Mayl is in the room, and
Yai is in the back of the Inn.
- Check the fence after talking to Yai.
- You are going to play for a lot of time (1 whole), you will see how
they play and all.
- It is the next day and MegaMan can jack in again.
- Get a mail from Dad according to the new Navi Customizer.
- You got it before anyone else, great, no go fuss about it, just
kidding: in the mail there are the rules about the Navi Customizer.
- #1 Blank programs must touch the middle line.
- #2 Square programs must not touch the middle line.
- #3 Programs of the same color must not touch each other.
- Receive Mail from Dad about the same thing, just for you to remember
the rules, if you don't follow them MegaMan may end up with a Bug in his
system.
- Now go to the front of the zoo where everyone is waiting for you. Once
you are there you can go in.
- Speak with Dex and Yai in area 1 and to Mayl in area 2.
- Check every single animal, every cage, everyone, don't miss a thing.
- Talk to everyone else.
- Now after doing that check the lion cage in area 2.
- Everyone will be late and you'll get angry (look who's talking!)
- The bird will get Chisao away and the animals will go nuts tearing
apart every piece of flesh available, no just kidding, but they will escape.
- Take the path between the lions and the panda and go back to Area 1.
- Speak with Dex near the entrance and attempt to exit.
- Take the emergency exit through the back part of the zoo, the building
near the entrance, stick to it and you'll find it.
- Get back out of the inn and attempt to go back into the zoo.
- But Chisao is on the top of the electrical post.
- Dex will come, and another guy will asj your help, so go back to Zoo
Area 2 and jack into the panda console.
- You will find some Mettaurs blocking your way, you have to take them
the proper programs, and if the Mettaurs and right next to each other then take
all (2 or 3) programs at the same time to get rid of all the mettaurs.
- Here is a list of which program to take to each Mettaurs blocking the
way, NOTE: I got it from the gamewinners.com website, I cold have made one up
but this just makes it much more easier.
- Mouse virus: Cat program
- Frog virus: Snake program
- Rabbit virus: Rabbit program
- Gorilla virus: Banana program
- Sea Lion virus: Ball program
- Clam virus: Otter program
- Tree virus: Beaver program
- Two Panda viruses: Bamboo program and Tire program
- Mongoose virus: Cobra-snake program
- Jar virus: Octopus program
- Two monkey viruses: Walnut program and Chestnut program
- Parrot virus: Tounge Twister program
- Three viruses: Cat, Lion: Tiger program ; Wool, Lamb: Sheep program;
Wolf, Foz: Dog Program.
- Knowing this you shouldn't have any problem at all reaching the place
where BeastMan lurks, since it is really straigh forward.
BEASTMAN.EXE (Version 1, 500 HP)
- As his name implies, it is a beast, it has giant claws which he uses
to appears near you and SLASH you.
-Use the same strategy as with FlashMan of moving fast but this time
stay only in the middle row, he can't use AreaSteal but if you stay there you
can dodge his attack easily, if he attacks in front move back, if you attack
from back, more forward, easy.
- Attacks: He disappears and reappears in front of you swiping you to
death!!! (20 HP)
- He disappears and reappears back of you swiping you to death
from the back, as a backstabber!!! (20 HP)
- He will make some dashes that go diagonally, to avoid them,
when you see only his claw, then immediately move horizontally aligned with it,
it won't hit you. (20 HP)
- He has no elemental weakness, so fill it his wide and long swords to
when he is momentarily still and slash him back.
- BeastMan will now die, actually get deleted but BeastMan's operator
did get the tetracode, what can the be???
- Lan goes back to where chisao was and Chisao starts falling and falls
in Dex's arms, and they are happy again and that's the end of this chapter.

#7.5 Navi Customizer
''''''''''''''''''''
The Navi Customizer is the new add-on added in MegaMan Battle Network 3
series since in the MegaMan Battle Network 2 and 1, this feature was not
available. The Navi Customizer was made to replace the power-ups system, now
instead of buying a speed+1 for example, you buy a speed+1 program and have to
put it inside the Navi Customizer, so it is also a disadvantage to it.

Coming Real soon...
#9 Jobs
'''''''
Jobs here will be covered in order on which they appear, therefore the
last one is the first one of the first one is the last one.
First Job: Please Deliver This
Can someone make a delivery for me? It isn't dangerous so anyone can do
it. I'm the red navi between ACDC Square and the CyberMetro. Come see me and
I'll tell you the rest.
Well, do as the Job tell you to, first of all go to where to requester
of the Job told you to, but the area between those two places is not that
small, but it won't be hard to find it. Go to ACDC Area 3 and on the first
turn, well, turn. It will tell you to take the "Old Tool" to her husband. Her
husband is located in the 5A blackboard, so go there and jack in. After you
jack in, her husband will be to the northeast of you (up-right), talk to him
and give him his tools. Return to her to receive her thanks and her reward, it
is a Yo-Yo1 D.
Thank you so much! My master's shy, so he's not good with words, but I
know he's grateful. Thanks again.
Second Job: My Navi is Sick
Hello! My Navi's feeling under the weather. Apparently I need a Recov30*
to fix him. Does anyone has a Recov30*? I'll pay a reward to anyone who finds
me the chip! I'm waiting at the SciLab Station.
Well first of all you should get the chip, for what I know you should
already have al least one of these, and if you don't I know exactly where to
get some free in some mystery datas but you'll have a few random battles. Go to
ACDC Area 3 and go past the Squirrel, but instead of going to the CyberMetro
take a detour to the dead ends there, in this area I got like 5 of the Recov30*
that I have. Once you get the chip, then go to the girl at the SciLab Station,
she is at the very southeast (down-right) corner, talk to her and give the chip
to her. Her reward will be a RegUp3.
My Navi got better right away! How are you faring, my knight in shining
armor? Thank you so much for trading that chip!
Third Job: Help With my Son!
Um... This is rather embarrassing, but I'm having trouble with my son. I
can't talk about it here, so can you come to Yoka Station? I'd prefer someone
skilled at NetBattling.
First of all go to where the job indicates you to go, go to the
Metroline Station at Yoka and talk to the woman that is besides the girl right
after you get to the station. She wants you to give a lesson of criminality to
her son so do so. Her son's navi is in ACDC Area 3 right near the entrance from
ACDC Area 2 to ACDC Area 3. Talk to him and he will make you battle a Mettaur2,
a Fishy and a Boomer. After you deleted those viruses the guy will promise to
be good from now on, so go back to his mother at the Yoka Metroline Station and
receive your reward which is a SpinYllw, it works so that you can rotate yellow
NaVi Customizer Blocks in your Navi Customizer.
I owe you big time. My boy's finally settled down. I'd have it so easy
if my son was as polite as you.
Fourth Job: Transmission Error
I sent some data to the wrong place! I need someone to delete it, or
there's going to be trouble. Come to the Virus Lab at SciLab, and I'll fill you
in.
First of all do as the request tells you to do, go to the SciLab's Virus
Research Lab, where you first appeared in the very beginning of the game, there
will be a scientist on the very northwest (topleft) corner of the room, speak
with him. He will tell you to look and delete the data he mistakenly sent to
another place. So go to the Zoo Area not the Zoo Comp, Zoo Area 2 in real world
and check the educational program of the hippos and the flamingos, check it at
least twice, I had to check it twice. You will have a battle with the following
viruses: a Yort, a Ratty and a Ratty2. After defeating them therefore
completing the job, you should go back to speak with the scientist at the Virus
Research Lab and he should give you your reward which is an HP Memory.
Thanks to you, the damage was minimal. I still can't believe you're Dr.
Hikari's son. That was a surprise!
Fifth Job: Chip Prices
I need to know the price a rival is asking for a chip. If he finds out,
it could get ugly, so meet me at ACDC Square.
As always got to where the request tells you to, go to the ACDC square.
The Navi that asked for the request is where the navi that was asking fot the
first preliminaries of the N1 Grand Prix was, at the NorthEast (Top-right)
corner of the center square. Talk to him and he will tell you to go to SciLab
square, so do it and speak with his brother the purple Navi at the west side of
the middle warp. Now go back to the Navi how made the request and then back to
this purple navi again, and no wonce more to the where the requester of the job
was and speak with him for a third time. He will tell you how bad he feels and
give you the Slasher B chip in return for all your troubles, it is a great chip
against BeastMan and DrillMan, also ProtoMan.
I'm sorry to have put you through all of this for nothing. On the bright
side, my brother and I learned a lot. From now on, we'll work together as
family. Thank you!
Sixth Job: I'm Broke...!
I know this isn't something to ask a perfect stranger, but can someone
PLEASE lend me 8000 Zennys? I lost my wallet and bag in Yoka. I don't know what
to do! I promise I'll pay you back! I'm at the Inn Lobby.
Now, first of all go to where the job tell you to, always remember that
because that is the basis. Go to Yoka Inn by taking the Metroline to Yoka, then
right after you enter the Inn, go to talk to fat man that is right to the right
of Lan after you enter. He will tell you to lend him 8000 zennies, even though
he doesn't know you at all, he is ashamed but he still asks you. Lend them to
him and exit the Inn, after you are outside the Inn, wait 0.01 seconds and
reenter the Inn again, after that speak with him one more time. He will ask
your help to find his temporal navi that is at the Yoka area, so go back out
and go into Yoka Area 2, the navi is also at the entrance from Yoka Area 2 to
Yoka Area 2, there will be a purple Navi bothering him, so take care of him for
it. You will have to battle a Shrimpy 2, a Spikey 2 and a Ratty 2. After that
the green navi will thank you and give you the cash Data, now go to the bank
and withdraw all of the money of the fat guy........Just kidding, you cannot do
that, because if you could I would have done it, just go back to the fat man
and speak to him agian. He will thank you and return the money you lent to him,
the interest you got from lending money was an HP Memory for MegaMan.
Thank you! If it wasn't for you, I don't know what I would have done.
You know, some people may try to take advantage of your kindness. It may sound
funny coming from me, but you should be very cautious.
Seventh Job: Rare chips for cheap!
For certain reasons, I need to dispose of a rare chip. I'm inside a
telephone. The first one who finds me gets the chip!
Well, the phone calls on this game are made directly to the PET of that
owner, so there is only one phone inside of all of the game, so it shouldn't be
hard to locate the guy in the phone. The only phone in this game is the one at
Yai's house, so go there and the phone is at the southwest (downleft) corner,
press the R button to jack into it. Speak with the Navi that is at the
southwest (downleft) corner and he will tell you that he is sad because he will
only get to rob a little kid! Now he will battle you, he will send you a couple
of viruses, so defeat or delete those viruses and finish him off. You will get
a reward of 10000 zennies, actually not a reward, but more sort of a payment
from the guy so that you let him go.
A chip ad was used as cover for illegal activity recently. Any such
messages will be immediately reported to the Officials. - Board Administrator.
Eighth Job: Be my Boyfriend!
Hiya! Do any of you have a male Navi that's kind, smart, handsome and
strong? You know, an all-around great Navi? I'm too busy to explain! Meet me at
Beach Square ASAP!
First of all, go to whre the girl there tells you to, once you get to
the Beach Square, talk to the orange "cute" Navi that you saw before, the
orange bunny Navi that interviews you for the N1 Grand Prix and all, that navi.
Talk to her and she will have you assume that you are her boyfriend, fussing
about you with the other guys. She will ask you some questions, the answer to
the first question is the first option, the answer to the second question is
the second option, and the answer to the third question is the third option. If
you do not answer correctly, she will get mad and let free some viruses and
make you "save" her from them. She will tell you that you are not good at all,
and ask you to leave, but before you leave she will give you your reward which
is a StepSwordO chip, pretty useful I must say.
You weren't the best but you tried hard. Thanks, I guess.
Ninth Job: Will you deliver?
Oh my aching back! I have to deliver this here chip, but I'll be darned
if I'm not too old for this! Would someone be a darlin' and deliver it for me?
I'm a'waiting at the bottom of the sloped street in front of the Inn!
Now go to Yoka in the real world taking the Metroline, there go to the
area of the Inn, once you've crossed the bridge talk to the odl lady at the
southeast (downright) corner of the area. She will give you a TimeBomb N for
you to deliver. Now go to the Beach Area in the real world too, and then to the
DNN station, at the middle of the HallWay there will be a man waiting for you,
hablde him the chip. Now go back to the old lady in front of the Inn. She will
say that she gave you the wrong chip and wants you to deliver another one of
those, this time you will deliver an Invis *. Now the man at the DNN station is
gone, but you know wher his navi is, it is at the ACDC Square. So now get to
ACDC Square, on the net obviouly, whichever way you like and talk to the purple
navi, give him the chip. Now go back to the old lady in front of the Inn again
and receive her reward for helping her, it is a Aqua+30 * chip, use with with
BubbleMan chips, it really helps.
Sorry I put you through all that trouble, sonny. But it turned out all
right, didn't it? Ha!Ha!Ha!
Tenth Job: Look for friends (Tora)
I'd like someone to help me find an old friend. If you can help come
meet me at ACDC Park.
Now to start with, go to ACDC park in the real world and talk to the
only man that is there and that was not there before, he is near the trees. Now
go to the Yoka Inn but do not enter in it, instead Jack into Tamako's PC and go
through the exits that leads to Yoka area 2, instead of the warp to beach
square. Talk to a green Navi that is below there, if you can't open the cube
battle Tamako again, now the navi will tell you whre his operator is. Go to Zoo
Area 1 in the real world, and right after you enter the zoo, there should be a
scientist there, talk to him and give him the note the other guy told you to
give him. Now go back to the man that originally ask for the request at ACDC
Park and he will thank you and you will receive his reward, a RegUp3, it was
worthwhile, wasn't it?
I'm in your debt! It's funny, how I always dreamed of becoming a hero of
justice when I was young, while my friend dreamed of being the boss of an evil
organization! I hope you build up lots of good memories, too!
Eleventh Job: Stuntmen Wanted (Tora)
So you think you're good? Prove it! DNN is looking for a few good stunt
navis for "Cyber Corps: NetRangers"! For the details, come to Beach 1! This
should be your big debut!
First of all I will tell you how to find the navi that you are suppossed
to talk to, he is in Beach Area 1 obviously, because he said he would be there.
So get there whichever way you like, just get there. Once there you should go
to Beach Area 2, but not through the upper part, but from the lower part, near
there but not so near to the entrance of area 2 through the lower part there
should be the navi that wants asked for the request. If I remember correctly, I
think that the navi is orange color, it is a normal navi, it doesn't has any
special design or anything. Now once you find him talk to him and he will have
you battle a 5 battle survival test, so beat all those viruses in 5 different
battles. It shouldn't be hard to defeat them because the viruses are not the
good and problematic, so after you defeat them the guy will like the way you
battled and will thank you for battling for the show or whatever, he will now
give you an HP Memory as your reward.
Absolutely splendid! You're the best, MegaMan! We got some good takes!
See you next time! Hee hee!
Twelveth Job: Riot Stopped (Tora)
There's a gang of Navis spreading viruses by the TV Station. They're mad
because they lost the N1. I can't handle them alone, so if you can help, meet
me at the Station Lobby.
Now for a start you should do what the guys there asks you to do, go to
the DNN Lobby, whre you first met Tora, there talk to the scientist and he will
tell you what to do next, you are suppossed to delete three navis that are
spreading viruses around the DNN station and he can't do it because he sucks,
so he asked you to do it. The first one is where you battle the semi-finals of
the N1 Grand prix and would have battled the final of the N1 Grand Prix also,
just jack into the battling machine, the purple navi is in the southeast
(bottomright) corner, talk to him, delete his viruses and jack out. The second
navi is in the security thing on the second floor, jack into the thing on the
door near the entrance to the studio, once jacked in, speak with the navi which
is in the east (right) corner and he will send some viruses, delete them and
jack back out again. The third and last navi is in the Mini Van outside of the
DNN Building, jack into it and the navi should be around the east (right) part
of the place, speak to him, battle and delete his viruses, once you do that,
jack out and go talk to the man that asked you to do this, he is in the DNN
Lobby. The reward for this mission is a "TALLY", the thing the you require to
be able to get past the purple navi in Beach Area 2, and have access the Hades
Isle, which leads to the UndetNet.
Hot dog! That'll teach them a lesson! You've got some skills! I could
learn a thing or two watching you.
Thirteenth Job: Gathering Data (Tora)
I'm looking for some important data I lost. I can't talk much here. Come
to the teacher's lounge at ACDC School.
Start out as always, do as the request says you to do so, go ahead and
head into the teacher's lounge at your school, it is the room right before the
Principle's Office, go there, the guys the asked for the request is near the
southern most wall in the room, speak to him. No go speak with a program which
is in SciLab 1 near the the WWW door, you do not need to unlock the door so
don't worry, now when you speak with him he will tell you that he lost the data
and now you have to look for it. Go to ACDC Area 2, at the big square where the
lock for the school was, there talk to the navi there and ask him to give you
the data. He will say that since he found that useless data it is now his data
and therefore that if we want it back we would have to pay for it, now kick his
ass and run away with the data.....You cannot do that so you will have to give
him the Yo-Yo1 G, that is the payment he wants, when you give it to him, he
will say something like this "I got a great and usefull chip for some useless
data, I am really good!" Well, you get the idea. Now go back to the guy at the
school lounge that asked for the request to be fulfilled, and give him the
data. He in return, will give you a chip that is only usefull when you want to
use the CustSword to its MAX, his reward is a SloGauge* chip, it is the worse
chip ever, at least I sincerely don't like it at all.
Great job, Lan! You're a lifesaver! Say, that program still hasn't come
back. I'm not mad. I just hope it comes back soon.
Fourteenth Job: Somebody, Please Help!
Dear Sirs. A fellow teacher informed me of your board. A certain
computer is presently infected by a virus. I seek the aid of a proficient
virus-buster. I am waiting in the Principal's Office of ACDC School.
Now, to begin with, go to the School in ACDC Town and into the
Principle's Office, the room in which you fought FlashMan for the first time.
There will now be a woman in the office standing next to the computer, speak
with her so that she tells you what you have to do. You have to find three
bombs that are all over the principle's PC, but she doesn't know where they
are, so you have to check everything that looks suspicious. Now Jack into the
computer there and start looking. Keep heading west and check the red panel
thing on the wall, choose the third option or you will have to battle some
viruses. Now head to Area 2, cheack the red statue at the northwest (upright)
corner, choose the third option again, if you choose any other option then you
would have to battle against some viruses. The last bomb to deactivate is in
the school server, south of where you are just now, or where you are suppossed
to be, south of the second bomb, check the black screen and choose the first
option if you do not want to fight any viruses, if you want to fight choose
either the second one or the third one. Once the three bombs are deactivated,
jack out and talk to the girl there again to receive your reward, she will
thank you and give you a AntiRecvB chip as a reward for helping her. She will
also say that she was suppossed to do what you just did, but she didn't knew
how to, so she posted on the request board.
Thanks, Lan! I knew you were talented when I saw you in N1! Use your
ability to help people! I'm rooting for you!
Fifteenth Job: Looking for Condor
Our condor still hasn't come back. Can someone find it and return it to
the Zoo? Come to the front of Zoo's Parrot Hut. I'll fill you in on the details
there.
First, take the Metrolne and go to Yoka, once there, get out and get
into the Zoo. Now go to where the bird that kidnapped Chisao was, it hasn't
come back yet, that is what you are suppossed to do. There speak with the lady
there, she will explain you what you should do. Now go to the second floor of
the hospital, and go into the room in which Mamoru had been since he was 3
years old, but he is not there anymore because the operation was successfull.
Instead of Mamoru, there will be an Old Man, not in the bed but standing before
it, talk to him and he will give you an Old Doll, it is used to attract the
bird to you so that you can catch it. Once you have the doll on your
possession, get out of the hospital and go into the Metroline, from there take
the ticket to ACDC Town and get on the Metroline. Once you have arrived at ACDC
Town, go into the park and check the slide, Lan will automatically put the doll
on the slide, now get out of there and go back in. Just enter a house, the
school or the Metrolne Station, and get back out again. Now after getting out
again, go back into the park and the bird should be sitting on top of the slide
where you put the doll on, check the slide again and you should now grab the
bird. After grabbing the bird, go into the Metroline Station and ask for a Yoka
ticket, and get on the Metroline. Once you have reach Yoka, go into the Zoo and
talk to the woman that asked you to recover the bird, she will take it back,
therefore you completing this job. The reward she gives you, is a SubMemory if
I remember correctly, she should thank you for your help with that.
Loads of visitors are coming to see the condor, and we owe it all to
you! Next time you visit Yoka, drop by and see the condor yourself!
Sixteenth Job: Help with Rehab
I'm an Official, but I need someone to help me with rehab. You won't be
battling me. I just want to watch you battle so I can regain my virus busting
instincts. If you've got the time, come inside the Hospital's TV.
First of all, I must tell you that this job is pretty easy and that you
get a good reward for it, so get out of SciLab, and once in the SciLab
Metroline Station, take the Metrolina to go to the Beach. Once you arrive at
the Beach, get out of the Metroline Station and go to the screen where the
Hospital is, once there, go up to the Hospital and enter it, after entering the
Hospital, jack into the first TV you come up to, it is to the left of the
entrance inside the lobby. After jacking into the TV, head north east, or
simply push right on the control pad and you will meet up with a red or orange
navi on the topright corner, talk to him since he is the one that asked for the
request. Now you will have to battle 4 consecutive battles, in other words you
will have to fight a 4 fight survival battle. They are all SP viruses so don't
take on them the easy way. Now, after you defeat those viruses, we will feel
rehabilitated (however it is written) and he will now reward you, remember when
I said that the reward was good, but the first prat of it is not, the first
thing that he gives you is a Humor Navi Customizer Block, what does it do, when
you press the L button, MegaMan instead of saying what he would normally says,
he will say bad jokes, although I liked one of them, the rest are just way bad.
Now the second part of his reward is the good part, you get the WWW-Pin that it
is used to get through the WWW doors scatterred all over the net, giving access
to areas with shorcuts, or opening up doors that lead to mystery datas, it is a
good reward for battling 4 SP viruses in a row.
How are you feeling MegaMan? My Net Battling instincts have returned!
I'll be seeing you around!
More coming soon...

#10.1 Standard Chips

Coming Real soon...
#10.2 Mega Chips
''''''''''''''''
The Mega Chips in this game are the more powerful, rare, and harder to
get than Standard Chips but not than Giga Chips. There are a total of 85 Mega
Chips. You can only have 5 Mega Chips in your folder, but can increase that
number by using specific Navi Customizer Blocks.
If you happen to know any info on the info I'm missing, or if I have
something wrong, please e-mail me and I'll give you the proper credit.

#1 Chip: Muramasa
Description: Power = amount of HP lost!
Attribute: Normal
Damage: ????
Usefullness *****
Opinion: This chip for normal and random battles is not worth it at all,
but it is the most useful for Navi battles if you reserve it for the end, you
can use it to defeat a navi if you have UnderSht in your NC and when you have 1
HP hit him and maybe all will be over, it may save your life and help you
defeat poweful navis, I used it against Alpha.
How to get it: See the NumberMan Lottery Codes Section.
#2 Chip: HeroSwrd
Description: Legendary sword cuts 3 squares!
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 180
Usefullness: ****-
Opinion: This is the best sword you can possibly have in your folder
because it can hits all of the enemy panels if you are in the center and you
have all your panels too, it hits 180 HP so it is quite usefull. The only sword
that is better than this one is the LifeSword but that sword is a PA so it
doesn't really count.
How to get it: Normally I don't know, but you can get it by using the
Higsby's lottery machine, look in the corresponding section to be able to get
more information about it.
#3 Chip: ZeusHammer
Description: Damages anyone on a panel
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 250
Usefullness: *****
Opinion (Contributed by CecilStrife): This is the exact e-mail sent to
me: "I just wanted to let you know the zeus hammer is a lot better then you
give it credit. While it does hurt you unless you can get aruond it(i will tell
you how later) it hits the enemy no matter where they are as long as they are
on or over a sqaure. The only time it wont hit them is when they can fly over
missing panels such as bass. And this takes us to where you can avoid being hit
by it as well. Just break a panel on your side then write in the program for
airshoes or use the custom block version. Then step on the panel and use the
hammer. Oh and make sure that the hammer hits a solid or cracked panel."
How to get it: You can make a trade with the girl in the southernmost
door of the Hades Isle four doors, she will change it to you for a GrabBack K.
#4 Chip: StandOut
Description: Heat: Send Fire into hole
Attribute: Fire
Damage: 220
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: I personally do not like this chip at all because there has to
be a hole so that this chip actually creates some damge to your opponent, and
the worse part of it is that you cannot use it if you are not currently using a
Heat Style, so if you change your style you would have to modify your folder,
it is not really that good.
How to get it: You can buy it off from a Net Trader if I am not
mistaken, look at the Shops section for more information on how to get this
chip and where to get it too.
#5 Chip: Salamander
Description: Heat: Send Fire into hole
Attribute: Fire
Damage: 300
Usefullness: ****-
Opinion: I personally do not like this chip at all because there has to
be a hole so that this chip actually creates some damge to your opponent, and
the worse part of it is that you cannot use it if you are not currently using a

#6 Chip: WaterLine
Description: Water: Draw water from hole
Attribute: Aqua
Damage: 180
Usefullness ***--
Opinion: I personally do not like this chip at all because there has to

#7 Chip: Fountain
Description: Water: Draw water from hole
Attribute: Aqua
Damage: 240
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: I personally do not like this chip at all because there has to
be a hole so that this chip actually creates some damge to your opponent, and
the worse part of it is that you cannot use it if you are not currently using

#8 Chip: Lightning
Description: Elec: Damages object & area
Attribute: Electric
Damage: 160
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: Well The very low down on this chip is that you have to be
wearing an Elec Style, it is not that useless as the ones before because you do
not need to have a hole in the platform, it would definitely be a part of my
folder if I were to do an Elec folder.
How to get it: You can buy it off from a Net Trader if I am not
mistaken, look at the Shops section for more information on how to get this
chip and where to get it too.
#9 Chip: Bolt
Description: Elec: Damages object & area
Attribute: Electric
Damage: 210
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: Well The very low down on this chip is that you have to be
wearing an Elec Style, it is not that useless as the ones before because you do

#10 Chip: GaiaSword
Description: Wood: Take power from next chip
Attribute: Wood
Damage: 100
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: This chip is one of the most usefull chips available, as any
chips that has the requirement of using an specific style, this is its only
downturn, you need to be using a Wood Style or it won't work. You can increase
it power, for example if you send MegaMan this chips GaiaSword 100, Hammer 100,
Hammer 100 then you would only use one chip and that would be GaiaSword, the
other ones will disappears but GaiaSword would now have 300 HP power, it makes
it useful against FlashMan for example.
How to get it: You can buy it off from a Net Trader if I am not
mistaken, look at the Shops section for more information on how to get this
chip and where to get it too.
#11 Chip: GaiaBlade
Description: Wood: Take power from next chip

#12 Chip: Meteors
Description: Drop many meteors on enemy
Attribute: Fire
Damage: 40
Usefullness: ****-
Opinion: This chip is also a great one, it drops losts of meteors on the
enemy and the enemy cannont really evade them because the battle stops and a
dark screen comes like when you are using a Navi chip, be sure to use it when
the enemy is on the first two front rows, that way it deals more damage.
How to get it: Buy from the Net Dealer at Secret Area 2 for 30000z.
#13 Chip: Guardian
Description: Statue punishes when hit
Attribute: Normal
Damage: ---
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: This statue is the best chip to use when you are battling, I
know the the attribute of the chip is Normal but it attacks with an Electric
bolt. When an enemy attack is about to hit you put the statue in front of you
and the enemies will get electrified, and it would be better if you had use
IceStage before attacking with that chip. But beware of it too, if you are the
one that hits the statue then the statue will electrify you so be very
carefull.
How to get it (by Adam Baldwin): "Location of Guardian chip: The
Guardian chip can only be found after the Undernet rank 1 is aquired i.e.
Serenade has been beaten. It should be behind one of the curtains that blocks
your path in Undernet 7, along with the GigaFolder1 NCP."
#14 Chip: Anubis
Description: Anubis poisons enemies
Attribute: Normal
Damage: ---
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: This is a great chip because it poisons the viruses dealing a
great amount of damage without you doing anything. In fact, this chip saved my
life once, I was battling one of those penguins that are invincible on ice and
it used IceStage so I couldn't hit him at all, so I used this chip and he died
poisoned. JAJAJAJAJAJAJAJA!!!
How to get it: If you have 80000 zennies and are willing to buy this
chip for that price, go for Higsby. Or for 150 Bug Frag from the BugFrag trader
in UnderNet 2.
#15 Chip: GodStone
Description: Summons a GodStone from hole
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 150
Usefullness: ****-
Opinion: Well, I haven't used this chip in a battle yet, but there is a
reason for it, I do not like chips that there has to be a hole for them to work
and deal some damage, so I don't like that kind of chips so I don't use them,
personally I don't like it.
How to get it: Buy from the Net Dealer at Beach Square.
#16 Chip: OldWood
Description: Summons OldWood from hole
Attribute: Wood
Damage: 100
Usefullness: ****-
Opinion: Well, I haven't used this chip in a battle yet, but there is a
reason for it, I do not like chips that there has to be a hole for them to work
and deal some damage, so I don't like that kind of chips so I don't use them,
personally I don't like it.
How to get it: Buy it from Higsby. For 40000z! Or for 15000 at the net
trader in the UnderSquare.
#17 Chip: Jealousy
Description: More damage if enemy has chips
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 100
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: I do not like this chip at all, it is great when you are
battling your friends, because right after he finishes choosing his chip you
use this one and BANG!, a lot of damage to the other MegaMan. But for the game
storyline it ain't that good.
How to get it: You can buy it off from a Net Trader if I am not
mistaken, look at the Shops section for more information on how to get this
chip and where to get it too.
#18 Chip: Poltergust
Description: Objects thrown at enemies!
Attribute: Normal
Damage: ---
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: Honestly I do not know why this chips is a 5 stars chip, it
only does real damage if there is an object on the field and if there ain't no
object then no damage at all, you shouldn't use this chip unless you have chip
that create objects or you know that the place where you are going objects
appear at random battles.
How to get it: I got it randomly on the net from a green Mystery Data.
(by Adam Baldwin): "Location of Poltergeist chip: This chip is incredibly easy
to obtain. All you need to do is go to the hospital basement and examine the
area behind the giant tree."
#19 Chip: LifeAura
Description: Repel all attacks under 200
Attribute: Normal
Damage: ---
Usefullness: ****-
Opinion: Now, I really have no idea why this chip is a 4 stars chip when
it should be a 5 stars chip, it really helps and it you use set holy NCB it
repels any attack under 400 so it is very usefull, I use it all the time and it
really gets me out of a beating.
How to get it: Defeat the viruses that are using this aura at the secret
are 3 with a good busting level to get this chip from them, or simply find them
and delete them if you have the Collector's Eye NCB on your NC installed.
#20 Chip: FullCustom
Desciption: Custom Gauge instanly refills!
Attribute: Normal
Damage: ---
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: Well, this chip is pretty useful if you now that you don't have
any chips at all and need to get the Gauge full rapidly, but you would get that
situation very rarely and you could get out of it with minor damage without
this chip, I recommend not to use it but whatever, it's your game.
How to get it: I got it randomly on the net from a green Mystery Data.
#21 Chip: Attack+30
Description: +30 for selected attack chip
Attribute: Normal
Damage: ---
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: This chip is like any other chip that has a plus sign in the
middle, it just adds power to a chip, if you select a cannon 40, atk+30, the
cannon will have an attack power of 70. You can use it in a better way, instead
of using it in a single attack chip, it would be better to use this chip
combined with another that has multiple hits, like you could combien it with a
2xHero PA and the attacks damage would much more than only 30, so it is very
usefull after all.
How to get it: Buy from the Net Dealer in Secret Area 2 for 15000z.
#22 Chp: Navi+40
Description: +40 for selected Navi chip
Attribute: Normal
Damage: ---
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: This chip is very useful with the Serenade chip, it multiplies
its attack power a whole lot, maybe way too much, this chip only adds 40 HP of
damage to a NAVI chip and not any other chip, so I use it alot with my Navis
that hit multiple times.
How to get it: I got it from a Mystery Data somewhere on the net, don't
know where though. You can also get it for answering all the questions of the
Quiz King on the top of Hades Isle.
#23 Chip: Roll
Description: Attack an enemy, heal you
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 20
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: Now this is a great Navi to use the previous chip because it
hits 3 times, so by using that chip you are adding a 120 HP attack damage, so
it is quite usefull after all.
How to get it: Talk to Mayl in Scenario 2, while she is hypnotized, Lan
will take it away from her.
#24 Chip: Roll V2
Description: Attack an enemy, heal you
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 30
Usefulness: ****-
Opinion: This is an even better version of the previous chip, it does 30
more damge than the last one, I don't use any of her chips anymore because I
can only use 5 mega chips and there are better ones out there, but at the
beginning of the game, her chips are very usefull.
How to get it: Mayl gives it to you, either as a sign of friendship,
love, or whatever, she just gives it to you sometimes in the storyline.
#25 Chip: Roll V3
Description: Attack an enemy, heal you
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 40
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: This is an even better version of the previous chip, it does 30
more damge than the last one, I don't use any of her chips anymore because I

beginning of the game, her chips are very usefull.

love, or whatever, she just gives it to you sometimes in the storyline.
#26 Chip: GutsMan
Description: Sneaks up to smash panels!
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 50
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: This is a great chip at the first chapters of the game, and if
you get his lastest version it could be a great for for all of the game, it
destroys all of the panels in front of you so I always use it when I am in the
very front row, but once I got the float shoes I didn't care and just used it
whenever I had it, it is a great chip you know?
How to get it: Defeat GutsMan with a good ranking and Dex will give it
to you.
#27 Chip: GutsMan V2
Description: Sneaks up to smash panels!
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 70
Usefullness: ****-

How to get it: Defeat GutsMan V3 with an S ranking and while using a
Team Style, Dex will give it to you.
#30 Chip: ProtoMan
Description: Moves in to slice the enemy
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 160
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: Since MegaMan Battle Netwrok 1 and 2, ProtoMan chips have
always been my favorite, but specially in this one since it slices every single
enemy one by one. This is also another good chip to combine with a navi+40
chip, but only if you are battling multiple enemies, since it hits every single
enemy, not just one.
How to get it: After ending the game at least one time, go to Hades
Isles where the quarter finals of the N1 Grand Prix were held, there should be
Chaud waiting for you, just beat ProtoMan fairly good and Chaud will give it to
you.

#34 Chip: FlashMan
Description: Flash attack paralyzes enemy
Attribute: Electric
Damage: 50
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: Well if it is the only one you have and are going to fight a
water based enemy, it s very useful. I don't use it since there are better ones
out there. You could use it against BubbleMan, it becomes quite useful.
How to get it: Defeat FlashMan V2 in a dead end in ACDC Area 3, have a

#38 Chip: BeastMan
Description: Claw attack 3 squares ahead!
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 40
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: I don't like it, I just don't, I haven't tried it yet but since
it only takes away 40HP, I know the most it will take away is 120 to only one
row of enemies, so I don't use it at all.
How to get it: Beat BeastMan V2 which is located at a dead end in SciLab
1 with a fairly good ranking level.

#42 Chip: BubbleMan
Description: Fires several AquaShots
Attribute: Aqua
Damage: 20
Usefullness: ***--
Opinion: BubbleMan is the Navi I hate most, he is a coward and when I
fight him I hate those stupid bubbles, but his chips are quite usefull, but the
bad part of it is that it only hits one enemy, unless there are two or more
enemies in a horizontal row. Use a Navi+40 and an Aqua+30 to increase his
attack power alot, because he hits multiple times.
How to get it: Defeat BubbleMan V2 which is at a dead end in Yoka Area 1

Usefullness: *****
Opinion: BubbleMan is the Navi I hate most, he is a coward and when I
fight him I hate those stupid bubbles, but his chips are quite usefull, but the
bad part of it is that it only hits one enemy, unless there are two or more
enemies in a horizontal row. Use a Navi+40 and an Aqua+30 to increase his
attack power alot, because he hits multiple times.
How to get it: Defeat BubbleMan V3 which is found randomly on the Beach
Area 1 while having low HP, beat him with a very good ranking level, while
wearing a Team Style.

Opinion: The first time that I got a chip of this navi, I thought that
it wasn't that good since it only hitted one square in front of you, but then I
realized that you can move the place in which he appears, he is great since it
does inflict some good damage. To move him around, I believe that you need to

it only takes away 80HP, I know the most it will take away is 240 to only one
row of enemies, so I don't use it at all.
How to get it: Defeat BeastMan SP (refer to section 16)
#10 Chip: BubbleMan V5
Description: Fires several Aqua shots
Attribute: Water
Damage: 20
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: BubbleMan is the Navi I hate most, he is a coward and when I
fight him I hate those stupid bubbles, but his chips are quite usefull, but the
bad part of it is that it only hits one enemy, unless there are two or more
enemies in a horizontal row.
How to get it: Defeat BubbleMan SP (refer to section 16)
#11 Chip: DesertManV5
Description: Launches fists at enemies!
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 210
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: It is a very good Navi chip, but since I can only have one Giga
Chip in my folder I use the V4 of it, I like it, personally.
How to get it: Defeat DesertMan SP (refer to section 16)
#12 Chip: PlantManV5
Description: Vines harm all enemies!
Attribute: Wood
Damage: 60
Usefulness: *****
Opinion: I know that it only inflicts 60 damage but it hurts every enemy
and it also hits from 3 to 4 times, so it is a very good one but I can't use it
since the V5 is a Giga Chip and I can only have 5 Mega Chips so the V4 is not
available.
How to get it: Defeat PlantMan SP (refer to section 16)
#13 Chip: FlameManV5
Description: Flames burn all enemies!
Attribute: Fire
Damage: 240
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: It is basically the same thing as PlantMan only that it is
fire, but I don't use it because I already have enough fire chips, the only
difference from PlantMan besides its attribute is that FlameMan hits only one
time but inflicts much more damage.
How to get it: Defeat FlameMan SP (refer to section 16)
#14 Chip: DrillManV5
Description: 3 drills fly at enemies!
Atribute: Normal
Damage: 150
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: It would be great that it inflicted more damage, DrillMan.EXE
is a tough cookie, but his chips ain't that good.
How to get it: Defeat DrillMan SP (refer to section 16)
#15 Chip: MetalManV5
Description: Iron fist smashes 1 square!
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 250
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: This is a great damge dealer, but since it only hits as a sword
you have to have a good timing to not miss, but I think that you can move and
choose where it will appear, I heard that it was with the control pad, if that
is the case, it is very usefull, but even then, it can only hit one enemy.
How to get it: Defeat MetalMan SP (refer to section 16)
#16 Chip: KingManV5
Description: Move up 3 square & 4-way hit
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 280
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: Well, it hits the North, South, East and West side of him and
if it falls on the enemy it doesn't deal any damage, I like it and use his v4
chip since I use another Giga Chip.
How to get it: Defat KingMan SP (refer to section 16)
#17 Chip: MistManV5
Description: Appears from mist and attacks
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 170
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: In my opinion, this is only good for the PA that involves this
chip since then it does 300 HP of damage, but if you learn to combine it with
good chips, it might come in handy, of course, I don't know how to do that.
How to get it: Defeat MistMan SP (refer to section 16)
#18 Chip: BowlManV5
Description: Lines up pins for a strike!
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 180
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: I think it still does too little damage, I prefer to put chips
for PAs instead of this one, but its just my opinion. Also, I have heard that
this chip is the favorite of quite a bunch of people, I personally don't like
it, but its up to you to put it inside your folder or not.
How to get it: Defeat BowlMan SP (refer to section 16)
#19 Chip: DarkManV5
Description: Creates 3 caves in enmy area
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 30
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: I use the V4 chip of this one, I know it only does 30 HP
damage, but it hits multiple times maybe too many times, a whole lot of bats
come out of those caves. You should use it, it really helps and it is sort of
cool to watch enemies take damage from bats, MUAHAHAHAHA!
How to get it: Defeat DarkMan SP (refer to section 16)
#20 Chip: JapanManV5
Description: Multiple attacks w/ spear
Attribute: Normal
Damage: 20
Usefullness: *****
Opinion: It hits lots and lots of times, I love it, no wonder it is the
protector of the Secret Area 2. I personally don't like the way this guys
looks, he looks no more than a foot soldier, but he is quite good you know.
How to get it: Defeat JapanMan SP (refer to section 16)
NOTE: I know this will be in the SP Navis setion, but the ranking level
of how you defeat these navis doesn't matter.

#3 Cannon C
Cannon D
Cannon E
Damage: One hits inflicts 40 damage, each shot fires three hits,
therefore each one is 120. The total damage is upto how many times you use the
PA in the 5 seconds given to you.
Opinion: Well, this is the first PA that you should use, is the first
one I got in every game and it is not that bad, but after you see all the PAs,
you won't want to have Cannons in your folder just to have this PA.
#2 PA: Z-Cannon2
Description: Unlimited HiCannon for 5 Seconds

#2 HiCannon I

Damage: One hits inflicts 50 damage, each shot fires three hits,
therefore each one is 150. The total damage is upto how many times you use the
PA in the 5 seconds given to you.
Opinion: It is not that bad, but after you see all the PAs, you won't
want to have HiCannons in your folder just to have this PA. It is just like the
first Program Advance, the only difference is that it does more damage.

Damage: One hits inflicts 60 damage, each shot fires three hits,

PA in the 5 seconds given to you.
Opinion: It is not that bad, but after you see all the PAs, you won't
want to have M-Cannons in your folder just to have this PA. It is just like the
first and second Program Advances, the only difference is that it does more
damage than all three of them, I personally wouldn't make a folder for this PA,
specially since you get the M-Cannons late in the game, when you can already
create much better ones.
#4 PA: Z-Punch
Description: Unlimited GutPunch for 5 Seconds
Combinations: #1 GutPunch B
GutPunch C
GutPunch D
#2 GutPunch C
GutPunch D
GutPunch E
#3 GutPunch D
GutPunch E
GutPunch F
Damage: Each time you press the A button, it will let out a punch, if it
hits the enemy, then it will produce the same amount of damage a normal Punch
would inflict, the total damage is up to luck, if the enemy in the the front
row and how many times you hit him.
Opinion: I personally hate this types of PAs, since for you to hit the
opponent, he has to be in front of you, if he's not then it will not work, it
is better to use the 3 chip indicidually because it gives you a chance to wait
until the enemy is in front of you. The only way that this is useful is when
you have a virus that only moves up and down, and you used an AreaGrab or
something and he cannot move, and that it has alot of HP, that is the only
circumstance in which this PA is usefull, and let me tell you that that doesn't
happen that often. I personally hate this Program Advance, and think that it
shouldn't even had to be created.

Description: Unlimited VarSword for 5 Seconds
Combinations: #1 VarSword B
VarSword C
VarSword D
#2 VarSword C
VarSword D
VarSword E
#3 VarSword D
VarSword E
VarSword F
Damage: Well, it does the damage that you give to it, depending on how
fast you can do the combinations and also if the combinations hit and are
powerfull, it's up to you to make this Program Advance powerfull.
Opinion: Well, in my opinion, I think that is better to just do the 3
VarSwords on their own instead of this PA, first of all because if you use them
seperately then you will have time to think about which combination to make and
also will give you time to choose when to make the combination. That is the
downpart, that 5 seconds for 3 VarSwords it too little time, its just not worth
it.
#8 PA: Z-Yoyo1

Yo-Yo1 D
Yo-Yo1 E
#2 Yo-Yo1 D
Yo-Yo1 E
Yo-Yo1 F
#3 Yo-Yo1 E
Yo-Yo1 F
Yo-Yo1 G
Damage: Every time you press the A button is like you have used a Yo-Yo1
chip, and 5 Seconds is quite enough for you to use this PA more than 3 times,
once you use it more than three times, you know that it was worth it because
you only used 3 chips and hit the enemy more than three times, and you should
at least used it like 5 times, I mean that that is the average f times I use
this PA.
Opinion: Well, this Program Advance is pretty good but once you see the
finally complete list of all the Programs advances you will not want to include
this in you finaly ultimate folder to defeat all of your friends, but it is
usefull at the part you can get it at, if you get it and have the three chips
at the select screen, do not hesitate on choosing them because I don't think
that you will only use it 2 times or less in 5 seconds, it is pretty good I
must say.
#9 PA: Z-Yoyo2

Combinations: #1 StepSword L
StepSword M
StepSword N
#2 StepSword M
StepSword N
StepSword O
#3 StepSword N
StepSword O
StepSword P
Damage: Well, as in every of the past Program Advances, the total damage
that this Program Advance creates is up to you, its up to you to choose when to
execute it and also you are the one that decides how many times it executes.
For what I remember, each time you press the A button, it would be the same as
if you would have used a StepSword chip, and it does 130 damage each time too,
I think. So use it more than 3 times, maybe even 7 times if the opponnent
doesn't move at all and you are just pressing the A button rapidly, that way it
can deal a lot of damage.
Opinion: My opinion for this Program Advance is that it is very good,
and it is worth it to have those chips in your folder to use against some
enemies, like against Alpha it is very useful, first because he doesn't even
move, you are invincible for the 5 Seconds, so you can hit him alot of times, I
also used it against Bass, when he is charging up to throw shockwaves all over
the place, there I used it and it is useful, I must admit it saves me quite a
few times.

#12 FAQ
'''''''
#1 How do you get to the Secret Levels?
Answer: To get to the secret levels, you have to beat Alpha at least
once, then a star will appear to the right side of continue, once there, go to
the secret UndetNet server at Yoka Inn and jack in there, where you got the
progrom from "S". Press a near it and you will need either 100 or 120 standards
chip to go in.
#2 How do you defeat Alpha?
Answer: Well, that is covered (or will be covered) in the Walkthrough
and Bosses Sections, if it is not there, then wait until I finish the FAQ,
believe me, it will be there.
#3 Why when an error occurs and I press Select to overpass it, nothing
occurs?
Answer: That is a very easy question, you need to have bought the Mod
Tool, to get it, go to the Beach Metroline Station, the guy stading right
outside of it looking aways from it will sell it to you, now the Select thing
will work.
#4 Do you really need to get all the % stars to be able to battle the SP
Navis?
Answer: Yes you definitely need all the 5 stars to get the fight SP
navis, the 5 stars will come close together to give space for the other two,
but if you have less than 5, nothing will happen.
#5 Can you get BowlMan from the Bug Frag Trader machine?
Answer: I never got any of them, I got his chip by trading, and I think
that you cannot because BowlMan is not in the white version, only the SO
version of him, so I guess not.
#6 What does HubBatc does?
Answer: It is a Navi customizer block, so check the sections 7.5 - 7.9
of my FAQ, you will find the answer there.
#7 How do you get to UnderNet 4?
Answer: I think that you need to have a certain UnderRank with you so
that the guy in UnderNet 2 lets you go through, just wait until I finish my
walkthrough, or check other ones.
#8 I'm having a problem getting ranked. I've successfully defeated all
10 challengers in the undernet 1, 2, and 3 but I'm not able to find the Rank
10. The only hint given is "Rank 10 is where the evil fall". Would you be able
to help me. Thx.
Answer: Where evil fall, that is hell right, and where is "hell" in the
game, in hades isle, look for him, he somewhere around there.
#9 How to you get to fight darkman sp? please reply ASAP.
Answer: Read or refer to section 16, SP Navis.
#10 I was reading your mmbn3 game page on www.gamefaqs.com and i got al
the way to the secret area three and ran into those nunber guys with 650 hp. i
dont know of an advance that can take them down so pleeeezeee help me.
Answer: This is the only strategy I know of, there may be more, first
use GrassStage chip, then at the same turn, the first chip must be copy damage,
then the other chips must be the three chips that create the heatshot PA (refer
to a PA guide) and the last one must be a +30 chip, shoot the copy damage to
the one at the upperright corner, and then shoot the PA to the other one,
making 660 damage to both, therefore killing them.
#11 Could you help me on the locations of SP navi's I followed your
other directions but could not find them do u need more than 4 stars to find
them?
Answer: Yes you need 5 stars then while holding left while highlithing
continue, press the following:
RRLRLRLL
After that you can now find the SP navis
#12 How do I find out how to fight serenede? i dont know how to get the
star of honor?
Answer: To fight serenade you need to have the star you obtain for
having 200/200 standard chips, that is the star of honor or whatever.
#13 I had read a cheat in gamewinner that say you could battle Yai and
get a Glide chip. I try it but never got the chip. IS there really a Glide chip
in MMBN3?
Answer: OF course not, do not believe everything you see on gamewinners,
try them once and if they don't work then they are fake. I have seen lots of
them.
#14 How do I get hubbatc?
Answer: Easy, just after getting to secret area 3 where the bugfrag
trader is, go to the bottom left corner and keep pressing against the left
wall, you will come up to an invisible flooryou will have to fight a 20
survival battle and have the Hammer, behind it is HubBatc.
#15 Do you know how to use the Bass or Serenade chips?
Answer: Yes, you need to use a dark hole chip first, or have a darkness
program in your navi customizer, then you can use it.
#16 Where can I find LongSword E?
Answer: The only way I can help you there is to tell you to keep
battling, because when I was got there, I already had that longsword, maybe I
could help you later, becuase my Standard chip library isn't even started but
it will be a while, and I don't advice you to wait.
#17 Where do i find the "Hammer"?
Answer: You have to get to UnderNet 7, the only mystery data you can get
there is the "Hammer".

and destry his lightbulbs at your area.
- Just be sure to move fast and when his light bulbs appear in your

BEASTMAN.EXE (Version 1, 500 HP)

stay only in the middle row, he can't use AreaSteal but if you stay there you
can dodge his attack easily, if he attacks in front move back, if you attack
from back, more forward, easy.

#16 SP Navis
''''''''''''
SP Navis are the best versiions of a specific Navi, you cannot fight
with them at any time in the game because it would be too dangerous and you
would definitely get deleted, you can only fight once with them but before that
you would have to battle 3 consecutive SP viruses battles, then the SP navis
will come.
SP navis are much powerful, stronger and faster than the V3 navis. They
also have more HP therefore it is very hard to get an S rank, but since you can
only fight once with them in the game, then it doesn't matter what is your
rank, you will always get their V5 Navi chips.
Here are the locations of the SP navis, I didn't found them, Zidanet_129
di and posted these locations on the gamefaqs message boards, I do not claim
any credit for these locations.
The ranking level doens't matter you will always receive the V5 chip
because you can only battle them once.
FlashMan SP
- Located in Principal's PC Are 2, where the Navi ranked #7 was located,
but not exactly where it was, when you get to where the navi was keep going
until you get to the edge and there will be FlashMan SP.
BeastMan SP
- At a dead-end in Zoo Comp Area 3, somewhere in there just keep
looking.
BubbleMan SP
- Yoka Area 2, at a dead-end where you go through a place where you need
the Press Navi Customizer block and there are two squares are that, in the last
square is BeastMan SP.
DesertMan SP
- Go to the DNN Building but do no get inside, instead go to the cab in
front of it and Jack into it, after getting in, go NorthEast from the entrace,
at the very corner, DesertMan SP will be waiting for you, or after the entrance
simply press right on the control pad until you get to it.
PlantMan SP
- Go to the operation room at the Beachside Hospital, but since you
can't get in there, just Jack In to where you jacked in to save Mamoru, that is
Hosp Comp 3, well then, now take the first teleport to the right and then the
next one right above this one. Then, go the the left, it should be at the
dead-end there.
FlameMan SP
- Go to UnderNet 3, exactly where you fought against FlameMan the first
time, now stand in the middle of the broken floor and now press left until you
get to it, anf if I am incorrect, then just get to the top of the bottom left
torch, he should be there.
MistMan SP
- MistMan SP is located at the same area at which MistMan.EXE itself is,
at the DNN Battling machine where you fought Tora at the semi-finals and would
have fought Chaud if the N1 Grand Prix would have ended, MistMan is the the
west or left side of the entrance, he is not at the very edge instead he's in
the second row, just get to the left of the warp and press on the control pad
NorthWest (Up and left at the same time) and you should meet him.
DrillMan SP
- Go to where you fought DrillMan for the first time, where he went
right after stealing Alpha, where he was standing, just go a couple more
squares ahead and he should be at the very edge of the place.
BowlMan SP
- Look, I know that BowlMan doesn't appear in the White version and only
in the Blue, but the SP versions of MistMan and BowlMan are in both versions,
to get to where BowlMan SP is waiting for you, remember wher you fought MistMan
SP, if you don't you don't have a very good memory (look up!). Well anyway,
BowlMan is located exactly at the opposite side of MistMan.
DarkMan SP
- Go to Secret Area 1, after entering head west and get off the big
center through the exit there and keep heading west, DarkMan SP should be
waiting for you at the very dead-end of there if I am not mistaken.
JapanMan SP
- Go to Secret Area 2, just whre you fought JapanMan the first time, get
on the walkway to the north of it and where you destroy a column for nothing
because it is a dead end, well, it is not a dead end, you can walk on water and
on the square there, there is JapanMan SP awaiting revenge to you.
GustMan SP
- Jack into Dex's PC and get to the very south part of it, GutsMan SP is
waiting for you at the middle of that edge there. It should be hard to find.
MetalMan SP
- Jack into Tamako's PC and it is in one of the very first dead ends at
the start of it, if I am not mistaken, it is located at one of the left dead-
ends.
KingMan SP
- Go to the second floor of the DNN building and jack into the control
panel of the door, align yourself with the warp so that your are at the south
part of it and simply keep heading south, KingMan SP should be waiting for you
at the very edge of it.
ProtoMan SP
- Jack into the Hades Computer where the first round of the N1 Grand
Prix was held, head down the stair to the east or right of the entrance and get
onto the narrow path there, you should come to a 3x3 area and if I remember
correctly he is located in this square: ### Obviously, ProtoMan SP is where the
P is located. ##P
###
Bass GS SP
- This is very hard and the reward ain't that good, the only reason to
beat him is to be able to fight agains Alpha SP, well anyway, go to Secret Area
3 and into the Bug Frag Trader machine, get into the only dead-end there that
is at the south parth of it and press left on the control pad, you should be
walking over water, you will come to a pillar and a mystery data which is
HubBatC if I'm not mistaken. Bass GS SP is to the south of that mystery data.
Oh, and like I said, the reward is not Bass V5 or nothing, it is 10,000
zennies.
Serenade SP
- This is very hard and the reward ain't that good, the only reason to
beat him is to be able to fight agains Alpha SP, well anyway, this wasn't so
hard to find at all, Serenade SP is located almost exactly wher eyou fought
against Serenade her/him/itself, but just a little to the north of it at the
very edge. Oh, and like I said, the reward is not Serenade V5 or nothing, it is
10,000 zennies and the permission to fight against an even harde Alpha, Alpha
SP!!!
Alpha SP
- For what I know this is the only SP navi that you do not have to fight
againts 3 SP viruses, but you have to fight against Bass, and also it is the
only SP navi which you can fight more thatn 1 time, it has 3000 HP this time,
so it will take quite some hard work on it. It is located at the same place as
the first Alpha, just beat the game again and when you get to fight Alpha, it
will be Alpha SP instead of just Alpha. What is the reward, the satissfaction
that you were able to defeat such a hard navi! :)
I heard, well, actually read in the GameFaqs.com message board that
after beating Alpha SP a "Congratulations" screen appears, but I beated it and
nothing different happened, if you happen to know how to get the
"Congratulations" screen then e-mail me and I will give credit only to the
first one that mails me.
#17 NumberMan Lottery Codes
'''''''''''''''''''''''''''
These codes were gotten by buying lots of chocalates at the Yoka
Metroline station for 500z, these codes can be input at the NumberMan like
machine at Higsby's shop to win the lottery, you don't really win money, but
you do win programs for your Navi Customizer and also some rare chips, but you
can only enter these codes once so don't expect to get 100 of a certain chip.
Also, I don't think that doing this is considered cheating because it is in the
game and you do not require an outer device like the GameShark or CodeBreaker
to be able to do this. Even though, the game wanted you to buy the tickets and
you to get the prices by using your money, but this section has been done to
help you a bit.
NOTE: I got MOST of these at the gamewinners.com site.
