1. Introduction

Hey, this here is ChickyHearn, Number One Love Hina Fan!
When I first heard about this game I thought, "oh yeah Harvest Moon
dating with Love Hina characters!"  Well if that's what your looking
for...This isn't the game for you.  Honestly I was all excited inside, I
mean "Love Hina on GBA!" But when you come down to it the game is
pretty basic and stright forward, but being a Love Hina fan
I was felt that either way I was going to do a FAQ on it.
The game is basically watching/playing the anime on the GBA and maybe
because I had already watched the anime it wasn't all that to me.
Anyway this game should be entertaining to people who are interested
in Love Hina or have only read the manga and are curious.

Graphics 10/10
They look exactly like the anime and thats a good thing since the anime is
probably the best looking anime out their or is at least tied with the best.
Easily on par with Cowboy Bebop and Princess Mononoke.  Plus the whole intro
is completely FMV, it's taken right out of the anime, sweet mama jhama!

Sound: 8/10
The game uses voice clips, which is both a nice and bad thing.  Nice being,
"hey talking voices, cool" bad being, "kinda crackly"  Anyway though the
sound is still top.

Game Play: 3/10
This is where the game takes a complete dive towards hell, the game play
consists of nothing but answering questions.  Their are a few points in the
game where you walk around Hinata-sou but their really nothing special, it's
just overhead view with ugly chibi character sprites.

Reply: 8/10
Since their are nine photos to collect (sort of like trophies) you'll play
the game though a few times but its the same thing over again answering
questions to which you already know the best answer for.  But if your a
completeist you won't mind will you?  Plus the game only lasts about
20-30 minuites!!!

Overall: 4/10 for non-Love Hina fans, 8/10 for Love Hina fans
Yeah, the game wasn't what it should have been.  Answering questions the
whole time?!  Doing nothing but reading text box after text box?!
Yeah this game isn't for everyone their is basically no action in this game,
this is a dating sim through and through.  Of course if your a Love Hina fan
(like me) that is more than enough reason to play.

1a. Version History

Started verison 1.0 at 2:43 p.m. on July 25, 2003

7/30/03 BIG UPDATE!!! Version 2.0 is now out!!!  I've done a update in the area
of the Japanese dictionary, added two new bios, Kanoko and Tsuruko,  added
new questions to the character FAQ, and done some basic cleaning up in general.
The Begenners Guide is now called Indepth Guide. The Japanese dictionary is
now using traditional romanji spellings and is in alphabetical order along
with abunch of new words added.  I've also added in the Story section of
the indepth section what Love Hina consists of meaning how many mangas,
dvds, etc.  Enjoy the update!

7/31/03 UPDATE!!! Version 2.1 is out and running.  Although a small update
I've put up bios for Amalla Su and King Rumba, posted begenning and current
ages for main characters,  added some new words to the Japanese dictionary
section.  I've also added the answer to "Where is Kaolla from?" in the
Character FAQ.  Enjoy everything!

8/15/03 BIG UPDATE!!! Version 2.2 is a go.  I put in a little piece that
Sweetpants51105 sent me, it's at the begenning of the section of
Chapter 4.  I added to Kanoko bio and FAQ on Characters.  Also realized that
under the numbers in the Japanese dictionary that I didn't explain how to make
numbers like 11, 24, and such.  So their is now a little Japanese lesson on
numbers.  Also take a look on name suffixs.  Also I've added more
Japanese words in the dictionary.  Their is also a small section called
"Manga to anime differences" still under construction. Added more
Fun Facts to many of the character biographies.  And if you ever
wanted to see the Hinatasou's pink phone in 3-D check out the last
question in the Character FAQ!  Also I'm adding a NEW CHARACTER to the Indepth
Biography section, Hina Obasan!  Boy, this is more of a Love Hina FAQ than a
game FAQ!

9/17/03 BIG BIG BIG UPDATE!!!  Version 2.3 is out and running.  I had
never actually released Version 2.2 so this is really two really big
updates.  Anyway I have finnally finished for the most part the Love Hina
series in all it's forms, just a few mangas and the Love Hina Again left
for me to read/watch.  But, I did get the Volume 14, the last of the manga.
So their are going to be big character updates in the Indepth Bios section
most of which will occur in:

Biograpies section.  Her name is....(SPOILER!!!) Maeda Ema!  Oh, and remember
to take alook at the Version 2.2 update section for alot of stuff you might

3/11/04 VERSION 2.5, yeah I know I said that the last one was the last update
but I realized I left out a character from the anime, Moe.  So for the sake
of being complete I decided to add her to the FAQ.  Also fixed minor spelling
errors.  This should be the "final" update, but you never know.

4/14/04 VERSION 2.6, yeah I'm real bored and thought I'd work on this "final"
FAQ of mine.  Anywho I added a new section that contains as many of the attacks
used in the manga/anime.  I'd may not have all of them but this is just a start.
Take a peek if you want to, its right after the Character FAQ's.  Chances are
this FAQ will stay active after all since I want to create a Love Hina
Technology section that will contain things such as the Mecha Tamas and other
things that are "outer worldly" so keep comming back.  Currently their are
63 attacks listed and 6 characters' styles.  Also their is one new
bio up, Hina: The Ominous Blade.  Also if anyone knows of Love Hina sites that
are taking submissions, e-mail me as I would like to get this FAQ into a
place with more traffic and were it can be more useful as an anime guide.

6/7/04 VERSION 2.7, I hope this is the last time I up date this because
I'm beginning to run out of useful information.  Anyway like I said I

2. Breif Biographies
These are the characters featured in the game not in the anime or manga.
Anime and manga characters will be featured in the Indepth Guide to
Love Hina as well as all these characters with much bigger biographies.

Urashima Keitaro- A three year ronin who made a promise to a girl while
playing for both of them to go to Todai (Tokyo University), get married,
and live happly ever after.  (This is who you will be playing as)

Narusagawa Naru- Your "main girl," she too has made a promise to get into
Todai.  Could she be the promised girl?

Mitsune Konno (Kitsune)- A foxy (get it?) lady, she loves excitment and is
Naru's best friend.  She is also the oldest member of the Hinta girls.

Aoyama Motoko- "Kendo" as Keitaro called her in the manga for a while.
She's in high school and basically hates all weak men or rather men in
general until...

Kaolla Su- A foriegn exchange student from an unknown country.  She has
boundless amounts of energy and loves cooking spicy food.

Maehara Shinobu- Youngest member of the Hinata, she is one grade below
Kaolla, she is the resident cook and crybaby.  She has the biggest crush on...

Otohime Mutsune- A lovely young lady who despite failing her enterence
exams three times is in fact just as smart if not smarter than Naru.
She also maybe your promised girl.

Noriyasu Seta- A professor at Todai and an archeologist, he gives you your
first job.

Sarah MacDougal- Sort of a step daughter to Seta.  She has the energy
of Kaolla and the mischef of Kitsune which makes for a deadly combo for
Keitaro.

Urashima Haruka- The resident mother of Hinata, she takes care of all
the problems that Keitaro faces.  She also runs the local tea house.

Haitani- One of Keitaro's friends, he is the tall and skinny one.

Shirai- The other of Keitaro's friends, he is the short and heavy one.

Tama-chan- The flying and highly inteligent turtle.

3. Tutorials

When you start up the game you will be meet with four options: Start, Continue,
Reply, and Photo.  Start and Continue are strightforward, Photo shows what
endings you have gotten and reply lets you use an exsisting game file to restart
and watch it as you played it while keeping all your others save spots.

Their are also two screens that occur during game play the most common is
the sub-screen in which all the action takes place.  The sub-screen is the
one that has the text box and where you can see the characters and such.
The other is an over head view and allows you to move about the Hinata-Sou.

--------------Controls--------------

Directional pad- Moves you around the overhead view screen and also allows you
to
select answers.

"A" button- Confirms choice/talk to character

"B" button- Not Used

"R" button- Not Used

"L" button- Not Used

Select- Not Used

Start- Allows you to see the heart ratings for each girl.

-----------Making Decisions------------
Since the game is all about making decisions this is a basic topic.
Many a time the girls of the Hinata will ask you questions, their response
changes to you answer.  When confronted with a choice of decisions a list
appears inside a circular shaped timer as each light brightens the less
time you have (You have until the light makes one complete circle).

-----------HP-----------
Those little golden orbs in the corner of the screen, each represents one HP.
As you get hit, kicked, sword slashed, etc one or more orbs changes color when
their all gone too bad!  You can however gain back HP during the game such as
when you eat something or take a bath and you can also raise your max HP by
making
a right decision when talking to a girl.

----------Heart Points---------
Each girl has a max of eight Heart Points.  They of course represent how much
a girl likes you or dislikes you.  The higher the point total is better when
going out on the "date quest."  Hearts are earned when you make a girl
happy by giving them the right response to a question they ask.  Some girls
naturally like you more than others.

4. Walkthrough
I'm only going to write the responses as to not to give away any of the charm or
humor of the game, however, I will put a * next to the answer that is the best
and quickest way to finish the game.  This will also allow you to date any of
the girls, however, you don't have to follow exactly if you want to impress a
certain girl be my guest of go out of your way to do that.  This is a dating
game after all and some chances are rewarded.

Since each "date" is really an ending in itself I don't want to
give anything away thus I again will only post respones.  Also the
above walkthough of chapters 1-5 are made in a way that you should
have an equal chance with each girl.  Of course you don't have to
follow the walk though exactly you may want to experiment which is great.
This game is made to do that.  Now onto the endings.  Remember these are

1. Story
____________________________________________________

The story of Love Hina is a simple one, Keitaro at a young age
makes a promise with a girl to get into Todai, the most prestigious
college in Japan to get into.  Why?  Because it is said that when two
people who really love each other get into that school they live
happy ever after.  Sadly though that girl moves away soon after
making that promise and Keitaro never sees her again.  Well skip
ahead 15 years later and Keitaro is a three year ronin still trying to
get in but now not only does he forget what she looks like, but also
he forgets her name.  Anyway  now his parents, tried of him failing want
him out, thus he goes to his grandma's old hotel.  While there he finds
out it has become a girls dormitory inhabited by: Naru, Kitsune, Motoko,
Kaolla, and Shinobu (more on them later).  Thinking he is out of luck he
soon hears from his aunt that they need a kanrinin to run the place and
Keitaro decides to take the position after telling the girls that he is
really a Todai student (which he isn't) anyway eventually Naru, one of
the tenents, finds out she trys to keep it a secret because she was sure
that the girls would kick him out if they found out that he lied.
But of course that secret doesn't last long and he is forced to leave
after failing his next entrence exam and being branded a pervert
(which he really isn't trying to be, things just happen).  Well, it turns
out that the girls really want him back (well, most of the girls).  Naru
finds him and brings him back and that is where the story really
begens to take off.

2. Indepth Biographies

*Ages- the first number is their age at the begenning of the manga (volume 1)
the second is their age in volume 11.  Since the majority of them are
two years older, although some are three years older than before,
this is taking in account that some have earlier birthdays than others.
The only exception is Sarah because in volume 9 she is stated to be
nine years old and in volume 11 she is stateded to be 10.  A one year
difference.

Occuapations are listed from oldest to most current.

*NEW AGES- Since reading Volume 14 of the manga I have learned that four years
pass until the real ending, this section of the manga was the epilogue.  So
I've added four years to each character's age.

The main character of the series, branded a pervert and a hopeless three
time ronin by the members of the Hinata, he's the likable kanrinin of Hinata.
He came to Hinata looking just for a place to stay since his parents had been
tired of keeping care of him so long.  But he never thought that he would end
up as the kanrinin of a building houseing five beautiful girls.  Anyway if you
haven't already guessed he is also the guy who is still looking for the
"promised girl" you remember the girl that he promised he get into Todai
with.  Anywho he begens to suspect Naru of being that girl, that is until
he figures out with Naru's help that she was only two when that promise
was made and that their was no way that she could have done anything like
that (hey who knows).  About Naru she and Keitaro have a love hate relationship.
They both love each other very much but Naru is too proud to admit it until much
later in the series and Keitaro is so shy that he has inter conflicts with his
feelings because of the "promise girl."  That and he also has this thing going
on
with Mutsumi on the side.  And it doesn't stop their because Kitsune, Motoko,
Shinobu, Kaolla (sort of), and Kanoko are also fighting for him. Yep, Keitaro's
going to have to make some big decisions later on.

NEW INFORMATION:  After getting back from studying in America, Keitaro becomes
alot
more like Seta.  He's much more collected and cooler overall.  All the Hinata
girls
see this and become even more attracted to him to Naru's dismay.  He has to
battle
with his half-sister Kanoko about her feeling for him and how their misplaced
and
that he's only in love with Naru now.  Despite her trying to run away and the
Hinata Complex Building confession he still loves her more than ever.  In the
last
volume of Love Hina their finally married.

is the oldest of two daughters and is at one point ranked number one in
Japan's student rankings.  She "hates" Keitaro for being stuipd and perverted
and always beats him up even when something isn't his fault but she always
forgives him because she can see the innocence in him.  She is friends with
everyone in the Hinata, but her best friend and oldest friend is Kitsune.
From the begenning you could tell that Keitaro liked her, but because of that
she sometimes likes to be strict on him when it comes to studying because if
she lightens up he'll slack off.  Eventually they "hook-up" and of course by
the end of the series they're a couple.

making is really just careing for those around her.  She loves getting
her way and coning Keitaro out of his money.  She has a great figure and
isn't shy about flanting it.  But this doesn't mean that she's loose just fun
loving.  In fact she used to have a crush on Seta during high school but
didn't go anywhere because Naru was so open about it she didn't want to
hurt their friendship.  So she really caring after all.

kanrinin.  It isn't until Keitaro can prove his worth until Motoko
lightens up and can call him one of her best friends (though she would
never admit it at first).  But it isn't just Keitaro that she disliked in the
begenning it's because he was typical male wanting to destroy a girls
innocence, she basically hated all weak men in the begenning of the series.
Eventually Motoko lightens up to Keitaro and begens to act more like a member
of the Hinata.  She infacts becomes good "friends" with Seta because of his
extrodinary martial art and weapons skill which are better than hers
and they become sparring partners for a while.  And although she would never
admit it she actually loves Keitaro very much.

(No, she is not from India).  Kaolla is also extreamly inteligent, she has
invented Mecha-Tamas, bombs, missles, brain enhancers, virtual reality
simulators, etc.  Despite apperances Kaolla is a very complex girl.  She oftens
fights with her young carefree self and her more responsible serious self
(Adult Su), in the end, however, young carefree Kaolla always wins.  It is
very rare if ever to see Kaolla unhappy.

BIGGEST crush on him than anyone else shows.  Anyway I find that manga
Shinobu and anime Shinobu are very different.  Anime Shinobu is very,
very, shy and always goes along with everyone else.  Manga Shinobu is
much more out going, in one chapter she gets drunk acidentcally of course
and she and Keitaro go to a hotel, manga Shinobu even kisses Keitaro!
Manga Shinobu is better than anime Shinobu even though their story are
pretty much the same.  Both have divorced parents and both are stuggleing
with growing up.  Anyway Shinobu is a fan favorite because lets just face it,
she's the cute anime girl.

Haruka is Keitaro's aunt and the owner of the famed Tea House
of Hinata Onsen. She is also the resident house mother and always
gives good advice to the members of Hinata-sou.  She is a kind, yet,
firm lady who enjoys a good cigerette all the time.  BIG SPOILER before
she worked in Hinata Onsen she was the assistant to Noriyasa Seta and
Sara's mother.  During this time they dated for a while, but when Seta
proclaimed his feelings for her she never answered him.  Thus Seta left
for Sara's mother, while they never married, Sara was already born and
Seta took her in as his own daughter.  Anyway soon after Sara's mother died.
Before that though he had promised Sara's mother and Haruka that when he
turned 30 he would choose between to two to marry.  Well, because Sara's mother
is dead Haruka wins.  When Seta comes back he asks Haruka to marry, Haruka at
first refuses the ring but later tells him that she'll wear it for one day,
after that they kiss and later get married. Anyway Haruka is a interesting
character and another fan favorite.

Mutsumi is another of the Hinata ronins.  The funny thing is
though, is that she is in fact really smart!  The only reason she
failed the Todai entrence exams is because she either fainted or
forgot to put her name on the paper.  Oh yeah, about fainting, she is
very sensitive and can faint on a moments notice or even at one point
she choked on a watermelon seed, how? Well, Mutsumi first appeared when
Keitaro meet her in an exam hall, she fainted and he thought he had
killed her, anyway he ran away but as he left she woke up.  The next
time we see her is when Keitaro and Naru are out on a getaway and they
have to find a way to get her home to Okinawa.  Anyway she too has made
a promise to get into Todai with another boy, however, not Keitaro.
Mutsumi is a really sweet person who alot of the time can act kinda
ditzy, but that the charm about her.  Mutsumi is friends with most everyone
in the Hinata but she hangs out mostly with Naru and Keitaro.  Mutsumi is
a very popular character amoung fans.

While driving a air ship he caused some damages to Haruka's shop or
something.  Anyway now he's working off the money by working for her
in the tea house.  Kentaro seems mean to Keitaro but he really just means
good.  Anyway I personally think Kentaro is one of the funniest characters
(yeah, call me crazy) he's always complaining about his screen time which
I think is funny, an anime character knowing he's in an anime.

it's anime it's filler.  Anywho Mei is not related to Naru by blood,

trys to hook up Keitaro and Mutsumi hoping that Naru will give up and leave.
Anyway after Keitaro comforts her because Naru gets mad at her for deciving
her, they become buddies and everythings good and Naru gets to stay.  She
even encourages the relationship between Keitaro and Naru.

Mistakens Kentaro for Keitaro in her first episode.

BIG OBSERVATION: Now I know I've said that Mei is only found and is for sure
in the anime, but if you look on page 190 and page 179 look closely enough
and you'll find a character that looks exactly like her, right down to the
clothes she's wearing.  Yes, she is only offically in the anime, but you
can't help but wonder.

Kanoko appears in volumes 11-14 of the manga and in Love Hina
Again's three episode run.  She is Keitaro's half sister, thus is not
related to him by blood.  She comes to Hinatasou because she has the
intentions of turning it into the former inn instead of the girls dormitory.
Of course this upsets all the girls because they must start working in the
inn to play for the rent.  However, behind this reason of turning Hinata
into an inn isn't to make more money, but as too kick out all the girls
because she feels threatened that their all in love with Keitaro.  Why
is she threatened?  Well for some reason Kanoko wants to marry Keitaro!!!  Yes,
you heard that right she wants to marry her own brother.  Anyway when Keitaro
comes back from overseas (see Keitaro bio)  things settle down and even
though Kanoko still trys to impress him, she is aware that Naru is the only
one that Keitaro really likes.  Now Kanoko is more like another resident of
Hinatasou and is much more kinder to the residents.  Kanoko in volume 13
finnally accepts Naru as the one for Keitaro.

*NOTE*
The way I look at Kanoko is a really confused girl.  Her romantic love
for her brother is really nasty.  When I read volume 12 of the manga it
was just soooo wrong in soooo many ways.  I'd write about some of the
things she does but their just not right.  The way they wrote her in
the manga was really creepy.  That said if it wasn't for her love of
her brother, she'd be a really enjoyable character.

sometime along the line Moe broke her legs and thus was not able to
walk.  Keitaro's grandfather promised to fix her but never got around
to it.  Later on after his death Keitaro finds her as well and also
promises to help her.  But ofcourse he too forgets for a while and
its not for another 10 or so years that he is able to fix her with
Su's help.  Moe can "talk" to only Keitaro, Naru, and Mutsumi.  Moe
in the end decides to let Naru take the job of looking after Keitaro,
thus Moe "dies" by becomeing a regular doll again.  Moe never appeared
in the manga.

from others just by making contact with them.  In a showdown with Naru
who had been taken over by the spirt, Motoko was able to destroy the

A: Well, a good rule of thumb is that in most cases the manga out classes the
anime, this is no different here.  The manga is 10x better than the anime and
that is amazing since the anime is 10x better than most animes.  In the end
if you read the manga, you'll eventually pick up the anime.

Q: Ok, I got the anime, dub or sub?
A: SUB!!!  Another good rule of thumb is that the Japanese track most always
out classes the English track.  And although their are some anime that manage
to come close or equal Japanese tracks (ex: Cowboy Bebop, Golden Boy) this
is one anime that is 100x better in Japanese.  (Side note, most people think
that the Love Hina dub is one of the worst in anime.)

Just a list of things that I found different in the manga than in the anime.
Their are plenty more so you can e-mail me about ones that you'll found.
I'll use major ones in the FAQ.

1. Keitaro starts out already kicked out of his house.
2. He never meets Shinobu outside of Hinata Onsen
3. Shinobu is already living at Hinatasou in the begenning
4. Motoko is present in the begenning, Keitaro does not meet her outside.
5. Motoko is less man-hating
6. Hina Obasan is already gone
7. Naru finds out that Keitaro is a guy in a much different way :)
8. Their is no Hintasou Tank Division
9. The dream of all the chibi characters happens to Keitaro instead
of Motoko
10. In the dream Kitsune is a bunny girl not a summoner
11. Their is no Sailor Moon transformation of Shinobu
12. The dream is triggered by the girls reading books to Keitaro while
sick.

4. Attack List

We all know that Naru and the gang use alot of attacks to punish Keitaro
and others.  Here is a list of the attacks that I have found in the anime
and manga.  I've probably have left some out but that's because I haven't
watched the anime recently.  I'll be writting mostly with the English names
of the attacks.  Listed with each attack will be the user(s) as well as
a brief description.  Also some attacks I have given my own name since
they have no offical name, these will be marked with a (!) next to them.
If they don't have a (!) next to them then those moves are the offical
names for them in the manga. And so with that, *Mario voice* here we go!

btw, since Tsuruko is basically the teacher of Motoko, chances are that
if her name isn't next to Motoko under an attack, its just that she
has never offically used it in the manga/anime, but chances are that
she tell could in "real life" also many of her moves are second form
so chances are their is a first form that is just never seen.


1. Boulder Cutting Blade
Used by: Motoko, Keitaro
Description: Signature sword strike, can also be a semi-projectile  as well
due to the fact that it creates a gust of wind in the process.  It can
also be used in conjunction with a dash attack.

2. Ni-no-tachi
Used by: Motoko
Description: Looks basically like a super version of her Boulder Cutting
Blade.  Was used in the anime to defeat the spirt that had taken over
Naru's body.

3. Giant Onion Attack (!)
Used by: Nihon Budokan Hall
Description: Not really an attack but it sure as hell hurt Keitaro. What
happened basically was that the giant "onion" dome fell on to Keitaro
breaking his leg.

4. Cutting Evil Strike: Second Form
Used by: Tsuruko, Motoko
Description: An up ward strike leaving a large powerful "energy wave"

of thunder following her sword.

8. Gotcha! Save (!)

Description: A saveing grab of another character that uses bombs as
a distraction.

9. Evil Naru Blade (!)
Used by: Naru (possessed with evil spirt)
Description: Similar to the Thunder Blade.

10. Life Drain (!)
Used by: Naru (possessed with evil spirt)
Description: Evil Naru kisses or touches the opponent which drain
out their life force but doesn't for some reason kill them.

11. Cutting Demon Sword: Second Form
Used by: Motoko
Description: A sword strike that propels the user at the opponent
and delivers a spinning attack.  Can dispel demons/spirts.

12. Double Iron Fist Punch
Used by: Naru, Haruka
Description: A tag team uppercut punch that sends the opponent sky
high of the ground.

13. Pretty Couettish Bomber
Used by: Su, Sarah
Description: A rocket launcher attack that fires scatter rockets in
sets of four, the rockets contain the Molmol eye symbol.

14. Head or Chest Shot (!)
Used by: Haruka
Description: A basic attack which would be pretty bland, except that
they actually show Seta getting shot in the head with a rocket
launcher.  You have to see it to believe it, real funny stuff.

15. Haruka Bombardment (!)
Used by: Haruka
Description: Throws a HUGE bomb right on top of Seta.  When I say
huge I mean it, the bomb must have been three times her size and
about ten times her weight!

16. Hundred Blossom Profusion Strike
Used by: Motoko
Description: A sword strike acompanyed by Cherry Blossom petals.

17. Air Cutting Flash Mystic Strike
Used by: Motoko
Description: Looks like a large energy projectile attack.

18. Death Slash
Used by: Motoko
Description: None, as it was only seen propeling Keitaro through
the roof.

19. Boulder Cutting Master Strike
Used by: Motoko
Description: A suped up Boulder Cutting Blade.

20. Naked Blade Reception
Used by: Keitaro, Tama-chan
Description: Claps hands together to catch a sword strike.

21. Motoko Slash

Description: A slideing slash of the sword.  Because this is
Motoko's own attack, it is unknown if Tsuruko can do it as
well.

22. Artifact Smash (!)

Description: Sarah uses various artifacts to smash/throw at
Keitaro.

23. Jeet Kune Do Horse Kick (!)
Used by: Sarah
Description: A backward thrust kick.

24. Super Kick

Description: Similar to Sarah's JKD Horse Kick, but more powerful.

25. Neck Cracker (!)
Used by: Motoko, Kitsune
Description: You know how in all those spy movies, when the hero wants
to kill silently they snap the opponents neck.  Yeah, this is it.

26. Su/Sarah Throw (!)
Used by: Motoko, Kitsune
Description: They actually throw Su and Sarah at their targets.

27. Sliceing Air Flash Sword Strike
Used by: Motoko
Description: A sword strike that creates a "missile" of air.

28. Scumbag Frying Pan Smash (!)
Used by: Shinobu
Description: One of the few Shinobu speciality moves, she uses her
frying pan as a baseball bat.

29. Laser Eyes
Used by: Mecha Sarah
Description: Looks exactly like you would expect it to, two lasers
shot out of her eyes.

30. Cutting Evil Sword Second Form: Single Flash
Used by: Motoko
Description: An energy slash using both arms to aim/control it.

31. Double Pavement Grinder
Used by: Su, Sarah
Description: A tag team double drop kick.

32. Cutting Air Fist
Used by: Motoko
Description: A projectile attack made by cutting the air with her hands.

33. Urashima Dragon Fang
Used by: Kanako
Description: A projectile attack that creates an energy ball.

34. Proton Packs
Used by: Su, Sarah
Description: You know those Ghostbuster's and those gun packs they use?
Yeah the Proton Packs are like that.

35. Cutting Steel Slash
Used by: Motoko
Description: Basic sword slash but with Motoko own style in it.

36. Cutting Air Spark: Second Form
Used by: Motoko
Description: Sort of like Cutting Air Fist.

37. Dragon's Breath Slash
Used by: Motoko
Description: Powerful overhead strike

38. Tentacle Grope
Used by: Giant Turtle (not Tama-chan, nor a Mecha Tama)
Description: Yeah, its what your thinking.

39. Exorcise

Description: Dispelling spirts from human bodies.

40. Disguse
Used by: Kanako
Description: Not really an attack but her disguses usually are
for sneaking in and then attacking.  She has can disguse her
self as just about anyone.

41. Split Rock Maneuver
Used by: Motoko
Description: Similar if not the same as her Boulder Cutting Blade,
just with a different name.

42. Gods' Cry School Ultimate Strike: Shin Lightning Slash
Used by: Motoko
Description: A suped up Thunder Blade attack.  This move has Motoko
surrounded by lighting.  This may be her strongest attack, as it
blew up the whole upper porch area.

43. Positron Blasts
Used by: Su
Description: A powerful energy blast from her positron cannon.

44. Cutting Evil
Used by: Motoko
Description: A powerful slash attack, it is unknown if it can
exorcise spirts despite its name.

45. Aoyama Confession Blade
Used by: Motoko
Description: Not really an attack but more like a release of
energy.  She uses Keitaro's pencil to parry the incomming attack
and then uses the sword in her other hand to attack.

46. Urashima Binding Technique
Used by: Kanako
Description: A hog tie technique.

47. Total Annihilation Cutting Evil Strike
Used by: Motoko
Description: A sword slash that creates a huge explosion once
the force of her blow hits a solid object.

48. Elephant Pao-Pao Catch
Used by: Su
Description: Similar to the Urashima Binding Technique except that
an elephant binds the opponent.

49. First Strike Attack (!)
Used by: Keitaro
Description: A lungeing punch, if you have played Street Fighter III
its exactly like Yun's/Yang's lungeing punch.

50. Watermelon Bomb (!)
Used by: Mutsumi
Description: A bomb disgused as a harmless watermelon, complete
with fuse.

51. Kanako Punch (!)
Used by: Kanako
Description: A counter punch attack

52. Sumimasen Punch
Used by: Konako (A Street Fighter version of Kanako)
Description: A flat palm strike.

53. Calc Cutter
Used by: Luna (A Street Fighter version of Naru)
Description: A Shoryuken while holding a book in the upper hand.

54. Depth Charges
Used by: Su
Description: They really are soda can with explosives in them.

55. Molmol Torpedoes (!)
Used by: Su
Description: Unlike normal submarine torpedoes, these are hand held
and set off by Su herself instead of a machine.

56. Urashima Falling Leaf Techinque
Used by: Kanako
Description: A rapid kicking move, think Chun-Li.

57. Home-home Missiles (!)
Used by: Su
Description: A homing missile with the Molmol eye symbol on the
tip of the weapon.

58. Air Scattering Fist
Used by: Motoko
Description: Makes a sharp movement with both her hands to produce a
powerful wind.

59. Gods' Cry School Concealed Evil Fist: Second Form
Used by: Motoko
Description: Makes an X shape with her hands and then charges towards
her opponent at which point her hand become like knives and tear through
the opponent.

60. Urashima Reflection Echo
Used by: Kanako
Description: Makes a wave with her hands to defect projectiles.

61. Tama Attack (!)
Used by: Naru
Description: Uses Tama to scare away people afraid of turtles,
that being Motoko.

62. Flash Kick (!)
Used by: Seta
Description: Like Charlie's (Nash's) Flash Kick from Street Fighter Alpha.

63. Fan Slap (!)
Used by: Naru, Mutsumi, Kanako, Haruka
Description: Classic anime attack with paper fan.

4a. Styles List

Their are seven characters in the manga/anime that actually have named
styles that they use when fighting.

Motoko
Style- Gods' Cry Martial Arts w/ Kendo.

Motoko's style uses powerful sword strikes as well as "secret"
martial art techniques.  She always fights to the end even if
it means that she will lose.  She probably has the most fighting
spirt as anyone in the series.  A side note, Motoko tends to
"infuse" her ki into her sword which greatly increases it's power.

Tsuruko
Style- Gods' Cry Martial Arts w/ Kendo, has also displyed ninja-like
abilities.

Tsuruko uses very similar techinques as Motoko but with more
expertise.  Her ninja-like abilites are what seperates her
from Motoko.

Seta
Style- General Kung Fu, weapon training, Jeet Kune Do

Seta's style is very much in the way of Bruce Lee, mostly because
he is trained in Jeet Kune Do.  He uses quick, powerful strikes
and can easily use most, if not all, Kung Fu weapons just as good
if not better than Motoko.

Sarah
Style- Jeet Kune Do

Like Seta she is trained in Jeet Kune Do, however, Sarah tends
to focus on leg attacks rather than using her arms.

Keitaro
Style- General Kung Fu, weapon training, Jeet Kune Do (?)

Uses mostly general Kung Fu, it never actually stated that he
trained in Jeet Kune Do, but you never know.  He tends to use
basic moves, strong, but not flashy.

Kanako
Style- Urashima Jujutsu

Kanako has her own style which tends to mix Motoko's weapon
fighting with her own arm-to-arm combat.  Her style tends to
use unconventional moves such as using her sexuality to
her advantage.

Naru
Style- Basic Kung Fu

Taught by Seta to Naru while he was tutoring her while she was
trying to get into Todai.

If I were to rank them from best to worst it would be:

5. Love Hina Technology

As you know in the universe of Love Hina their are certain techological
advances not known to us in "this" world.  Most of these ideas come from
Kaolla Su, as she is a "genius" in Love Hina.  There are certain things
that have actual purpose and those that are just crazy little inventions
of her's.  Anywho lets get started!

1. Mecha Tama Versions 1-30
Invented by Kaolla Su

Mecha Tamas are the staple of the Love Hina techologies.  Basically
their Gundams in the shape of a giant turtle (i.e. Tama-chan).  Anyway
all of the Mecha Tamas have several similarities such as: guns, missles,
flight abilities, and enhanced speed and power.  Mecha Tama's are used
for a couple purposes, one of course is for defense, and the other is
just to torment Keitaro.

2. Invisiblity Suits
Invented by Kaolla Su

These are computerized suits that a person wears that are constantly
scanning the surrounding area and changeing the suit to match the
environment.  Used mostly for peeking.  They also sport the Mol Mol
Eye symbol.  Worn by Keitaro and Kitsune as they were sneaking into
Naru's room.  It can only make disappear what the suit actually covers.

3. Kiss Kiss Machine
Invented by Kaolla Su

A machine used to practice kissing.  Almost sexual in nature as it
kisses anyone that comes near it or if it locks on a target.  Has
a spinning cherry inside its mouth for extra sitimulation! Almost
perverted in nature.  Has even kissed Motoko.

4. Energy Weapons
Invented by Kaolla Su

Su has invented numerous types of energy based weapons such as lasers,
energy cannons, missles, etc.  See the attack list for more information
on these.  Most of these weapons are sci-fi in nature as they use
technology way out of range of humans.

5. Watermelon Bomb
Invented by Mutsumi (?)

I know I've all ready listed it above in the attack section but seeing
as how unique it is I've decided to list it again.  How did she come up
with such a weapon I wonder!!!

6. Dream Sim VR (Anime)
Invented by Kaolla Su

An invention used to read dreams and project them onto a television
for everyone to watch.  You can also connect two of them together to
create a fantasy world.  Used on both Keitaro and Kentaro.

7. Hinata Tank Squad (Anime)
Invented by Kaolla Su

These are remote controlled tanks that can fire marble like projectiles
at any target.  Was used on Keitaro when he first appeared in Hinata.
All the girls thought he was a pervert and a panty pincer.

8. Mecha Sarah
Invented by Kaolla Su

Was invented to keep Sarah's spirt alive when she decided to stay with
Haruka and Seta.  Mecha Sarah acts just like regular Sarah except for the
fact that Mecha Sarah has laser eyes.

9. Brain Super-Upper
Invented by Kaolla Su

Was invented to increase intelligence by hooking up electric nodes to
the sides of the person sitting in the seat.  So far it only seems to
have been used on Shinobu when she was trying to get into Todai.

How to use make other numbers (i.e. 21, 22, 23, etc)

Japanese numbers are really quite simple.  To make numbers other
than the ones posted you use basic math.  Lets learn how to make
the number 25 for example.

25, for example, what is the number basically made up of?  It's made up of
the numbers 2 (ni) and five (go).  Ah, but it's not really just 2 (ni)
and 5 (go) it's really 20 (niju) and 5 (go) thus we add,

niju + go = nijugo

that's all their really is to Japanese numbers, to make 27 its
niju + nana = nijunana

28

niju + hashi = nijuhashi

Numbers between 10 and 19 are:

ju + whatever number you want

ju + ichi = 11

ju + ni = 12

and so on.

All you need to really remember are the number 1-10 and you'll
be able to count up to 99.  Once you get to 100 it's the same
deal, hyaku (100)

ni + hyaku = 200

ni + hyaku + ni = 202

ni + hyaku + juhashi = 218

Japanese numbers are really quite simple eh?

6b. Name Suffixs

The Japanese have things like Mr/Mrs/Miss, etc but they come after
the name instead of before.  When meeting new people it's usually
a good choice to use -san unless of course you know that their
rank is extreamly high, then you would you -sama.
___________________________________________________________

-san- general name suffix means Mr/Mrs/Miss.

-chan- used usually with girls or very young boys.  Sometimes used by
boyfriends and girlfriends.  Elders usually use it with many people who
are sigificantly younger then them, it wouldn't be unusual to hear a
grandma call their own children or close teenage reletives/friends by -chan.

-kun- used for boys who are not considered young boys but not quite adult men.

-sama- reserved for gods and royality.

-sempai- used by people who are lower in a social structure to someone higher
or more respected.  Basically just a respecting term.  Can be used either by
itself or with a name before it. (Shinobu uses it alot)

Their are a few others that I didn't list but their the above are the most
common that you'll hear.  Maybe later I'll post the others.
