[B] Overview
This is a FAQ on the two MBF Astray Series Gundams i the Gameboy
Advanced Game Kidou Senshi Gundam Seed Destiny. Although these two
Gundams do not have any beneficial special abilities, they are still
unique in that they are variants of the original MBF-M1 Astray Gundam
from the TV series Gundam Seed. The MBF-P02 is Lowe's custom Astray
and the MBF-P01-Re2 is Mina's custom Astray from the Gundam Seed
Astray Side Series. Originally, the MBF-M1 Astray has no phase-shift
armour, but after the modifications by Mina, the MBF-P01-Re2 Gold
Frame Astray has increased armaments and phase-shift armour
capabilities. Similarily, after the modifications by Lowe, the
MBF-P02 Red Frame Astray has increased offense capabilities by the
addition of the Gerbera Straight katana.

[C] The Game
Kidou Senshi Gundam Seed Destiny for the Game Boy Advanced has several
different modes of play: Main Mode, VS Mode, Training Mode, Survival
Mode, Challenge Mode, Time Trial Mode, and Free Battle Mode.

In Main Mode, you fight thirteen to fourteen Gundams in consecutive
battles to gain money to unlock more options or more mobile suits in
the Shop. In VS Mode, you merely fight a friend via another Game Boy
Advanced Console. In Training Mode, you can practice annhilating
other Gundams on dummy computers that have a replenishing life bar
and phase shift bar. You should use this mode to practice combos. In
Survival Mode, you try to last your longest as you fight Gundam after
Gundam while only replenishing a certain amount of life and phase
shift after each successful battle. You will also gain money for use
in the Shop when you die (the amount depends on how many opponents you
defeat) In Challenge Mode, the computer teaches you combos with each
Gundam. If you are really a combo freak, you should practice in this
mode alot as you will learn many new tricks and moves. In Time
Trial Mode, you are timed on how fast you defeat a series of Gundams
and depending on your time you will gain money for use in the Shop.
Finally, in Free Battle Mode, you simply fight against the computer
for practice (much like Training Mode, except the computer's life
doesn't replenish).

Comments: This Gundam is very unique in that it has the
ability to absorb health from the opponent Mobile
Suit to recover any lost health points in its own
health bar via its main weapon Maga-no-Ikutachi.
Henceforth, this Gundam is extremely deadly in
close-ranged combat.
Long Range Attacks:
1. Button (A) - Fires Lancer Darts from the Trikeros
offense/defense system sideways
2. Button (Down) + (A) - Fires Lancer Darts from the
Trikeros offense/defense system
upwards (sprays down afterwards)
3. Button (Forward) + (A) - Fires 50mm high-energy beam
rifle from the Trikeros
offense/defense system
Short Range Attacks:
4. Button (B) - Swings Maga-no-Ikutachi grappling claw
5. Button (Forward) + (B) - Maga-no-Ikutachi grappling

6. Button (Backwards) + (B) - Jumps and spins forward
with the Maga-no-Ikutachi

7. Button (Down) + (B) in the air - Spins downwards with
the Maga-no-Ikutachi

the Maga-no-Ikutachi

9. Button (Down) + (L) in the air - Damages and stuns
the opponent Mobile
Suit using the
Magashira-no-Hoko
spears.
10. Button (L) + (Forward) - Absorbs health from the
opponent Mobile Suit using
the Maga-no-Ikutachi grappling

11. Button (L) - Phases in and out of the same spot using
the Mirrage Colloid system.
12. Button (L) + (Forward) - Phases in and out to the
left or right of the opponent
