2. Introduction
=============================================================================
Ummm yea, my name is Robert, or Emery0083, whatever. I just needed something
to do and at the time I was playing this game. I hope this helps some people
out there. Umm other then that this is my first FAQ, so any flaming or crap
like that is not needed. Oh and also, I hate e-mails so don't e-mail me.
=============================================================================
3. Controls
=============================================================================
As with all games there are controls. Since I guess your gonna be looking
at this FAQ for info I guess I can provide more then just the cars and
tuning.
D-Pad - Directional pad. For those who have lived in a whole for the last
like 20 years, the d-pad is the plus looking thing on the left of
the GBA.
Start - Start button. Used to start and pause the game.
Select - Select button. I do not know if this does anything at all in the
game.
A Button - In menu screens this button is the OK. While driving this is the
gas.
B Button - In menu screens this button is the BACK. While driving this is
the brake.
Left - Top left button on the GBA. Only used if you drive a MT car.
This shifts down in gears.
Right - Top right button on the GBA. Only used if you drive a MT car.
This shifts up in gears.

4. Driving Tips
=============================================================================
If you haven't figured it out yet, driving is the important part of this
game. And if that wasn't obvious you should be dragged from your bed at
night, beaten, then tied to some train tracks and left for dead because your
so retarded you will only do this world more harm. Now that that is out of
the way, on to the tips. Mostly I just have tips about cornering since there
is no real reason to comment on straigh aways. Corners will be described by
the color in which the sign flashes on the screen.
[General]
When starting out try to keep your car revved just above the red line.
This will ensure faster take offs.
Stay on the track, getting off the 'beaten path' will only slow you down
and in some cases stop you completely.
Hitting objects such as trees, cars, and signs will slow you down and
as before can sometimes stop you completely.
[Taking Corners (AT)]
Blue corners pose no real threat at all, just blow around them.
Yellow corners are not difficult either. Though when going around one
it would be smart to let off the gas for just a bit.
Orange corners can be difficult. These require a bit more finess. Hold
the gas and drift your way around the corner, more then likely you
will need to hit the brake some in the middle of the turn to keep
better traction.
Dark orange corners are the hardest. These are mostly hairpin turns.
What you need to do is brake about two car lengths before you get to the
red and white striped borders on the corner. The you need to start
drifting your car alternating between gas and brake.
[Taking Corners (MT)]
Blue corners pose no real threat when driving a MT car either.
Yellow corners are not difficult in MT either. Just follow the same
instructions for AT cars.
Orange corners need a bit more in MT. While still holding the gas
your car will begin to drift its way around the corner. Near the
middle of the corner you will need to hit the brakes some and shift
down one gear. Re-apply the gas and brake as needed to straighten
out and keep traction. When you feel comfortable and are out of the
drifting shift back up when needed.
Dark orange corners are the hardest. You will need to brake around
three car lengths before the corner and drop one gear. Now drift
around the corner holding the gas. In mid-corner again hit the brake
and drop a gear if needed. Straighten out your car and if you can
go up one gear. Continue through the corner and you got it.
(Notes: Drifting is the same thing as 'power sliding' or 'fish tailing'
around the corner. These tips serve as a basis and are assuming
the driver is on a day course with fair weather. Weather affects,
noted in the next section, have different afects on driving. Also
if you do not agree with what I say about going around corners well
then I dunno. These are the ways I drive and they work well for me.
Others might not be able to pull it off and need to go with another
style. This is up tot he individual driver.)
=============================================================================
5. Weather/Time Of Day
=============================================================================
Time of day and weather can pose to be a big annoyance for the driver. Day
time driving in fair wether are the optimum conditions the game has to
offer. However sometimes the player must navigate courses at night or in
the rain. This sections hopes to put to rest any fears you might have of
these changes in the game.
[Time Of Day]
Noon
Noon is that time of day where western shodowns occour. You know sun in
its peak just after rising but just before setting. This has no affects
on your driving just the lighting and setting. This is the initial
setting for all your circuit races.
Evening
Just before the sun completely sets and all the weirdos come out to car
jack you and run off with your Daihatsu middget II. -_- Again this has
no affect on your driving just the lighting is a bit darker and the sky
is orange. This is the second setting for all races.
Night
No you've done it. You're driving out past curfew again. This is the
most annoying time of day. Why you ask? Because when driving at night
your headlights look more like strobes as they flash brightly on your
screen. And it isnt just the headlights, oh no no no, the street lamps
decide they need to get in on the fun as well. Other then flashin strobe
lights all in your face this time of day doesn't have any affect on your
car as well, granted you do not have a seisure. Regular GBA players might
not have a problem with this but those with after burners installed should
find this quite annoying. This is the initial setting for all your city
racing.
[Weather]
Fine
You know those days you wake up and the birds sing and then your all like
damn I do not want to go to school. Well if the noon setting is on that
is what it is gonna be like racing in fine weather. This has no negative
affect on your driving at all. Initial setting for most races.
Cloudy
Ummm, you know those days where youwake up and your so depressed and
everything seems dark and gray cause your life is in shambles then you
realize it is just because its cloudy outside...Yea that's this. No
negative affects of any kind that I see. Sky turns grey thats about it.
This is the initial setting on a few races.
Rain
This is the ONLY thing in the game other then tuning and your car that
affects your traction. You slip you slide and you spin out. This affect
really sucks. You'll know it is raining cause (a) the sky will be dark
and (b) there will be little lines droping from the top of the GBA
screen to the bottom of it. Have fun with this one on those city course.
This is the initial setting for a few races.

(Notes: All parts were tested on Toyota Celica, if other cars react
differently I do not know I have not tested it. If they do and
you know good for you, go write a FAQ about it. Also numbers do
not stack. IE Light Tune, Middle Tune, and Full tune do not go
2+4+6 = 12, instead Light Tune adds +2 to your base max speed,
Middle adds +2 more, and Full adds +2 more to your current max
speed. Same goes for the rest of the three stage tuning one stages
do not count.)
[Max tuning adds +8 to handling, +14 to max speed, and +5 to acceleration.]

8. Best/Worst Cars
=============================================================================
Here are the best and worst cars of the three stats. The stats represent the
car with full tuning. Some cars might tie with others in the specific stat
but their overall stats are what make them the better car. I personally play
with the Nissan Fairlady Z Z33 because it has great all around stats. But you
can use whatever you want. I mean, it isn't like I am standing behind you
with a cattle prod making you chose a certain car. o_O

These are the easiest ways to get everything. These are the ways I got all
my cars and tuning equipment and these are how I got the info to write this
FAQ. All codes must be entered at the Press Start screen. If done correctly
you will hear a ring or ding sound...I honestly cannot tell the difference,
but you will know when it happens.
Have all Tuning Part - Hold L & B and press Up
Unlock 3 Extra mode - Hold L & B and press Down
(KART, WIRE FRAME, RADI-CON) and add 3 collected Cars

Well I guess the real thanks goes to god for giving me this damn insomnia so
I could be up till 5:30 am writing this FAQ. And I guess you could thank the
artist to who's music I listened to while writing this AND Comedy central for
playing funny movies all night. And ummm myself just cause I can.
Other then the credits to the game makers and what not, credit for
this FAQ should be given to me, Emery0083. I totally do not take any
credit for ANYTHING in the game or about it. I'd like to think ATesta for
his help with the format of the FAQ, TheWhy for use of his format on the
car list thingy mabob, and dandymo8706 for the legit info on earning cars.

14. Conclusion
=============================================================================
This is the end. This FAQ is done. If there are mispellings then you know
whatever, I dont care, I know they are not so bad you cannot tell what I am
trying to say. Plus if the model number says S and it is supposed to be an
8, or vice versa, then blame that one my poor eyesite and the small ass
screen of the GBA. Other then that I dunno. Don't e-mail me for anything,
if you need to say something IM me on AOL. (Emery0083)
