Gadget racers, is a game where you race around in tiny, little, Rc cars. One
Main feature about this game is that you can buy and sell parts for your racer
making your car run better, faster and easier than before. This game is very
interesting and is one of those games that you can play for a long time. NOTE:
all maps are similar to what the real race looks like, it is NOT dead on.

Once you start this game up, There will be a message saying: Do NOT remove the
Game Pak when the power is turned on. Stored game data may be damaged. (in case
you couldn't read it). Then it will go through all the game makers, etc. then
the cinematics will start. When you get to the main menu and press start, there
will be 5 options to pick from:
New Game (starts a new game)
Continue Game (continue a game that you have saved)
Quick Race! (quickly starts a race for you)
Link-Play (Link up with a friend to play against each other)
Options (change your name)
Most of the walkthorugh will be about racing, so as you might have guessed,
choose New Game.

The first thing you will need to do is to choose a name. The name does little
to the game, and you should probably just enter your own name. Once you have
finished putting in your name, you will choose a racer. these are merely body's
and don't effect the car's stats. Racer #1 is a yellow car with a black top.
Racer #2 is a white, truckish kind of vehicle. Racer #3 looks to be a police
vehicle, it is also white. Racer #4 Is red, Looks like a sportscar. Racer #5
is a blue car, kind of a cross between #1 and #2. Racer #6 looks like an
ambulance, it's white and looks like a van.
Once you've chosen the car you want, Press New game, and press Circuit Area.
You'll notice there are 4 ??? symbol's, Don't worry about those right now. Now
a tutorial will tell you about how you will win money for coming in the top
three spots, press a to continue.
This is the main Area of where you will be racing, The building with a Q on it
is the store, go there to buy/sell stuff. The globe takes you back to the
screen where you choose the Circuit Area. Press the R icon to race, The numbers
on previous races, are the places you came in. The garage is where you go to
equip your racer, and Collection is your collection of parts.Since you can't
buy or sell item's yet. click on the R symbol and press ENTRY.

Since this is the first race, it should be simple. Try your hardest not to run
into the back of other racers, and keep to the inside track. When you hit the
railroad tracks, your racer should slow down, not much but you might want to
know about that. Once the race is over, it will tell you the results like this:

any flashing number's mean that you have set a new record.
After the results page, there will be a page for the course records. they go

garbage truck. the garbage truck has a blue back and white front.
Now it will tell you the money you won, the money works like this:

Since this race is fairly easy, you should probably do it a couple of times, to
earn some cash to spend at the store. once you are ready to continue, go to the

This race is a simple one as well, don't run into the back of any of the guys,
and before you turn, try to be close to the turn. also, for sharp turns, start
turning before you have to, this will increase the chance of staying closer to
the turn, making them a little less painful.
If you placed in first you should get a new body for your racer. You may notice
that after the second race, there will be a large red "!" on the square. this
is an event square, press it.

The first time I looked at this course, I was confused. If you are looking at
this course and saying? how the.. Then I suggest you look at the course by
using the "Course Check" Function.
The thing about this course is that, it has lots of sharp turns. It would help
if you bought the new steering wheel. If you are faced with a sharp corner than
try to start turning before the turn, making the turn easier. again try not to
bump into the back of any other racers. On the zig-zag turn, the racers will
go offroad, this is where you will gain the most distance between you. This is
how you should do the turn:

The problem with this turn is that, most likely you will lose a lot of speed,
either by going offroad or by stopping too soon. I feel it is much better to
be slow on the road than to be slow off the road. There is no perfect way to do
this turn, just tweak it as neccesary.

Right or up arrows= which way the race is going.
S= the section that isn't included in this turn (in fact I don't think you see
it at all in this race).
There is another turn right after the turn shown above, the reason I didn't
show this is because you should be going slow enough that this turn isn't a
major problem.
Again these types of turn's are common, and you should learn to master these
types of turns. I think the point of the bulges might be to intimidate the
player more than anything. also if you can, try to press brake and right at the
same time, this will cause your racer to slow down a lot faster. If you see a
section with a lot of white lines on it, chances are that that area is going to
narrow to a smaller path. Remember not to run into the back of other racers.
and hug the turns.
Congrats you got NormlOil(k this prize kinda sux, but you had to complete this
race anyway) and 280g. you also opened up an event and a new championship race.

A: No, actually turning doesn't affect your speed in this game.
Q: Does the body affect my speed?
A: No, The body you choose doesn't affect how fast you can go, it merely is
used for looks.
Q: I've followed your directions, but I still can't win the race.
A: My directions do not guarentee a victory, they are simply tips. Try
upgrading more, or try reading notes under other races with similar problems
(Ie. if you are having problem's with a turn read up on other races with
similar turn's) chances are, it will help you.
