You will find the walkthrough for the entire game in the sections below.
Before you even start the game, you are given the option to try a tutorial. I
recommend doing this to get a good feel for the game. It's also important
because you get an upgrade to your Omega Factor [Dr. O'Shay] just for doing the
tutorial. If you skip the tutorial, then you don't get the upgrade.
It's your choice where to spend the upgrade, but I used it on my punches.

(D-01) BIRTH - 1-1 - METRO CITY
###############################################################################
Destroy the group of enemies and fight some bees up ahead, then fight 3
different pairs of enemies. Attack another pair and some flying enemies, then
destroy some turrets. Grab the heart and go right to the next part.
###############################################################################
(D-02) BIRTH - 1-2 - WORLD FEDERAL BUILDING
###############################################################################
Jump the cars and beat the traffic light to get rid of them. Use your jets to
get to the third row of windows and use your finger laser to destroy them all.
Watch as Alejo pops out of one of the windows, then go talk to him for an
Omega Factor upgrade [I chose laser].
Head right and kill some enemies on the ground and in the air, then beat up
some smaller bees. Kill more enemies on land and air before fighting some
large bees, then use your arm cannon to take out a row of large turrets. Head
right and punch some large enemies, then take the heart and go to the next
stage.

(D-03) BIRTH - 1-3 - WAREHOUSE BATTLE
###############################################################################
Use kicks to knock the large enemies into each other before finishing them with
punches. Repeat this as you climb to the top, then use your arm cannon as
needed. Head right at the top to the next stage.

(D-04) BIRTH - 1-4 - SPIDER ROBOT
###############################################################################
Attack the spiders until an alarm sounds, then watch as a large spider appears.

Boss: Spider Robot
------------------
Your arm cannon is more effective than your machine gun here, so jump up and
use it if you can.
The boss spits a spreading wave of shots down at you, so don't wait underneath
him for long. He also shoots a different sort of spread shot up that comes
back down and lands beside him.
Use jumping punches on him after either of these types of attacks, then drain
his health meter to finish him off.
Head right after the fight to meet up with Wato Chiyoko to get an upgrade from
her [I chose laser] and start the next stage.

(D-05) BIRTH - 1-5 - MAGNAMITE
###############################################################################
This boss fires a beam from it's mouth at times, which is easily avoided if you
stay on the ground, or anywhere behind, under or on top of him. He likes to
raise his arm and swing it at you after it glows, so watch for this and keep
away.
The boss's grey midsection is the spot that you want to focus your attacks on.
You can jump on his back and attack, use your arm cannon if you have any, and
also use jumping punches.
Once you get the boss down to his last three units of health he jumps high in
the air and tries to land right on top of you. KEEP MOVING and you should be
fine [don't wait on top of him when he jumps up high, or you will take damage],
then sneak in 1-3 punches after each landing.
Repeat this until the boss is destroyed to finish the stage.
###############################################################################
(D-06) BIRTH - 2-1 - X POINT, PACIFIC OCEAN
###############################################################################
This is your first shooting stage and it has you using your finger laser as
your main attack [though you can use your machine gun or arm cannon if you
need to].

Part 01
-------
Shoot a wave of red enemies up top and a second wave below, then deal with 2
black waves that cross in the middle. A green wave appears above and a
second one below, then it's two black waves that come from behind and cross in
the middle.
Now it's two black "V" formations as some fish jump and shoot at you. Use your
arm cannon to make short work of the large green enemy up ahead, but watch for
it's large group of shots. Shoot through another pair of black V's, then shoot
some flying and jumping fish [that either attack you with 3-way spread shots or
single shots].
Shoot some bees and mines here and watch for the mines' 8-way shots when they
explode. Some purple fish that shoot spines are next, and then a large bee
boss.

Boss: Bee
---------
This boss has a constant stream of purple shots that you really need to watch
for. He also fires red shots in bursts of 1-3 shots at a time. Use your
finger laser until you need to move away from the boss, then use your arm
cannon to drain some more health.
Once you've drained about half of the boss's health, his pattern changes. He
now flies towards you at the top part of the screen, while firing a series of
red shots at you. Fly right under him when this happens, then quickly fly up
as he comes back onto the screen. He rises while firing a trio of spines, then
lets loose an 8-way spread of pink shots before his pattern repeats.
It's easiest to hit him as he rises, when he's returned from the left side of
the screen, but use your arm cannon to make things easier.

Part 02
-------
Shoot dual waves of green enemies and a large triangular group of black
enemies, then deal with dual waves of red fish that curve back and shoot you.
Another black triangular mass followed by jumping blue shooting fish, then the
next boss appears.

(D-07) BIRTH - 2-2 - ARTIFICIAL SUN
###############################################################################
The first part of this battle is easy, but can take some time. The boss rises
up and falls whichever side you happen to be on, then he starts chasing you
either clockwise or counter-clockwise around the screen.
Simply fly away from him in the same direction and hold down "B" to constantly
fire your finger laser. Repeat this until you drain the first 3 units of
energy from the boss, then he shrinks down in size and grows 8 tentacles.
At this point he still simply flies around the screen in a circle, but now you
have to watch out for his tentacles. Keep shooting him with your finger laser
and HOLD BACK on your arm cannon for now. The boss grows slowly bigger as you
damage him, but the arm cannon causes him to grow much faster so don't use it
[if you have to use a special move, use your machine gun].
It's worth mentioning that you can use your dash to go THROUGH a tentacle and
stop in the next gap between tentacles. This becomes more helpful as the boss
grows in size.
Keep avoiding the growing boss by hiding in the gaps between his tentacles.
Continue to use your finger laser until the boss explodes [you MIGHT be able
to get away with an arm cannon shot or EX dash at about 2 units of health or
less], which ends this stage.

(D-08) BIRTH - 2-3 - CRUCIFORM ISLAND
###############################################################################

Part 01
-------
Head right and talk to Pook to start a battle.
-------------------
Boss: Amazing Three
-------------------
This boss simply bounces around the screen at an angle. Although it is
possible to land punches without taking damage, it's easier to use your finger
laser. If you can hit the boss with your arm cannon, then it helps quite a bit
too.
After the battle, the Amazing Three get added to your Omega Factor and you get
an upgrade [I chose jets]. Walk right from here to enter an indoor area and
reach the next part of the stage.

Part 02
-------
This whole area is dark with a small light around you, if you didn't upgrade
your sensors yet [it's not that bad though].
Jump to the heart floating above you and walk right, then fall into the gap and
head left. Beat up a pair of bats and drop down some more, then go right to
meet with Rainbow Parakeet. Rainbow Parakeet gets added to your Omega Factor
and gives you an upgrade [I chose sensor].
Jump back up a ledge and fight your way through a trio of bats while dropping
down another level. Jump OVER the water [since it damages you] and beat
another bat, then use your jets to get over the wall. Hug the left wall as you
fall, to miss some more water. Attack the bats and talk to Wally Kisagari on
your left. Wally Kisagari gets added to your Omega Factor and gives you an
upgrade [I chose laser].
Smash the statue to the left of Wally and climb all the way back up to the top
floor of this area. Once up here, you should go right to the next part of the
stage.

Boss: Big X
-----------
This boss teleports on either side of you and attacks with a punch or two. You
can easily walk or dash away from him if you need to dodge these punches, but
it's much more effective to launch into a combo of your own before he can touch
you. If you stand right up against either edge of the screen, then he is
forced to appear on the other side of you.
After draining the first 4 units of his health, the boss grows a bit larger and
the fight continues. This time you should dash towards him when he punches [so
you are immune to it briefly], then do your combos like usual. Repeat this to
drain the last of the boss's health and finish the fight.
You get Big X on your Omega Factor after the battle, which also means another
upgrade [I chose jets]. Return to the previous area on your left and drop
through the passage in the bottom right corner [it's open because you smashed
the statue by Wally earlier].
###############################################################################
(D-09) BIRTH - 2-4 - DREADFUL ROBOTS V3
###############################################################################
Head right to meet the first V3 robot. It will wither walk towards you with
spinning punches, or jump and try to land on top of you. In either case
dashing is the best way to avoid either attack. Counter with the finger laser
if you want to play it safe, but use whatever works for you.
Head right as 4 more V3s jump down and dash away from them so that they don't
land on you. Use your arm cannon if you want to make it MUCH easier to get rid
of the 4 of them. Finish the job with your finger laser and grab the heart on
your right, then continue to the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-10) BIRTH - 2-5 - THE ELEVATOR
###############################################################################
Beat up the large bats and bees as you ride the elevator here. Kick the
enemies to have a much easier time with them and specifically you want to kick
them right within the first few seconds of this part. Once you knock them into
the right spot or use your finger laser there [this spot is the third dark spot
between the green light sections in the background], you will find Ambassador
Magma. Magma gets added to your Omega Factor and you get an upgrade [I chose
laser].
Attack the pair of V3s when you reach the bottom, then grab the heart on your
left and go right to the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-11) BIRTH - 2-6 - TRANSFORMABLE ROBOT "POOK"
###############################################################################
This boss can shape-shift and take on one of four different forms. Depending
on the form, the strategy is different. Personally, I found the arm cannon
worked wonders, but use whichever special move works for you.
Monkey Form - The boss attacks with his tail and either swings it low along the
ground or up at an angle. With the low attack he can grip the wall to pull
himself closer. If you can get the boss close to a wall, then you can easily
use your finger laser from the opposite wall. Otherwise you want to jump into
the air to get the boss to attack high, then jet straight down and quickly use
the finger laser. Repeat this pattern until the boss changes form.
Shark Form - In this form the boss either appears with his fin sticking out of
the ground or a small ripple. When it's the fin, the boss moves back and forth
quickly. When it's a ripple, the boss moves slower and jumps up and down as he
moves. It is possible to land a few punch combos if the boss is moving slower,
but generally you want to use the finger laser to drive him to his next form.
Lion Form - The lion cannot be hurt when he is glowing green, but he jumps
towards you to attack. Just jump or dash over him and use the finger laser
from a distance to get him to transform.
Bird Form - The bird dives at you, or shoots a group of fireballs. When he
launches feathers up into the air, they come back down again on fire. you want
to jump the dive attacks and use jets for any of them really. Jumping punches
or finger lasers work best to drain the boss's health.
Once you've beaten the boss, you get to talk to Pook for a bit. Pook gets
added to your Omega Factor and you get an upgrade as the stage ends [I chose
jets].
###############################################################################
(D-12) BIRTH - 3-1 - TOKUGAWA PLANT ON THE MOON
###############################################################################
Take out the flying enemies and go right until you see large blocks on the
floor and ceiling. Jet all the way to the top of the screen outside and attack
the second-highest block. Enter the hole that you created to meet with Jetter
Mars. This gets Jetter Mars added to your Omega Factor and gives you an
upgrade [I chose laser].
Drop back down to the ground and attack enemies on both sides of you, then jump
and jet up the shaft while fighting off large enemies. Jet to the top of the
shaft and take the heart, then smash some turrets and drop down on your right.
Attack a few more turrets and some large ones as you continue right, then fight
enemies and turrets both large and small.
Fall down a shaft for a heart after all of this and go right for a boss fight.
###############################################################################
(D-13) BIRTH - 3-2 - GOBLIN ROBOID
###############################################################################
This boss either brings his sword back over his head before swinging them down
on you, or he leans back before charging at you with a low swing. Either way
you should start the fight with your arm cannon, then use the finger laser at a
distance and jet through him before he charges. Repeat this, one shot at a
time until he's toast, then go right to the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-14) BIRTH - 3-3 - POWER PLANT REACTOR
###############################################################################
Drop down the shaft and head right to a more open section, then jump on TOP of
the platform directly above you [the one with plasma on the bottom]. Attack
the background on this platform to talk with Fumoon a bit. Fumoon gets added
to your Omega Factor and you get an upgrade [I chose punch].
Drop left and dash across the plasma, while being sure to cancel your dash with
"A" so that you land on the safe spots between the plasma. Jump over the wall
and jet up, then head right and beat up some bats. Continue up and watch for a
pair of large diagonal lasers, then beat up more bats among some pistons.
Pass a trio of lasers and take the heart, then drop down the shaft and go right
to the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-15) BIRTH - 3-4 - OBSERVATION DECK
###############################################################################
Attack the group of small enemies and a bunch of large ones as you work your
way right. After killing the purple enemies and leaving this narrow tunnel,
you want to jump left to meet with Hecate. This adds Hecate to your Omega
Factor and gives you another upgrade [I chose life]. Now you can go back right
to start a boss battle.
###############################################################################
(D-16) BIRTH - 3-5 - ASTRO VS. ATLAS
###############################################################################
When the boss leans back and the barrel of his gun extends, he fires a fat
laser beam. So be sure to jet above or below the laser to avoid it. When he
pulls his fist back then he flies towards you with a flashing punch [he
doesn't take damage while doing this attack]. You want to hit him with your
finger laser until you've knocked off his first 3 units of health.
At this point the boss changes from doing one punch attack, to three in a row
[so use your jets]. Knock off two more units of his health to trigger another
pattern change.
Now the boss constantly has a blue beam shooting straight down, so don't get
caught under him. The boss no longer uses his gun attack, he just sticks to
using two punches in a row. After you drain another unit of his health, the
blue beam starts rotating counter-clockwise [this is a good time to use your
arm cannon]. Keep circling around him and using your finger laser, and jet out
of the way as needed until you beat him.
###############################################################################
(D-17) BIRTH - 4-1 - ANTARCTIC PRESIDENT
###############################################################################
Rag gets added to your Omega Factor at the start of this stage, which means
another upgrade [I chose laser]. Head left and kill 2 groups of enemies, then
rescue Nuka by attacking a third group.
###############################################################################
(D-18) BIRTH - 4-2 - ABOVE THE ANTARCTIC OCEAN
###############################################################################
Fly left while using your finger laser on all the flying enemies. They have
slow moving green shots and some lasers as well, but both are pretty easily
avoided. You can attack the actual enemies or their platforms, either one will
work.

Boss: Black Looks Swordsman
---------------------------
This boss is like a larger version of the enemies that you faced in this stage.
His platform fires heat-seeking missiles constantly and he launches a
horizontal wave while trying to get closer to you.
Keep your finger laser on him [or his platform] and use your arm cannon to
speed things up a bit. After the battle, it's on to the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-19) BIRTH - 4-3 - FOLLOW CARABS!
###############################################################################
Shoot two waves of enemies up high and down low, then weave between the green
spikes while shooting a few enemies. Destroy a circle of mines next and watch
for green enemies on all sides. Dual waves of red enemies approaching from
behind are next, then a few more enemies and dual waves appear.
Dodge the bouncing red spikes and some more green ones, then watch out for red
spikes bouncing from the left. Destroy a group of enemies and a pair of mines
next and watch for a wall of enemies coming from behind as the next boss
appears.
------------------------
Boss: Black Looks Gunman
------------------------
This boss fires a heat-seeking missiles, 2 at a time from his platform and
shoots lasers at you himself. The lasers can be dodged quite easily by moving
in closer as they fire, but just keep using your finger laser like before.
Grab the floating heart after the battle to start another fight.
###############################################################################
(D-20) BIRTH - 4-4 - ROBOT TANK CARABS!
###############################################################################
This boss is quite large and you don't want to touch him, just like any other
boss. He's slowly moving backwards into you as he fires some small green shots
back If you move up a little you can hit him with your finger laser [the arm
cannon helps out in this battle too], but you want to jet down under him and
right to get up front before he gets too close to you.
Once up here, the boss fires blue lasers from his eyes that are very hard to
dodge without using your jets. Fire your laser from down low and slowly move
up until you have to dodge, then jet up past the lasers and keep firing. Jet
down and back left under the boss when he gets too close, then repeat this
until you've depleted his first 3 units of health.
The boss now fires a 4-way curving stream of green shots [that's actually
dodged fairly easily] and some slightly faster blue lasers when you're up
front. Keep attacking him with the same strategy to finish the battle and the
stage.
###############################################################################
(D-21) BIRTH - 5-1 - DEADCROSS ESCAPES
###############################################################################
Destroy a group of enemies and second group of all sizes [kicks work well],
then attack a normal third group. Kill some large enemies up ahead to get the
Black Looks on your Omega Factor. This get you another upgrade [I chose
laser], then go right to the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-22) BIRTH - 5-2 - MARINE EXPRESS, ANTARCTIC STATION
###############################################################################
Go left for a moment and smash the garbage can, then talk to Kennedy to get him
on your Omega Factor and give you an upgrade [I chose jets].
Head right and kill two groups of enemies to reach the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-23) BIRTH - 5-3 - MARINE EXPRESS, RUINS
###############################################################################
Attack a larger enemy and waves from above and below, then a trio of enemies
coming fast from the right and another trio coming slow from the left. A group
of enemies attacks with a pair of mines, then stay away from the left edge of
the screen.
Enemies creep from the left while you fight off some larger ones, then you
dodge spikes while shooting a group of enemies. Watch the shots of the next
group and beware of enemies rushing from the left, then fight off a pair of
large enemies.
Shoot through circling mines and other enemies, then deal with more mines and
some platform enemies. Shoot a trio of large platform enemies to reach the
boss up ahead.

Boss: Marine Express
--------------------
This boss has three targets when you start the fight. A row of green lights
near the top, a red light just below here and a green light near the bottom.
You need to destroy all three of these targets to get a fourth one to appear.
Before this happens, you need to deal with spreading rings of shots, streams of
shots and lasers. Start with the lowest target first since it's the most
annoying, and stay back to weave between the rings more easily.
Go for the top target next, and finish things up by destroying the middle
target [the red light].
Now the boss opens up a compartment on the bottom to reveal a gun. This gun
fires heat-seeking missiles, streams of shots, dual lasers or spreading rings
of shots.
Stay far back for the rings, like before and steer clear of the lasers. The
missiles are dodged pretty easily and the streams of shots are even easier to
dodge. You can land hits real easy when the boss is using the streams.
After the battle is over, the next stage begins.

(D-24) BIRTH - 5-4 - MARINE EXPRESS, INSIDE

Fight a trio of enemies as you go right and drop into the cars below, then go
left for a heart. Head right and destroy a group of enemies, then continue
right and kill another group. Meet with Wally just ahead and grab the heart,
then head right for a boss battle.

Boss: Deadcross & Roboid
------------------------
This boss is very annoying since you have two bosses to deal with, but that
can't be helped.
The roboid fights like the one that you fought in stage 3-2, and Deadcross
simply swings his sword and sends waves along the ground towards you. The
roboid just makes the fight a pain, but you want to concentrate your attacks on
Deadcross.
Try to jet over or through them both and use a finger laser, then repeat
before either one can hit you. Use your arm cannon on Deadcross whenever you
can, and drain his health quickly to get rid of the roboid. You can use your
finger laser, punch combos, or arm cannon to finish off Deadcross, just be sure
to jet past his attacks.
After the battle you get Deadcross on your Omega Factor, in addition to an
upgrade [I chose punch].

(D-25) BIRTH - 6-1 - SAPPHIRE'S CASTLE
###############################################################################
Attack these shield enemies from behind [jet if needed] when they raise their
shields. Kill two groups [try kicking one into the rest to make things easier]
and go right, then fight off a trio of stone heads. Use punches or your finger
laser from the air, otherwise these enemies won't take any damage.
Go right and destroy some stone heads and shield enemies [a jumping arm cannon
shot helps make short work of the heads], then go right to the next stage.

(D-26) BIRTH - 6-2 - LEGENDARY MU CIVILIZATION
###############################################################################
Fight off a group of large shield enemies and use your jets [it takes about 4
jets, though you can use your EX dash] to take you straight up from the left
side of he screen. Land on the platform up here and smash the statue, then
talk to Unico as he gets added to your Omega Factor, giving you an upgrade [I
chose punch].
Drop down and kill a pair of stone heads on your right, then keep right and
attack a group of small shield enemies. Kill some large ones farther right and
some large stone heads just beyond. Bombard the heads with finger lasers and
maybe an arm cannon shot from the air, then take the heart and go right to the
next stage.

(D-27) BIRTH - 6-3 - GREAT PYRAMID
###############################################################################
Use your jets diagonally to get past the wheels and into an alcove, then use
them again to get up and right some more to the second alcove. Use this same
strategy to get up to the third alcove, then use three jets in a row to get up
to the top.
Jet past the giant wheels and attack the second door on the cars in the
background. This gets Don Dracula on your Omega Factor and gives you an
upgrade [I chose life]. Quickly jet past more giant wheels to reach a boss
battle.

(D-28) BIRTH - 6-4 - ANCIENT PRINCE SHARAKU
###############################################################################
This boss can stab you with his spear at close range or throw it in a curve
that creates spear clones that also launch at you. For the clone throw you
want to jet away from it.
The boss can also summon three different powers to help him, the first is
called Aztlan. This snake summon gets light on fire and then drops the
fireballs on top of you. If you jet above him then you should be fine though.
Atonatiuh is the next summon, and it involves some rocks appearing on the
screen and falling shortly after. The boss cannot be damaged while any of the
rocks are on the screen.
The Mictlan summon is very similar to Aztlan, except ice forms on the snake
instead of fire. The ice doesn't fall, but is rather left in a trail as the
snake moves.
Try to move up or down with the boss while using your finger laser or arm
cannon, then jet out of the way before he gets close enough to stab you with
his spear.
After the battle, you will get Rock on your Omega Factor, as well as another
upgrade [I chose punch].

(D-29) BIRTH - 7-1 - VERSATILE ROBOT: NORTH
###############################################################################
If you try to use the finger laser or arm cannon on this boss, he will teleport
and counter-attack you. The machine gun can hit him just fine, but it doesn't
do a whole lot of damage.
If you try to punch him from the air, then he pushes you back with his hand and
your hits have no effect. I have found that the best way to damage him is to
take one punch, then QUICKLY use your finger laser once on his head in the air
[you can also use the arm cannon in this way if you're fast enough, but if
you're too slow you will get hit]. Repeat this process and you shouldn't take
any damage, though it will take a bit of time.
Once you've drained the first 2 units of the boss's health, his pattern
changes. Now the boss will do one of 6 things, depending on which arm is
showing.
If the drill is showing, the boss moves towards you while taking diagonal pokes
down at you.
If the beam cannon is showing, then the boss fires a horizontal beam.
If the pipe is showing, the boss releases a trio of minions that explode after
a few seconds.
If the saw is showing then the boss starts dropping a few saws down on you from
above.
If the missile launcher is showing, then the boss fires a few heat-seeking
missiles at you.
If the shield is showing, then the boss puts of a shield for a few seconds.
Although the boss has a lot more attacks to choose from, he doesn't
counter-attack you. This means that you can freely use your finger laser and
arm cannon, so be sure to do so [and use jets to dodge as needed].
After the battle, you will get North in your Omega Factor and another upgrade
[I chose punch].

(D-30) BIRTH - 7-2 - INVISIBLE ROBOT: DENKOU
###############################################################################
This room has some red generators that keep the boss invisible when he decides
to hide himself from you. If this happens, then you need to attack these
generators until he reappears.
The boss pretty much just runs away from you and drops timed bombs, that's his
only attack. Your strategy will depend on how much you have upgraded your
laser or shot.
If your laser is maxed like mine, then you're going to want to use a punch
combo on the boss and follow it up with an arm cannon shot. Make him reappear
after this and repeat until he is dead.
If your shot is upgraded more, then you want to use a punch combo followed by
the machine gun. While the boss is stunned you can repeat this simple attack
until he is dead. This is the easier method, since you don't have to deal with
him being invisible.
After the battle, you will get Denkou in your Omega Factor and another upgrade
[I chose punch].

(D-31) BIRTH - 7-3 - ARMORED ROBOT: BRONTUS
###############################################################################
If this boss morphs into a wheel, then he rushes at you and bounces off the
wall [just jet over or through him]. When he tucks he arms and legs in, then
he bounces around a bit. You can easily run past him as he bounces, it's not
hard to avoid. If the boss is crouching and shaking, then he's about to fire a
few shots at you. Jump and jet away from them to dodge as best as you can, or
jet behind him and attack.
When you get the boss down to low health, he will start bouncing directly after
a wheel attack sometimes. He will also use the wheel to go around the entire
room [and is usually vulnerable after].
When the blue orb is showing in his chest [usually after the wheel attack],
it's time for you to deal some damage. Use your arm cannon, finger laser or
punch combos, whatever works for you.
After the battle, you will get Brontus in your Omega Factor and another upgrade
[I chose life].

(D-32) BIRTH - 7-4 - QUANTUM ROBOT: EPSILON
###############################################################################
This boss has 4 different attacks, most of them involve summoning sea
creatures.
The whale attack has a large whale swimming across the top of the screen, so
just stay on the ground during this attack and you should be fine [you can
attack the boss from behind if you're quick enough].
The urchin attack has a bunch of purple urchins all flying towards you from
different angles. You can attack them if you want, or just dodge and jet to
get away from them, it's your call [I find it works well to jump first, then
jet away].
When you see an orange beam above the boss, then you will start seeing some
crosshairs tracking you along the ground. Don't worry about attacking the boss
here, just keep moving and jet through some beams if needed.
The dolphin attack has a group of dolphins swimming across the screen, from one
side to the other [similar to the urchins, it works quite well to jump up high
and then jet through the dolphins].
Use your finger laser or punches when you have a chance, and be sure to use the
arm cannon.
After the battle, you will get Epsilon in your Omega Factor and another upgrade
[I chose life].

(D-33) BIRTH - 7-5 - WORLD'S STRONGEST ROBOT
###############################################################################
When the boss spins really fast it pulls you towards him so be sure to walk or
jet in the opposite direction.
If the boss crouches down a bit and brings his hands to his face, then he fires
a few rounds of heat-seeking missiles. You can try to dodge and jet past them
if you want, but it's not that easy to do. The machine gun works well, but you
can also use the arm cannon if you have enough time and space for it.
The boss sometimes fires some thin coloured beams from his horns that sweep
across the ground. A second later some flames travel across the ground towards
him. You should jet to the other side of the boss and attack him when you see
this attack coming.
The boss sometimes has large purple orbs of energy in his hands. Shortly after
this, the boss attacks you with a purple beam that tracks you as you move. It
works best to jet behind the boss and attack, but you have to watch that the
purple laser doesn't get too close.
I find the missiles most annoying, but for the most part you just use your
finger laser and arm cannon from behind the boss while he does the other
attacks.
After the battle, you will get Pluto in your Omega Factor and another upgrade
[I chose life]. Now watch the bad ending and the credits, but DON'T SKIP THE
CREDITS or you will miss an upgrade. After the credits you get Phoenix in your
Omega Factor and this upgrade [I chose life].
Now that you've finished the game, you can select which stage you want to play.
If you beat the game a second time, you can find more people and upgrades and
also see the true ending!

(D-34) REBIRTH - 1-1 - METRO CITY
###############################################################################
Be sure to play the tutorial in stage 0-1 again, as this will unlock stage 0-5
for you.
Destroy the group of enemies and talk to drake, then fight some bees up ahead.
Fight 3 different pairs of enemies and attack another pair and some flying
enemies, then destroy some turrets. Grab the heart and go right to the next
stage.

(D-35) REBIRTH - 1-2 - WORLD FEDERAL BUILDING
###############################################################################
Jump the cars and beat the traffic light to get rid of them. Head right and
kill some enemies on the ground and in the air, then beat up some smaller bees.
Kill more enemies on land and air before fighting some large bees, then use
your arm cannon to take out a row of large turrets. Head right and punch some
large enemies, then take the heart and go to the next stage.

(D-36) REBIRTH - 1-3 - WAREHOUSE BATTLE
###############################################################################
Use kicks to knock the large enemies into each other before finishing them with
punches. Repeat this as you climb to the top, then use your arm cannon as
needed. Head right at the top to the next stage.

(D-37) REBIRTH - 1-4 - SPIDER ROBOT
###############################################################################
Attack the spiders until an alarm sounds, then watch as a large spider appears.

Boss: Spider Robot
------------------
Your arm cannon is more effective than your machine gun here, so jump up and
use it if you can.
The boss spits a spreading wave of shots down at you, so don't wait underneath
him for long. He also shoots a different sort of spread shot up that comes
back down and lands beside him.
Use jumping punches on him after either of these types of attacks, then drain
his health meter to finish him off.
Head right after the fight to meet up with Wato Chiyoko [this unlocks stage
0-4 on the stage select] then keep right to start the next stage.

(D-38) REBIRTH - 1-5 - MAGNAMITE
###############################################################################
This boss fires a beam from it's mouth at times, which is easily avoided if you
stay on the ground, or anywhere behind, under or on top of him. He likes to
raise his arm and swing it at you after it glows, so watch for this and keep
away.
The boss's grey midsection is the spot that you want to focus your attacks on.
You can jump on his back and attack, use your arm cannon if you have any, and
also use jumping punches.
Once you get the boss down to his last three units of health he jumps high in
the air and tries to land right on top of you. KEEP MOVING and you should be
fine [don't wait on top of him when he jumps up high, or you will take damage],
then sneak in 1-3 punches after each landing.
Repeat this until the boss is destroyed to finish the stage. Head to stage 0-4
to meet Boon, and check out stage 0-5 before going to stage 2-1.

(D-39) REBIRTH - 2-1 - X POINT, PACIFIC OCEAN
###############################################################################
Shoot a wave of red enemies up top and a second wave below, then deal with 2
black waves that cross in the middle. A green wave appears above and a
second one below, then it's two black waves that come from behind and cross in
the middle.
Now it's two black "V" formations as some fish jump and shoot at you. Use your
arm cannon to make short work of the large green enemy up ahead, but watch for
it's large group of shots. Shoot through another pair of black V's, then shoot
some flying and jumping fish [that either attack you with 3-way spread shots or
single shots].
Shoot some bees and mines here and watch for the mines' 8-way shots when they
explode. Some purple fish that shoot spines are next, and then a large bee
boss.

Boss: Bee
---------
This boss has a constant stream of purple shots that you really need to watch
for. He also fires red shots in bursts of 1-3 shots at a time. Use your
finger laser until you need to move away from the boss, then use your arm
cannon to drain some more health.
Once you've drained about half of the boss's health, his pattern changes. He
now flies towards you at the top part of the screen, while firing a series of
red shots at you. Fly right under him when this happens, then quickly fly up
as he comes back onto the screen. He rises while firing a trio of spines, then
lets loose an 8-way spread of pink shots before his pattern repeats.
It's easiest to hit him as he rises, when he's returned from the left side of
the screen, but use your arm cannon to make things easier.

Part 02

Shoot dual waves of green enemies and a large triangular group of black
enemies, then deal with dual waves of red fish that curve back and shoot you.
Another black triangular mass followed by jumping blue shooting fish, then the
next boss appears.

(D-40) REBIRTH - 2-2 - ARTIFICIAL SUN
###############################################################################
The first part of this battle is easy, but can take some time. The boss rises
up and falls whichever side you happen to be on, then he starts chasing you
either clockwise or counter-clockwise around the screen.
Simply fly away from him in the same direction and hold down "B" to constantly
fire your finger laser. Repeat this until you drain the first 3 units of
energy from the boss, then he shrinks down in size and grows 8 tentacles.
At this point he still simply flies around the screen in a circle, but now you
have to watch out for his tentacles. Keep shooting him with your finger laser
and HOLD BACK on your arm cannon for now. The boss grows slowly bigger as you
damage him, but the arm cannon causes him to grow much faster so don't use it
[if you have to use a special move, use your machine gun].
It's worth mentioning that you can use your dash to go THROUGH a tentacle and
stop in the next gap between tentacles. This becomes more helpful as the boss
grows in size.
Keep avoiding the growing boss by hiding in the gaps between his tentacles.
Continue to use your finger laser until the boss explodes [you MIGHT be able
to get away with an arm cannon shot or EX dash at about 2 units of health or
less], which ends this stage.

(D-41) REBIRTH - 2-3 - CRUCIFORM ISLAND

Part 01

Head right and talk to Pook to start a battle.

Boss: Amazing Three
-------------------
This boss simply bounces around the screen at an angle. Although it is
possible to land punches without taking damage, it's easier to use your finger
laser. If you can hit the boss with your arm cannon, then it helps quite a bit
too.
Walk right after the battle to enter an indoor area and reach the next part of
the stage.

Part 02
-------
Jump to the heart floating above you and walk right, then fall into the gap and
head right. Fight your way through a trio of bats while dropping down another
level. Jump OVER the water [since it damages you] and beat another bat, then
use your jets to get over the wall. Hug the left wall as you fall, to miss
some more water. Attack the bats and talk to Wally Kisagari on your left.
Smash the statue to the left of Wally and jump back right past the water and
drop through the passage in the bottom right corner [it's open because you
smashed the statue by Wally earlier].
###############################################################################
(D-42) REBIRTH - 2-4 - DREADFUL ROBOTS V3
###############################################################################
Head right to meet the first V3 robot. It will wither walk towards you with
spinning punches, or jump and try to land on top of you. In either case
dashing is the best way to avoid either attack. Counter with the finger laser
if you want to play it safe, but use whatever works for you.
Head right as 4 more V3s jump down and dash away from them so that they don't
land on you. Use your arm cannon if you want to make it MUCH easier to get rid
of the 4 of them. Finish the job with your finger laser and grab the heart on
your right, then continue to the next stage.

(D-43) REBIRTH - 2-5 - THE ELEVATOR
###############################################################################
Beat up the large bats and bees as you ride the elevator here. Kick the
enemies to have a much easier time with them.
Attack the pair of V3s when you reach the bottom, then grab the heart on your
left and go right to the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-44) REBIRTH - 2-6 - TRANSFORMABLE ROBOT "POOK"
###############################################################################
This boss can shape-shift and take on one of four different forms. Depending
on the form, the strategy is different. Personally, I found the arm cannon
worked wonders, but use whichever special move works for you.
Monkey Form - The boss attacks with his tail and either swings it low along the
ground or up at an angle. With the low attack he can grip the wall to pull
himself closer. If you can get the boss close to a wall, then you can easily
use your finger laser from the opposite wall. Otherwise you want to jump into
the air to get the boss to attack high, then jet straight down and quickly use
the finger laser. Repeat this pattern until the boss changes form.
Shark Form - In this form the boss either appears with his fin sticking out of
the ground or a small ripple. When it's the fin, the boss moves back and forth
quickly. When it's a ripple, the boss moves slower and jumps up and down as he
moves. It is possible to land a few punch combos if the boss is moving slower,
but generally you want to use the finger laser to drive him to his next form.
Lion Form - The lion cannot be hurt when he is glowing green, but he jumps
towards you to attack. Just jump or dash over him and use the finger laser
from a distance to get him to transform.
Bird Form - The bird dives at you, or shoots a group of fireballs. When he
launches feathers up into the air, they come back down again on fire. you want
to jump the dive attacks and use jets for any of them really. Jumping punches
or finger lasers work best to drain the boss's health.
Once you've beaten the boss, you get to talk to Pook for a bit. Pook gets
added to your Omega Factor and you get an upgrade as the stage ends [I chose
jets].

(D-45) REBIRTH - 3-1 - TOKUGAWA PLANT ON THE MOON
###############################################################################
You get Nuka on your Omega Factor before this stage begins, which also means
another upgrade [I chose life].
Take out the flying enemies and head right, then attack enemies on both sides
of you. Jump and jet up the shaft while fighting off large enemies. Jet to
the top of the shaft and take the heart, then smash some turrets and drop down
on your right. Attack a few more turrets and some large ones as you continue
right, then fight enemies and turrets both large and small.
Fall down a shaft for a heart after all of this and go right for a boss fight.

(D-46) REBIRTH - 3-2 - GOBLIN ROBOID
###############################################################################
This boss either brings his sword back over his head before swinging them down
on you, or he leans back before charging at you with a low swing. Either way
you should start the fight with your arm cannon, then use the finger laser at a
distance and jet through him before he charges. Repeat this, one shot at a
time until he's toast, then go right to the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-47) REBIRTH - 3-3 - POWER PLANT REACTOR
###############################################################################
Drop down the shaft and head right to a more open section, then jump left and
dash across the plasma, while being sure to cancel your dash with "A" so that
you land on the safe spots between the plasma. Jump over the wall and jet up,
then head right and beat up some bats.
Continue up and watch for a pair of large diagonal lasers, then beat up more
bats among some pistons. Pass a trio of lasers and take the heart, then drop
down the shaft and go right to the next stage.

(D-48) REBIRTH - 3-4 - OBSERVATION DECK
###############################################################################
Attack the group of small enemies and a bunch of large ones as you work your
way right. After killing the purple enemies and leaving this narrow tunnel,
you want to jump left to find a heart. Now you can go back right to start a
boss battle.
###############################################################################
(D-49) REBIRTH - 3-5 - ASTRO VS. ATLAS
###############################################################################
When the boss leans back and the barrel of his gun extends, he fires a fat
laser beam. So be sure to jet above or below the laser to avoid it. When he
pulls his fist back then he flies towards you with a flashing punch [he
doesn't take damage while doing this attack]. You want to hit him with your
finger laser until you've knocked off his first 3 units of health.
At this point the boss changes from doing one punch attack, to three in a row
[so use your jets]. Knock off two more units of his health to trigger another
pattern change.
Now the boss constantly has a blue beam shooting straight down, so don't get
caught under him. The boss no longer uses his gun attack, he just sticks to
using two punches in a row. After you drain another unit of his health, the
blue beam starts rotating counter-clockwise [this is a good time to use your
arm cannon]. Keep circling around him and using your finger laser, and jet out
of the way as needed until you beat him.
You will finally get Atlas on your Omega Factor after this battle, as well as
another upgrade [I chose jets].
###############################################################################
(D-50) REBIRTH - 4-1 - ANTARCTIC PRESIDENT
###############################################################################
Head left and kill 2 groups of large enemies, then rescue Abercrombie by
attacking a third group. Abercrombie gets added to your Omega Factor and gives
you another upgrade [I chose jets].
###############################################################################
(D-51) REBIRTH - 4-2 - ABOVE THE ANTARCTIC OCEAN
###############################################################################
Fly left while using your finger laser on all the flying enemies. They have
slow moving green shots and some faster pink shots as well, but both are pretty
easily avoided. You can attack the actual enemies or their platforms, either
one will work.

Boss: Large Robot
-----------------
This boss is like a larger version of the enemies that you faced in this stage.
His platform fires heat-seeking missiles constantly and he fires a pink shot
while trying to get closer to you.
Keep your finger laser on him [or his platform] and use your arm cannon to
speed things up a bit. After the battle, it's on to the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-52) REBIRTH - 4-3 - FOLLOW CARABS!
###############################################################################
Shoot a wave of pink shooting enemies and a pair of larger laser-firing
enemies. Watch for two more of these enemies coming from behind [you can lurk
left of them to get rid of them easily] before killing some spinning mines and
more pink enemies.
Fly around the row of spikes as you do this and shoot waves of red fish
appearing from behind you. Weave between the rising and falling spikes as a
row moves towards you, then shoot up some pink enemies and waves of red fish.
Attack the blue enemies that rush from the left, then attack some mines and
more blue enemies.
Kill two waves of mines as the next boss appears.

Boss: Large Robot
-----------------
This boss is the same as the boss in the previous stage, so beat him the same
way. Grab the floating heart after the battle to start another fight.
###############################################################################
(D-53) REBIRTH - 4-4 - ROBOT TANK CARABS!
###############################################################################
This boss is quite large and you don't want to touch him, just like any other
boss. He's slowly moving backwards into you as he fires some small green shots
back If you move up a little you can hit him with your finger laser [the arm
cannon helps out in this battle too], but you want to jet down under him and
right to get up front before he gets too close to you.
Once up here, the boss fires blue lasers from his eyes that are very hard to
dodge without using your jets. Fire your laser from down low and slowly move
up until you have to dodge, then jet up past the lasers and keep firing. Jet
down and back left under the boss when he gets too close, then repeat this
until you've depleted his first 3 units of health.
The boss now fires a 4-way curving stream of green shots [that's actually
dodged fairly easily] and some slightly faster blue lasers when you're up
front. Keep attacking him with the same strategy to finish the battle and the
stage.

(D-54) REBIRTH - 5-1 - DEADCROSS ESCAPES
###############################################################################
Destroy a group of enemies and second group of all sizes [kicks work well],
then attack a normal third group. Kill some large enemies up ahead, then go
right to the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-55) REBIRTH - 5-2 - MARINE EXPRESS, ANTARCTIC STATION
###############################################################################
Head right and kill two groups of enemies to reach the next stage.
###############################################################################
(D-56) REBIRTH - 5-3 - MARINE EXPRESS, RUINS
###############################################################################
Attack a larger enemy and waves from above and below, then a trio of enemies
coming fast from the right and another trio coming slow from the left. A group
of enemies attacks with a pair of mines, then stay away from the left edge of
the screen.
Enemies creep from the left while you fight off some larger ones, then you
dodge spikes while shooting a group of enemies. Watch the shots of the next
group and beware of enemies rushing from the left, then fight off a pair of
large enemies.
Shoot through circling mines and other enemies, then deal with more mines and
some platform enemies. Shoot a trio of large platform enemies to reach the
boss up ahead.

Boss: Marine Express
--------------------
This boss has three targets when you start the fight. A row of green lights
near the top, a red light just below here and a green light near the bottom.
You need to destroy all three of these targets to get a fourth one to appear.
Before this happens, you need to deal with spreading rings of shots, streams of
shots and lasers. Start with the lowest target first since it's the most
annoying, and stay back to weave between the rings more easily.
Go for the top target next, and finish things up by destroying the middle
target [the red light].
Now the boss opens up a compartment on the bottom to reveal a gun. This gun
fires heat-seeking missiles, streams of shots, dual lasers or spreading rings
of shots.
Stay far back for the rings, like before and steer clear of the lasers. The
missiles are dodged pretty easily and the streams of shots are even easier to
dodge. You can land hits real easy when the boss is using the streams.
After the battle is over, the next stage begins.

(D-57) REBIRTH - 5-4 - MARINE EXPRESS, INSIDE

Fight a trio of enemies as you go right and drop into the cars below, then go
left for a heart. Head right and destroy a group of enemies, then continue
right and kill another group. Meet with Wally just ahead and grab the heart,
then head right for a boss battle.

Boss: Deadcross & Roboid
------------------------
This boss is very annoying since you have two bosses to deal with, but that
can't be helped.
The roboid fights like the one that you fought in stage 3-2, and Deadcross
simply swings his sword and sends waves along the ground towards you. The
roboid just makes the fight a pain, but you want to concentrate your attacks on
Deadcross.
Try to jet over or through them both and use a finger laser, then repeat
before either one can hit you. Use your arm cannon on Deadcross whenever you
can, and drain his health quickly to get rid of the roboid. You can use your
finger laser, punch combos, or arm cannon to finish off Deadcross, just be sure
to jet past his attacks.
After the battle you get Deadcross on your Omega Factor, in addition to an
upgrade [I chose punch].

(D-58) REBIRTH - 6-1 - SAPPHIRE'S CASTLE
###############################################################################
Attack these shield enemies from behind [jet if needed] when they raise their
shields. Kill two groups [try kicking one into the rest to make things easier]
and go right, then fight off a trio of stone heads. Use punches or your finger
laser from the air, otherwise these enemies won't take any damage.
Go right and destroy some stone heads and shield enemies [a jumping arm cannon
shot helps make short work of the heads], then go right to the next stage.

(D-59) REBIRTH - 6-2 - LEGENDARY MU CIVILIZATION
###############################################################################
Fight off a group of large shield enemies and use your jets [it takes about 4
jets, though you can use your EX dash] to take you straight up from the left
side of he screen. Land on the platform up here and smash the statue, then
talk to Unico again. This triggers a new event in stage 0-5, so you'll want to
be going there soon.
Drop down and kill a pair of stone heads on your right, then keep right and
attack a group of small shield enemies. Kill some large ones farther right and
some large stone heads just beyond. Bombard the heads with finger lasers and
maybe an arm cannon shot from the air, then take the heart and go right to the
next stage.

(D-59A) REBIRTH - 0-5 - DR TENMA'S HOUSE
###############################################################################
Use the stage select from the pause menu to get here, now that you've talked to
Unico in stage 6-2.
Talk with Dr. Tenma in this stage to get him on your Omega Factor and to get
another upgrade [I chose shot]. You can go play stage 6-3 now that you're a
little stronger.

(D-60) REBIRTH - 6-3 - GREAT PYRAMID
###############################################################################
Use your jets diagonally to get past the wheels and into an alcove, then use
them again to get up and right some more to the second alcove. Use this same
strategy to get up to the third alcove, then use three jets in a row to get up
to the top.
Jet past the giant wheels and attack the second door on the cars in the
background. This lets you talk to Don Dracula again and also triggers a new
event in stage 0-4. So you'll want to be going there soon. Quickly jet past
more giant wheels to reach a boss battle.

(D-60A) REBIRTH - 0-4 - BOON'S ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE
###############################################################################
Use the stage select from the pause menu to get here, now that you've talked to
Don Dracula in stage 6-3.
Talk with Boon in this stage to get him on your Omega Factor and to get another
upgrade [I chose shot]. You can go play stage 6-4 now that you're a little
stronger.

(D-61) REBIRTH - 6-4 - ANCIENT PRINCE SHARAKU
###############################################################################
This boss can stab you with his spear at close range or throw it in a curve
that creates spear clones that also launch at you. For the clone throw you
want to jet away from it.
The boss can also summon three different powers to help him, the first is
called Aztlan. This snake summon gets light on fire and then drops the
fireballs on top of you. If you jet above him then you should be fine though.
Atonatiuh is the next summon, and it involves some rocks appearing on the
screen and falling shortly after. The boss cannot be damaged while any of the
rocks are on the screen.
The Mictlan summon is very similar to Aztlan, except ice forms on the snake
instead of fire. The ice doesn't fall, but is rather left in a trail as the
snake moves.
Try to move up or down with the boss while using your finger laser or arm
cannon, then jet out of the way before he gets close enough to stab you with
his spear.
After the battle, you will get Sapphire on your Omega Factor, as well as
another upgrade [I chose shot].

(D-62) REBIRTH - 7-1 - VERSATILE ROBOT: NORTH
###############################################################################
If you try to use the finger laser or arm cannon on this boss, he will teleport
and counter-attack you. The machine gun can hit him just fine, but it doesn't
do a whole lot of damage.
If you try to punch him from the air, then he pushes you back with his hand and
your hits have no effect. I have found that the best way to damage him is to
take one punch, then QUICKLY use your finger laser once on his head in the air
[you can also use the arm cannon in this way if you're fast enough, but if
you're too slow you will get hit]. Repeat this process and you shouldn't take
any damage, though it will take a bit of time.
Once you've drained the first 2 units of the boss's health, his pattern
changes. Now the boss will do one of 6 things, depending on which arm is
showing.
If the drill is showing, the boss moves towards you while taking diagonal pokes
down at you.
If the beam cannon is showing, then the boss fires a horizontal beam.
If the pipe is showing, the boss releases a trio of minions that explode after
a few seconds.
If the saw is showing then the boss starts dropping a few saws down on you from
above.
If the missile launcher is showing, then the boss fires a few heat-seeking
missiles at you.
If the shield is showing, then the boss puts of a shield for a few seconds.
Although the boss has a lot more attacks to choose from, he doesn't
counter-attack you. This means that you can freely use your finger laser and
arm cannon, so be sure to do so [and use jets to dodge as needed].
After the battle, you will get Inspector Tawashi in your Omega Factor and
another upgrade [I chose shot].

(D-63) REBIRTH - 7-2 - INVISIBLE ROBOT: DENKOU
###############################################################################
This room has some red generators that keep the boss invisible when he decides
to hide himself from you. If this happens, then you need to attack these
generators until he reappears.
The boss pretty much just runs away from you and drops timed bombs, that's his
only attack. Your strategy will depend on how much you have upgraded your
laser or shot.
If your laser is maxed like mine, then you're going to want to use a punch
combo on the boss and follow it up with an arm cannon shot. Make him reappear
after this and repeat until he is dead.
If your shot is upgraded more, then you want to use a punch combo followed by
the machine gun. While the boss is stunned you can repeat this simple attack
until he is dead. This is the easier method, since you don't have to deal with
him being invisible.
After the battle, you will get Skunk Kusai in your Omega Factor and another
upgrade [I chose shot].

(D-64) REBIRTH - 7-3 - ARMORED ROBOT: BRONTUS
###############################################################################
If this boss morphs into a wheel, then he rushes at you and bounces off the
wall [just jet over or through him]. When he tucks he arms and legs in, then
he bounces around a bit. You can easily run past him as he bounces, it's not
hard to avoid. If the boss is crouching and shaking, then he's about to fire a
few shots at you. Jump and jet away from them to dodge as best as you can, or
jet behind him and attack.
When you get the boss down to low health, he will start bouncing directly after
a wheel attack sometimes. He will also use the wheel to go around the entire
room [and is usually vulnerable after].
When the blue orb is showing in his chest [usually after the wheel attack],
it's time for you to deal some damage. Use your arm cannon, finger laser or
punch combos, whatever works for you.
After the battle, you will get Kinsankaku in your Omega Factor and another
upgrade [I chose shot].

(D-65) REBIRTH - 7-4 - QUANTUM ROBOT: EPSILON
###############################################################################
This boss has 4 different attacks, most of them involve summoning sea
creatures.
The whale attack has a large whale swimming across the top of the screen, so
just stay on the ground during this attack and you should be fine [you can
attack the boss from behind if you're quick enough].
The urchin attack has a bunch of purple urchins all flying towards you from
different angles. You can attack them if you want, or just dodge and jet to
get away from them, it's your call [I find it works well to jump first, then
jet away].
When you see an orange beam above the boss, then you will start seeing some
crosshairs tracking you along the ground. Don't worry about attacking the boss
here, just keep moving and jet through some beams if needed.
The dolphin attack has a group of dolphins swimming across the screen, from one
side to the other [similar to the urchins, it works quite well to jump up high
and then jet through the dolphins].
Use your finger laser or punches when you have a chance, and be sure to use the
arm cannon.
After the battle, you will get Mr. Tokugawa in your Omega Factor and another
upgrade [I chose shot].

(D-66) REBIRTH - 7-5 - WORLD'S STRONGEST ROBOT
###############################################################################
When the boss spins really fast it pulls you towards him so be sure to walk or
jet in the opposite direction.
If the boss crouches down a bit and brings his hands to his face, then he fires
a few rounds of heat-seeking missiles. You can try to dodge and jet past them
if you want, but it's not that easy to do. The machine gun works well, but you
can also use the arm cannon if you have enough time and space for it.
The boss sometimes fires some thin coloured beams from his horns that sweep
across the ground. A second later some flames travel across the ground towards
him. You should jet to the other side of the boss and attack him when you see
this attack coming.
The boss sometimes has large purple orbs of energy in his hands. Shortly after
this, the boss attacks you with a purple beam that tracks you as you move. It
works best to jet behind the boss and attack, but you have to watch that the
purple laser doesn't get too close.
I find the missiles most annoying, but for the most part you just use your
finger laser and arm cannon from behind the boss while he does the other
attacks.
After the battle, you will get Zoran in your Omega Factor and another upgrade
[I chose sensor].
Now you have all of the normal stages complete in Rebirth mode, as well as
stage 0-1, 0-5 and 0-4. There is still a bit of work to be done before you're
truly done the game though.
You need to unlock and finish stages 0-2 and 0-3 by replaying some other
stages. This unlocks the final few stages 8-1 -> 8-5 and THEN you are done the
game.

(D-66A) REBIRTH - 0-2 - DUKE RED'S HIDEOUT

You just got an important clue from Zoran in stage 7-5 to go to Antarctica, so
go to stage 4-1 right now.

Stage 4-1

Fight your way left and talk to Abercrombie once more to learn about an
observatory on a nearby iceberg, then get the key from him before heading to
stage 4-2.

Stage 4-2
---------
Stay down low very early on in this stage and you will find and enter the
observatory that Abercrombie mentioned. Talk to Duke Red and Blue Knight until
a duel starts.
At this point a countdown starts from 3 to 1 and after that "press A" is on the
screen. You need to press and hold "A" at this point, and no sooner or you
will lose. Win 4 rounds in this way to move on to a countdown of 2, then win 2
rounds here to move on to a countdown of 1. Win 1 round of this to go to no
countdown at all, then win 3 quick rounds of this to FINALLY win the duel.
After the duel, you get Duke Red and Blue Knight on your omega factor, which
means two upgrades [I chose sensor for both].

(D-66B) REBIRTH - 0-3 - DOCTOR BLACK JACK'S HOUSE

You just got a hint that Alejo has info for you, so it's off to stage 1-2.

Smash the upper right window at the start to find Alejo again, then talk to him
to learn some new info about Drake.

Kill the group of robots and talk to Drake to learn more about Prime Rose and
recognize her capsule as the one from stage 3-5.

Beat Atlas and talk to him as he mentions Kennedy [who you met in stage 5-2].

Smash the trash can on your left once more and talk to Kennedy to find out
where Dr. Black Jack lives [this unlocks stage 0-3].

Talk to Dr. Black Jack and Ham Egg to learn that Pinoko is in trouble on
Cruciform Island.

Fight the Amazing Three again and go right to the next area, then drop down the
shaft and talk to Rainbow Parakeet once more on your left. He suggests paying
Skunk a visit, so head for stage 2-6 next.

Pinoko gets rescued here and added to your Omega Factor, which means another
upgrade if you haven't maxed out everything yet. Rainbow Parakeet suggests
taking Pook back to Dr. Black Jack, so return to stage 0-3.

Stage 0-3

Returning here starts a battle with a super-sized Roboid. It fights the same
way as any of the others that you've fought before. Simply use your arm cannon
and finger laser from a distance and watch for it's downward swing attack. The
other attack goes right over you if you stay on the ground, which makes things
easier. One hit from the boss will kill you, so you need to watch carefully
and jet as needed.
After the battle you get Ham Egg and Black Jack for your Omega Factor and go
straight to the moon.

Stage 3-5
---------
The battle with Atlas starts again, but there's a twist this time. There is an
operation going on at the bottom of the screen in an air tent. This tent can
not be destroyed during the course of the battle, or you will fail.
So as soon as the battle begins you want to Jet as high as possible [try upper
right first] to lure Atlas away from the oxygen tent. Fight Atlas as usual but
keep him up as high as possible, then you should win with ease.
Daichi, Prime Rose and Drake get added to your Omega Factor after the battle.
The final few stages of the game are now unlocked as well.

(D-67) REBIRTH - 8-1 - THE LAST BATTLE
###############################################################################
Shoot through 2 walls of enemies and a group of shooting fish, then dodge some
falling mines and a row of more mines coming down. Attack the bees up ahead
while dodging their spines and crossing streams of green shots. Shoot some
blue robots and platform enemies next, and kill blue robots on both sides of
you.
Destroy more platform enemies and carefully jet through the moving spikes, then
shoot some more of these enemies until the stage ends.

(D-68) REBIRTH - 8-2 - ILLUSION
###############################################################################
Take the heart here before any of the battles begin.
This is a repeat of the Magnamite battle you had in stage 1-5, so beat him in
the same way.
After this battle it's time to fight the Artificial Sun once again, use the
same tactics as before to move on to a third battle.
For this battle, you have to fight the Carabs. Use the same strategy as the
last times that you fought it, and use your machine gun if you find that you
can't jet past the boss.

(D-69) REBIRTH - 8-3 - ARTIFICIAL PLANET "DEATH MASK"
###############################################################################
This battle is identical to the last time you fought Sharaku in stage 6-5, so
use the same strategy on his attacks. A slight difference involves the Death
Mask in the background. If you go near the middle of the screen, the Death
Mask opens up and fires a column of energy that will kill you with one hit.
So do your best to fight on one side of the screen, or jet across the middle as
needed.

(D-70) REBIRTH - 8-4 - GARON
###############################################################################
This boss has three attacks and they're all easy to spot. The first one has
the boss raising both his arms up in closed fists. When you see this happening
you want to jump into the air and stay there by using your finger laser or
jets. The boss pounds the ground shortly after, but you'll be fine if you're
in the air.
The second attack is indicated by a glowing purple ball of energy in the boss's
palm. Some small, slow-moving shots are then fired towards you, so jump or jet
past them.
The third type of attack has the boss raising one arm or both and a group of
slow-moving rocks fall down to the ground on an angle. Walk past as many of
these rocks as you can and jet past the rest.
Watch for the boss's chest to open up and let loose with your arm cannon,
punches and finger lasers on that open section to deal some damage. Repeat
this until you finish the battle, which gets you Garon for your Omega Factor.

(D-71) REBIRTH - 8-5 - WORLD'S GREATEST ADVENTURE
###############################################################################
For this final flying stage you can't shoot, use jets or any of your special
moves. All you can do is fly and weave between the debris.
You're most likely to take damage when trying to fly between two rocks close
together, so try your best to avoid these situations. Fly above or below rocks
whenever possible to minimize your chances of taking damage.
If you can dodge the debris for 47 seconds, then the stage is over and so is
the game! Sit back and watch the ending and credits, then MAKE SURE you don't
skip over the screen with "THE END" on it. Let it sit there until you see one
last conversation [it takes about 2 minutes of waiting], then you will get
Sharaku for the final spot on your Omega Factor.

(E) UPGRADES

As you meet new characters in the game, these characters will get added to
Astro Boy's Omega Factor. Some characters have "?" on them, which means that
you still need to learn more about them. Once you have done this, then those
characters will have a "!".
For each character that doesn't have a "?", you are able to upgrade one part of
Astro Boy in the following categories:

You get more HP and can therefore take more damage with this upgrade.

Your punches and kicks do more damage with this upgrade.
