1 - About this FAQ
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

I know it is really fascinating the way that Game Arts maintains the Lunar
series alive with only three chapters. Yes, you read right: three. If you are
a fan of the series, you spent the past years playing every version of Silver
Star (originally released for Sega CD/Mega CD, and later released for Sega
Saturn, Sony PlaystationOne and GameBoy Advance, under the name Lunar Legend)
and Eternal Blue (also originally released for Sega CD/Mega CD and later
ported to Sega Saturn and Sony PlaystationOne). This results in two chapters,
right? So where is the third chapter I am talking about? I present to you the
most obscure, though surprisingly addictive game from Lunar series -- Lunar
Sanposuru Gakuen, or just Lunar Strolling School. Unlike their predecessors,
Lunar Sanposuru Gakuen was first released for the Sega Game Gear, only in Japan
and later ported to the Sega Saturn, also only in Japan, under the name Lunar
Mahou Gakuen, or just Lunar Magic School. This FAQ/Walkthrough only covers the
Game Gear version, Lunar Sanposuru Gakuen. This game is indeed a Side Story to
Lunar, but the game talks about some familiar locations such as Lena's and
Ellie's hometown Burg and the magic town of Vane. This FAQ/Walkthrough is not a
translation of the game, it is just a step-by-step guide in order to finish the
game. However, I translated the main menus, so you can at least make your way
through the game safely. Now, enjoy reading!

4 - Walkthrough

Chapter 1
=========
-Nothing to do here but watch. Elie (the red haired girl) and Lena (the blonde)
are two fellow harvesters in the Town of Burg. Suddenly, Lena's father appears
with the breaking news that Elie and Elie were sold by the Village Elder to
the moving island of Ien, so they can learn magic, with the benefit of bring
free of charge. Though this whole story looks weird, both agree and go to Ien.

Chapter 2
=========
-Talk to the people if you want. Try moving northwest and three guys will
quickly pass before you. Now move up to the next screen.
-Move to the town.
-Talk to the guys in the town's square.
-Exit the town and move to the dock direct to the south of the town, across
the bridge.
-After the conversation, head back to the town's square.
-Move to the forest east of the town and battle the monsters until you get two
pieces of meat (see your items).
-Head back to the town's square.
-Move back to the forest and grab a couple more pieces of meat and try to level
up to level 5 or 6.
-Return to the town and move to the red-roofed building behind the huge
red-roofed buildind noth of the town's square.
-Talk to the four girls in this building, exit and re-enter. After the
conversation, exit the building again. Prepare for battle. Use Elie's
magic once in each foe and that's an easy win.
-Exit the town and head to the dock the game tells you to. You may want to
enter the cave right to the left of the docks for two chests. The enemies
are tougher here. If you get injured, just eat one piece of meat. Anyway,
exit the cave (if you went into it) and go to the right dock.
-Enter the cave near the sands.
-Make your way through the cave mostly heading north till you find the three
guys. Talk to each one of them alone. Again, just use Elie's fire magic and
you will have no problems at all.
-After the battle, head back to the town and enter that red-roofed building
again. Talk one of the girls inside and exit the building.
-Return to the cave in the docks, to the point of where you just fought the
three guys earlier. Get the letter and exit to the forest in the western
part of the island.
