Introdution

I'm writing this FAQ to help some people who may not be able to find a
certain item or don't know what to do with the item that they have now.
Key items are items that you will need to get in order to proceed with
the game. Almost all of the key items are used to open a door. Here
is a example of how I will show the key items.

Item Name: EXAMPLE
Location: This is where the location of the item will be.
Use: This is how you use the item or what it unlocks.

Now lets move on to the FAQ.

Key Items
**************************************************************************
Item Name: Camp Key
Location: Defeat the Bella Sisters (two chainsaw ladies) and the one that
is wearing the key around her neck will drop it.
Use: You need to use this on the door with the insignia on it. This
door is in the pit that you fought the Bella Sister in.

Item Name: Castle Gate Key
Location: The western room of the Castle Gate area on disk 1.
Use: This key unlocks the gate of the castle which is located in the
same area as the key.

Item Name: Dynamite
Location: Coal mine area located under the castle on disk 1.
Use: This will blow the giant boulder that is blocking the way out.
This is also located in the same area as the Dynamite.

Item Name: Emblem (Left Half)
Location: The area of the village that's a valley on disk 1.
Use: You need to combine this half with the other half to make the whole
seal. Once this is done you must put it into the door northeast to
exit this area.

Item Name: Emblem (Right Half)
Location: The area of the village that's a valley on disk 1.
Use: You need to combine this half with the other half to make the whole
seal. Once this is done you must put it into the door northeast to
exit this area.

Item Name: False Eye
Location: To get the False Eye you must defeat Bitores Mendez (Village
Cheif). Once you kill him, it will fall out of his head and you
will be able to pick it up.
Use: You need to use this eye at the retinal scanner on the east door in
the gondola area to get out.

Item Name: Freezer Card Key
Location: The autopsy room on the Island near the end of the game on disk 2.
Use: Unlocks the door leading to the Freezer Room in the stairwell
Corridor area.

Item Name: Gallery Key
Location: Gallery Area of the castle worn by a enemy in a red robe. Kill
him to get the key. He will try to run away from you and get to
his gun but, if you have a sniper rifle you can kill him before he
gets to it. This is a lot easier to do then to kill him when he
is at his gun.
Use: This key unlocks the door to the gallery that the man in the red
robe was standing at.

Item Name: Goat Ornament
Location: This Goat Ornament is located in the final room of the Gallery Area
where you fought the man in the red robe inside of the castle on
disk 1.
Use: One of the three pieces required to lower the wall that was raised
by a ganado. This will take you to the north part of the Audience
Hall.

Item Name: Golden Sword
Location: The Barracks of the Castle on disk one.
Use: Take this from the platinum plate and put insert it into the golden
plate located on the other floor.

Item Name: Insignia Key
Location: Inside the Village Chief's house where Bitores Mendez warned you
that he will kill you if you annoy him. You can find it inside of
a box beside the big bed.
Use: This key will unlock a door with a similer insignia marked on it
near by the room that you found it in.

Item Name: Jet-Ski Key
Location: You will get this key by defeating the final boss of the game. Ada
will give the key to you and you must use it to escape the island
before it blows up.
Use: This key will start up the jet-ski that you will need to ride to
escape the island at the end of the game before it blows up.

Item Name: Key to the Mine
Location: This key is located in the Underground Ruins in the room that is
being guarded by two chain saw villagers, a lot of Ganados, and some
traps.
Use: Unlocks the door to the Entrance of the Underground Ruins of the
castle.

Item Name: King's Grail
Location: The King's Grail is located in the Armor Suit room of the castle
annex in disk 1.
Use: You will need to place this in the hands of the king's statue to
unlock the door in between of the two status.

Item Name: Lion Ornament
Location: The Lion Ornament is located inside of the room with the dragons
made of metal. To get this you need to get to the end of the room.
The dragons in this room blow fire at you so you will need to kill
the person that is piloting them or dodge the fire. At the end of
the room there is a dragon that you will have to kill and then you
will be able to get the Lion Ornament.
Use: One of the three pieces required to lower the wall that was raised
by a ganado. This will take you to the north part of the Audience
Hall.

Item Name: Moonstone (Left Half)
Location: Located withen the outdoor hedge maze near the locked door on disk
1.
Use: Half of the blue Moonstone that will form a seal to unlock the
Bedroom door in the Courtyard and Bedroom area of the castle near
the hedge maze.

Item Name: Moonstone (Right Half)
Location: Located withen the same outdoor hedge maze near the locked room on
disk 1.
Use: Half of the blue Moonstone that will form a seal to unlock the
Bedroom door in the Courtyard and Bedroom area of the castle. near
the hedge maze.

Item Name: Old Key
Location: Inside the second cabin in the second section of one passage in
the Village.
Use: Unlocks the door to exit this area.

Item Name: Piece of the Holy Beast, Eagle
Location: On the tower in the center of the Fortress Ruins area on the
island near the of the game on disk 2. You will be fighting Krauser
while you are trying to get this item.
Use: One of the three pieces that is needed to assemble the Holy Beast on
the wall near the tower that you fight Krauser in.

Item Name: Piece of the Holy Beast, Panther
Location: Northeastern area of the Fortress Ruins near the end of the game
when you are fighting Krauser.
Use: One of the three pieces that is needed to assemble the Holy Beast on
the wall near the tower that you fight Krauser in.

Item Name: Piece of the Holy Beast, Serpent
Location: This item is, like Krauser said, located on him. You will need to
fight Krauser in the Fortress Ruins area on the island to get this
piece.
Use: One of the three pieces that is needed to assemble the Holy Beast on
the wall near the tower that you fight Krauser in.

Item Name: Platinum Sword
Location: The Barracks of the castle on disk 1.
Use: Take this from the golden plate on the wall and put insert it into
the platinum plate located on the other floor on the wall.

Item Name: Emergency Lock Card Key
Location: The Double-Secured Yard of the island. It has been stolen by an
enemy. You will find this item on disk 2, near the end of the game.
Use: This item Needed to activate the the two lock consoles that must be
operated to unlock the door in that same area.

Item Name: Prison Key
Location: The Prison key is hanging on the picture in the corridor of the
Audience Hall area where the two statues are blowing out fire or
water( I'm not really sure what they are blowing out, I just know
that you can not go through it).
Use: This key unlocks the door that leads to the prison area in the
same place as.

Item Name: Queen's Grail
Location: The Weapons Exhibition Room of the castle annex. Cultists force
you to go into by driving some vehicle making this room the only
way to go. It is located inside of a red box in that room.
Use: Place this in the hands of the queen to unlock the door in the
middle of the two status.

Item Name: Round Insignia
Location: In the waterfall area near the village. You will need to activate
a devise on the other side of the river to stop the water from going
over the waterfall. To get across the river you will need to shoot
down 3 crates and use them as a bridge. They are being hung by some
chains.
Use: This item will unlock the front door of the castle that is in back
of the graveyard.

Item Name: Salazar Family Insignia
Location: The Servant Quarters 2 area of the castle. You will obtain this
item while you are in control of Ashley.
Use: Unlocks the secret passage in the Servant Quarters 1 area of the
castle. Doing this will let you escape and get to Leon safely.

Item Name: Serpent Ornament
Location: The Servant Quarters 2 area of the castle. You will get this item
while you are Ashley
Use: One of the three pieces required to lower the wall that was
raised by a ganado. This will take you to the north part of the
Audience Hall.

Item Name: Stone of Sacrifice
Location: The Mine Cart Room under the castle. You will get this item after
you ride the mine cart in disk 1.
Use: Unlocks the eastern door in the Ancient Ruins area of the castle
near the fire that you saw before.

Item Name: Stone Tablet
Location: The first room in the Servant Quarters 2 area of the castle. You
will need to complete a simple puzzle to obtain this item when you
Ashley.
Use: Needed to solve the sliding-tile puzzle in the same area as the
Stone Tablet.

Item Name: Storage Room Card Key
Location: The Research Labrotory of the island on disk 2 near the end of the
game.
Use: Unlocks the Storage room where Ashley is being held in the
Administration Corridor.

Item Name: Waste Disposal Card Key
Location: You get this by rewriting the data on the Freezer Card Key in the
Freezer room where all the frozen Regenarators were.
Use: Unlocks the Waste Disposal door in the same area as the Freezer
area doors were.
