Introduction
=============================================================

This is my first FAQ I've ever written which means this is definitely a
learning experience for me. I will be doing my best to help you defeat the
bosses in Lego Star Wars.

I don't know what it is about this game, but it has made me write a review for
it, and now a Boss FAQ. Maybe it's because of how surprisingly good a Lego
made game is. This game really isn't about complicating you, or trying to tick
you off, it's all about having fun, and kicking some butt in the process.
Because of these very reasons, I feel like I at least owe something to the
game so I'm doing this...

So far there have been 6 Star Wars movies, but there are only 3 episodes in
this game to play through. In these 3 episodes there are many bosses.

Note: THIS FAQ CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR THE MOVIES!

The episodes in the game are:

Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of The Clones
Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of The Sith

1) Storylines
==========================================================

There are 3 storylines for me to cover, and I will give you the run down of
what's going on without giving away too much information about the movie.

                        +-------------------------+
                        |     Episode I           |
                        +-------------------------+

Qui Gon Jin and his partner, Obi Wan Kenobi help a queen save her world. While
traveling, the two find a young, intelligent boy named Anakin Skywalker who
has the potential to become a great Jedi. They take Anakin and the queen back
to Naboo where they face invasion forces and the two Jedi take on an evil foe,
Darth Maul. This is the beginning of training for Anakin from Obi Wan, and
also the beginning of Chancellor Palpatine's reign.

                        +-------------------------+
                        |     Episode II          |
                        +-------------------------+

10 years after The Phantom Menace, the galaxy is on the brink of a civil war.
An asassination is attempted on former queen, Padme Amidala. Anakin Skywalker,
now a Jedi is assigned to protect her. While doing so he falls in love with
her, which is very unlike the Jedi, and it becomes apparent that Anakin may
start to drift to the darker side of the force.

                        +-------------------------+
                        |    Episode III          |
                        +-------------------------+

Anakin finds out his wife Padme is pregnant, and has a recurring dream about
her dying while in child birth. He risks everything to save her, and even
learns the way of the dark side to prevent her from dying. In the process he
learns a terrible truth from Chancellor Palpatine, he IS the Sith Lord that
the Jedi have been searching for all along. In the process, many Jedi havebeen
killed by unlikely people. Anakin Skywalker, now known as Lord Vader is among
those who was manipulated by Lord Sidious. After all the trouble of trying to
save Padme, she dies, and he falls to the dark side.

3) BOSS SECTION:
=======================================================
There are different bosses in this game in each episode which means you will
need a different strategy to beat the boss you are facing.
=======================================================
4) BOSS: Darth Maul
=======================================================
Boss Info:

Movie: Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Game Chapter: 6
Weapon: Red Dual bladed lightsaber
Description: A Sith, and also a coward who uses the dark side of the force and
has no emotions at all besides hatred.
Defeated with: Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi

In the beginning a cutscene will occur when you first find Darth Maul. He cuts
off a platform so you and your partner can't reach him. He's on the other side
with robots shooting at you. Defend yourself by pressing B causing the lasers
to be hit back at the robots. After you killed the robots, Maul will begin to
throw objects at you which you must throw back at him by using the forcing
(holding X down.) This sequence happens 3 times before the parts of the
bridge/platform come down so you can repair it by using the force.

Maul will run into a room directly ahead of you. Enter the room and follow him
on the platforms. There will be 2 instances where you have to use the force
for a platform to slide out so you can jump onto it. Enter the room he leads
you into. You will have to jump from two platforms to get to the main
platform. Robots will now start coming from everywhere, and it will seem like
they won't go away. After awhile of destroying them, two droids will appear on
platforms. They will fire at you and you must defend yourself by pressing B to
hit direct it back at them. After affecting their shields, they will come down
and you can now easily kill them. You and your partner must jump on the
platforms the droids were standing on. On them will be 2 buttons which you
have to step on, and another platform comes up which allows you to get to
Darth Maul. Double jump to the platform. There will be another platform after
that to double jump onto as well.

Afterwards Maul will go through a room with shields that you must get through
by using the force with your partner. Use the force on the switches which
causes the shields to come down. Now you will enter a room where you and Maul
finally duke it out. Defend his attack, and then Double Jump and press B while
in the air which causes a downward strike to occur. After you get him down to
4 hearts/health, he will jump onto a platform and will throw more objects at
use. Use the force again, by holding down X. This will throw the objects back
at Maul. He will come down after awhile. On both sides of the entrance there
are 3 switches you need to turn down by using the force. Now that Maul is down
he can now raise you in the air. You will have a red glow surrounding you when
you are being raises. Press Y while raised to switch to your partner and
attack him while he's holding your partner up. Do this 4 times on him and a
cutscene of Maul dying will appear.

Award: Can now unlock Darth Maul for 15,000 studs from Dexter.
=============================================================================
5) BOSS: Jango Fett Part 1
=============================================================================
Boss Info:

Movie: Star Wars Episode II: Attack of The Clones
Game Chapter: 1
Weapon(s): Gun, Slave I ship, and bombs.
Description: A coward bounty hunter who tries to assasinate Senator Padme
Amidala.
Defeated with: Obi Wan Kenobi and R4-P17.

When you first find Jango Fett he runs out of the room and robots will shoot
at you. Kill them and head out the door and there will be more robots to
defend yourself against. After you defeat them, he heads into a room on the
right, follow him. In that room is an open hole/tunnel in the wall that you
follow Jango into. He will set flashing bombs which will make a noise before
it explodes. Jump back to protect yourself. A total of seven bombs will go off
causing platforms to collapse. To get to the undamaged platforms, you must
double jump. After the bombs, there will be a button you must step on which
causes a platform to slide out halfway. Your partner must fly across to step
on the other button so it connects the platforms.

Now there will be Legos blocking a door entry that your partner must activate.
You must hold down X to move the Legos. Now your partner can activate it so
you can open the door to enter the room. Now an elevator appears which takes
you to a room with robots shooting at you again. There's a tunnel where they
keep coming out of. Your partner can block the tunnel by deactivating the
buttons on the side of the wall. Legos are now blocking another door which you
must use the force to move it, and have R4 activate the door to open.

The fight between you and Jango Fett finally begins. He has 10 lives, and you
can either make his bullets hit him back, or attack him with your lightsaber.
After he's hit 3 times, he raises in the air and the Slave I ship begins
shooting at you. You can either deflect the bullets to hit Jango, or jump up
and attack him. After being hit so many times, he starts to throw bombs which
you throw back at him by holding X down. After being hit by his own bombs
twice he comes down until you can corner him for one more attack. He doesn't
die this time, and is able to get away in the ship.

I must say this game was a great fun, and I'm glad I wrote this FAQ. I
figured writing a FAQ would be not enjoyable, but I really had a good time
with it. Probably because it was such a great game. Anyways, I hope you have
fun, and learn from this FAQ. I will likely add to it as this isn't the final
release.
