Welcome to my Sega Dreamcast Crazy Taxi Faq! This has all the
information you need to become a pro at the game. The game has been
released on Sega Dreamcast and Arcade.

Special Tricks
Crazy Dash
Description- A speed burst
How To Perform- Release everything then just after shifting into drive,
press the accelerator.
Crazy Drift
Description- A sliding drift
How To Perform- When moving forward, quickly shift into Reverse and back
into Drive while turning left or right.
Crazy Back Dash
Description- A reversed speed dash
How To Perform- Shift into reverse after executing a Crazy Dash
Crazy Back Drift
Description- A move that will continue to move in reverse after spinning

How To Perform- While moving forward, quickly shift into Drive and back
into reverse while turning left or right.
Limit Cut
Description- A speed boost like Crazy Dash but will boost your speed
past your top speed.
How To Perform- Release gas and brake and at the same time press
Reverse, Drive, and The Accelerator
Combos
Crazy Jump Combo- Perform many consecutive jumps in a row with out
touching another car or building.
Crazy Through Combo- Drive by many close cars with out touching them to
earn a bonus.
Crazy Drift Combo- After a Crazy Drift keep drifting to earn a bonus.
Customers
Red- Small Fare, Closest Destination
Orange- Larger Fare, Farther Destination
Yellow- Larger Fare, Farther Destination
Green Yellow- Larger Fare, Farther Destination
Green- Largest Fare, Farthest Destination

*4. Drivers*

Axel- An all rounded character. He is great for beginners.
B.D. Joe- His taxi best property is it's speed. He doesn't have a lot of
control, however.
Gena- Great acceleration and control. Another great driver for
beginners.
Gus- Great control but lacks in speed and acceleration.

*5. Arcade Mode*

Modes
-Arcade Rules: Follows the rules of the arcade version, where you must
pick people up and drop them off to gain extra time.
-Drive For 3 Minutes: Lets you drive around the city for 3 minutes at
your own pace. Also lets you pick people up.
-Drive For 5 Minutes: The same as above only this time you can drive for
5 minutes.
-Drive For 10 Minutes: Same as the other 2 but you can drive for 10
minutes.
This level is the same as the Arcade. Many people feel that this level
is put together better than the original one. I feel they're both fun.

*6. Original Mode*

Modes
-Arcade Rules: Follows the rules of the arcade version, where you must
pick people up and drop them off to gain extra time.

I believe this is the tougher of the two courses. Mainly because of the
water on the port area of the city.

*7. Crazy Box*
**************
1.1- Crazy Jump
Limit Cut and Crazy Dash all the way to the bottom of the ramp. You must
jump 150 yards to pass.
1.2- Crazy Flag
Do a Crazy Back Drift to spin around 180 degrees since the flag is
behind you. And Limit Cut and Crazy Dash all the way to the end.
1.3- Crazy Balloons
Drive around the field and pop all twenty of the ballons within the time
limit to complete.
1.S- Crazy Bowling
You must knock down 70 bowling pins to complete. Crazy Dash and Crazy
Drift to Knock them all down.
2.1- Crazy Drift
You must Crazy Drift for a 15 hit combo within the time limit to pass
this game.
2.2- Crazy Turn
Crazy Dash to the turn, then do a Crazy Drift around the turn, then
another dash when coming out of the turn.
2.3- Crazy Bound
Just follow the arrows when you jump off the ramp. Make sure to not fall
off of them and crazy dash all the way through.
2.S- Crazy ZigZag
Take the customer to the end of the platforms by following the arrows on
the ramps. Make sure to not fall in the water to pass.
3.1- Crazy Rush
You need to drop off 5 different customers to their dropoff points. Make
sure you face them right or you will lose alot of time.
3.2- Crazy Jam
Deliver 3 customers to their destination points but watch out for the
traffic. Don't Crazy Dash, it will only slow you down.
3.3- Crazy Pole
Drop off your customer on the side of the pole and another customer will
hop in take them to their destination to win.
3.S- Crazy ZigZag 2
You must drop off each customer that is in your car to their
destination. Most of them are on the edge of the platform so drive
carefully.
4.1- Crazy Through
You must get a 30 through combo to complete. Do not hit a car or you'll
lose your combo.
4.2- Crazy Parking
Take your customers through the parking garage. Be sure not to touch
anything.
4.3- Crazy Party
You need to drop off seven people to the end. Use the Crazy Dash and
Limit Cut to win.

Disable arrow indicators
Before the character selection screen appears, hold R + Start. If you
entered the code correctly, the message "No Arrows"
will appear in the lower left corner.
Disable destination indicator
Before the character selection screen appears, hold L + Start. If you
entered the code correctly, the message "No Destination
Mark" will appear in the lower left corner.
Expert mode
Before the character selection screen appears, hold L + R + Start. If
you entered the code correctly, the word "Expert" will
appear in the lower left corner. No stop or arrow indicators will appear
in this mode.
Special Taxi
At the character selection screen, quickly press L, R, L, R, L, R or L +
R, L + R, L + R. Then, select a character to drive a
bike instead of a taxi. Alternatively, complete all sixteen Crazy Box
levels to unlock the Special Taxi for each character,
which is selectable in crazy box, arcade, or original modes. To select
the bike in crazy box mode, scroll to the right of Gus at
the character selection screen. To select the bike in arcade or original
mode, press Up at the character selection screen.
Another Day mode
At the character selection screen, press R, then hold R while choosing a
driver. If you entered the code correctly, the message
"Another Day" will appear. This mode modifies various positions in the
game.
Alternate display
Begin a game in arcade or original mode. Then, press B on controller
three to switch the display to a first person
perspective. Press Y on controller three to change to another camera
angle. Press X(5) on controller three to view a
speedometer. Press A on controller three to reset the display.
