This FAQ is ONLY about sidequest, not a walkthrough, so don't ask me for
any help in your game, you will be ignored. It is also Spoiler-Free

2- Starmap [b002]
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
To start this sidequest, talk to the man in the church and he will
ask your help to bring the Starmap to it's former glory. Each time
you find a Constellation Magnus, bring it back to him and he will
restore the Starmap. Every Magnus gives you a reward and every 10
Magnus gives you a reward.
Draco: Dropped by the first boss in Moonguile Forest. (1)
Vela: Randomly dropped by the Shawra enemies in Moonguile Forest.
Just fight a few ones and one will eventually drop it. (2)
Puppis: In Cebalrai, give Pow Milk to the lady cooking in the house
at the left of the stable. You can find Pow Milk in the stables. (3)
Aquarius: In Pherkad, give some Pristine Water to the woman in the
house that was vandalized (the house with the painting that has
drawned mustaches on it). (4)
Pyxis: In Pherkad, talk to the little girl on the ground at the
entrance of the first area. (5)
Carina: In Nashira, examine the fish box on the right wall in the
house at the left of the magnus. (6)
Pisces: Kill the Thunderfish boss in Lesser Celestial River. (7)
Cygnus: In Cloud Passage, open the treasure chest near the red save
flower, in the last area before the boss. (8)
Triangulum: Randomly dropped by the Albiero enemies in the Cloud
Passage. Just fight a few ones and one will eventually drop it. (9)
Hydra: In Castle Elnath, after the fight with Iron Beetle V, help a
knight clean up the mess, then go see the head knight and he will
reward you with the magnus. (10)
Auriga: In Anuenue Port, enter the first house and examine the
bookshelf in the back of the house. (11)
Taurus: It's in the Ancient Library of Magic, in the History
section, it's in a treasure chest at the back of the room. (12)
Equuleus: In Holoholo Jungle, in the third area, climb down
the cliff next to the entrance and go right to find several
chests. One of them contains it. (13)
Lupus: In Opu, examine the pots in the top right corner of the
house from where the waterwheel is activated to find it. (14)
Perseus: In Opu, talk to the little girl on the ground next to
Savyna's house to get it. (15)
Crater: At the roots of the the Celestial Tree, examine the inside
of right hut to find it. (16)
Ursa Major: Randomly dropped by the Blood Leaf enemies in the
Celestial Tree. Just fight a few ones and one will eventually
drop it. (17)
Andromeda: Dropped by the boss in Trail of Souls. (18)
Corona Borealis: In the Shrine of Spirits, where the save flower
is, go in the opposite direction of it to find a treasure chest
containing it. (19)
Piscis Australis: In Duke Calbren's Manor, examine
the drums on the lower wall in the museum room to find it. (20)
Corona Australis: In the Labyrinth of Mirrors, open the
treasure chest in the second area. (21)
Virgo: Dropped by the Sikri boss in the Shrine of Spirits. (22)
Hercules: Randomly dropped by the Ray-moo enemies in the
Shrine of Spirits. Just fight a few ones and one will
eventually drop it. (23)
Cephueus: Randomly dropped by the Filler enemies in the Shrine
of Spirits. Just fight a few ones and one will eventually
drop it. (24)
Capricornus: Dropped by the Phantasm boss in the Labyrinth of
Mirrors. (25)
Ara: In Mintaka, it's the pots lined up against the left
wall inside the troops' meeting room. (26)
Lepus: In Azha, go in the passage leading from the second
floor to the third floor and in the middle of the passage,
go right to find a secret passageway leading to a treasure
chest. (27)
Serpens: It's in the old mechanic's house near the Lava
Caves in Azha, in the barrel behind the bed. (28)
Ophiuchus: Dropped by the Naiad boss in the Interdimentional
Crack of the Shrine of Winds. (29)
Cancer: Dropped by the Thalassa boss in the Interdimentional
Crack of Balancoire. (30)
Lyra: Dropped by the Despina boss in the Interdimentional Crack
of the Celestial Tree. (31)
Libra: Dropped by the Galeata boss in the Interdimentional Crack
of the Lava Caves. (32)
Delphinus: Randomly dropped by the Flobo enemies in the Ice
Cliffs of Gomeisa. Just fight a few ones and one will eventually
drop it. (33)
Sagitta: In the Komo Mai palace, give Pow Milk Yogurt to the
guard next to the room at the left. (34)
Leo: In the first treasure chest, on your left, when you land
for the first time in the Ice Cliffs of Gomeisa. (35)
Sagittarius: In the Ice Castle of Wazn, in the altar at the
back of the ritual room on the third floor to find it. (36)
Ursa Mirror: Examine the frozen fish behind the
window at the back of the room in the first house of the left
area of Cursa. (37)
Scorpius: On the fourth floor of the Imperial Fortress, go right
to the end of the corridor and go through the hole in the wall.
You will now be outside. It's in the treasure chest. (38)
Pegasus: In the Labyrinth of Duhr, examine the corpse on the
ground. (39) NOTE: Go take a look at Badaro's FAQ to find
the corpse in the labyrinth if you have a hard time.
Aries: In Algorab Village, in the major's house, examine the
pots at the left of the kitchen. (40)
Cassiopeia: In Algorab Village, in the top right house, examine
the boxes at the right of the window. (41)
Gemini: In the Tower of Zosma Dropped by Ungyo and Agyo. (42)
Boôtes: In Gemma Village, in the house with the cluckers,
talk to the man near the fire twice. (43)
Centaurus: In the entrance ofNihal Desert, inside the shelter,
examine the barrels at the left to find it. (44)
Canis Minor: In Celestial Alps, go up the slope at the entrance,
you will find a treasure chest. (45)
Canis Major: Randomly dropped by the Badwin enemies in Celestial
Alps. Just fight a few ones and one will eventually drop it. (46)
Corvus: In the Greater Celestial River, where the red save flower is,
go at the end of the passage between the cliffs at the right. There
is a hidden treasure chest containing the Magnus. (47)
Eridanus: Dropped by the Brokolis boss in Greater Celestial River. (48)
Aquila: In the Zosma Tower, after clearing the third floor of the
basement, open the treasure chest in the left corner. (49)
Cetus: In the church, talk to the old man who gave you the quest
and ask him about the next constellation magnus several times until
he finally gives it to you (go figure). (50) NOTE: You must find ALL
of the previous Magnus ( 1 to 49 ).

3- Family Tree [b003]
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
To start this sidequest, go to Pherkad, in the second area (before
the lord's mansion) and enter the house. Speak to Quzman (the old
man sitting on the bed), and he will then give you his family tree
and ask you to find his relatives around the world. NOTE: Quzman
does not count as one family member.
Taymiya: Talk to Quzman's wife after getting the Family Tree. (1)
Usaybia: Later in the game, when you can return to Pherkad, examine
the portrait of Quzman's dead ex-wife, he will sign for her. (2)
Hawqal: In Moonguile Forest, help the man catch the Bluebirds of
Happiness (the area before the Lord of The Springs). (3)
Surayj: In Cebalrai, talk to the woman in the stable with the Pows
and she will sign. (4)
Rushd: In Pherkad, in the Area with the shop and blue flower, talk
to the little girl sitting on the fence near the port and give her
a dead Bluebird to make her sign the Family Tree. (5)
Sabin: Once Rushd sign, talk to her father Sabin next to her
to make him sign too. If Nubata (Mira island) has already signed,
you'll need to give him the Naughty Novel to make him sign. The
Naughty Novel can be found in Quzman's bedside table. (6)
Sallam: After making Rushd and Sabin sign the Family Tree, talk to
Sabin's son (the brat running around near them). (7)
Al-athir: In the Lord's Mansion in Pherkad, talk to the girl in the
kitchen and give her Pow Milk Cheese to make her sign. To get Pow
Chesse, get some Pow Milk and let it sit for a long time. (8)
Maymun: In Nashira, talk to the woman on the second floor of the
warehouse where they keep the fish. (9)
Rustah: In Lesser Celestial River, go past the area where the
Thunderfish was and continue until you see a drowning kid in
the river and save him. (10)
Hisham: After saving Rustah, go on the other side of the river
and look at the end of the river to see Rustah's brother. Save
him make him sign. (11)
Qutayba: In Cloud Passage, where it was flooded, talk to the father
of the two drowning kids after saving them and show him the Family
Tree to make him sign. (12)
Tufayr: Defeat the boss _____ in the Ancient Library of Magic,
then go back in the Philosophy room and a man will be there. (13)
Tulun: In the School of Magic (right section), after Tufayr signed
the Family Tree, talk to his sister. She's in the first room,
looking at the wall. (14)
Nubata: In Parnasse Village, talk to the fat man lying down at the
entrance. If Sabin (Salaad Sud island) has already signed, you will
need to give him a Roasted Bird to make him sign (cooked Bluebird
of Hapiness in Trill's oven). (15)
Misjah: In Reverence, talk to the old woman (Quzman's ex-wife) near
the bridge and give her the Terrible Painting (found in Quzman's
house, in his dresser). (16)
Qasim: In Mintaka, near the first house across the port, talk to
the man in black. (17)
Yamin: In Cursa, talk to the woman next to the shop and show her the
Family Tree. She will only sign it if Usaybia already signed. (18)
Yunus: Go to the Ice Cliffs of Gomeisa and talk to the father
looking for his daughter. To find the daughter, go down the slope
to the next area, then up the slope at the right and go left. (19)
Yamin must sign before her.
Gabirol: After saving Yunus (his daughter), go back to talk to him
and he will sign it. (20)
Bajja: After Yamin, Yunus and Gabirol have signed the family tree,
go back to Quzman's house and talk to Yamin there and she will
sign for Bajja. (21)
Battuta: In the Labyrinth of Duhr, it's the man in a dead-end. (22)
Wahshiyah: In Gemma Village, talk to the old woman near the
entrance. (23)
Al-khatib: In Celestial Alps, after defeating the bosses, go back to
the entrance and you'll see a woman with a red dress. Talk to the
woman and the daughter, and after a few times the daugher will
ask you to push her up. Only after that will she sign. (24)
Al-rumi: She will sign once you pushed her lazy daughter up the
cliff. (25)
Tumart: In the Illusory Fortress of the Book, in the second room, go
through the second door on the right wall, there will be a mna. Save
him, and he will sign. (26)
Kemal: After Tumart has signed the Family Tree, go to Quzman's house
and talk to Tumart and he will sign for Kemal. (27)
Zhur: In Nihal Desert, go west three times from the entrance to find
a woman buried in the sand. Help her and give her Pristine Water. (28)
Asakir: Once Zhur has signed the Family Tree, go back to Nunki Valley
and talk to the man standing under the waterfall working out. (29)
Maja: After Asakir has signed the Family Tree, go back to Quzman's house
and talk to Asakir and he will sign for Maja. (30)
Rabbih: He is on the fourth floor of the Zosma Tower. He will sign if you
bring him a Delinquency Stone, Which is on the first floor of the tower's
basement. He will only sign last. (31)

Once Quzman is dead, talk to his wife to receive the rewards.

4- Animals [b004]

To start this sidequest, go to the Ice Castle of Wazn. Next, go in
the left room on the second floor and talk to the court lady. She will
ask you to bring different animals from all the islands.
Bunnycat: In the Imperial Fortress, talk to the soldier in the room on
the second floor to receive it.
Caplin (white): In Celestial Alps, at the peek of the mountain, pick
up the animal looking life a sheep.
Caplin (black): In Celestial Alps, at the left of the house, in the
bushes (it's hidden ), pick up the black Caplin.
Cloudgull: In Pherkad, talk to the man standing next to Quzman's house
and he will give you the Cloudgull. It's the guy that felt so
hopeless because his Cloudgull was in bad shape.
Clucker: In Gemma Village, talk to the woman in the house with the
cluckers to receive one.
Fantail Duckling: In Cebalrai, in the first area, talk to the girl near
the doctor's house to receive the permission to take one.
Fantail Duck (regular): In Cebalrai, in the first area, talk to the
girl near the doctor's house to receive the permission to take one.
Fantail Duck (small): In Cebalrai, in the first area, talk to the girl
near the doctor's house to receive the permission to take one.
Fluffpup: In Mintaka, inside the first house next to the port, talk
to the little girl to get a Fluffpup
Hograt: In Balancoire, in the sewers, under Lord Calbren's mansion
(entrance in the music room), pick up one of the rat-like animal.
Koa Monkey: In Rodolfo's manor in Pherkad, talk to the maid in one
of the rooms to receive the Koa Monkey.
Olifant: In Nihal Desert, go west twice from the entrance to find an
oasis full of Olifants.
Pigeon: In Celestial Tree, at the roots of the Tree, pick up one of
the pigeons.
Pollywhale: It's Pauly of Balancoire!!
Pow: In Cebalrai, talk the man taking care of the pows in the stable
to receive one. NOTE: You MUST get a Prancer first.
Prancer: In Cebalrai, talk to the man taking care of the prancers
in the stable to receive one.
Waterlark: In Opu, climb on top of Mayfee's house using the ladder
hidden at the left of her house and check out the waterwheel to get
a Waterlark. Mayfee's house is the one across the bridge, at the
left-most area of the village.

5- Misc Sidequests [b005]
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
This is not really a sidequest triggered by anything. This section
is about everything that you can do with quest Magnus (ie: Pow
Milk Cheese, Thunderfish bones). I will list them in the order that
we reach the town in which the Misc Sidequest is.
1- Sadal Suud
At the entrance of the village, on the bridge, talk to a woman
named Maynee and she will give you a pendant and ask you
to give it to her husband, Aljeemo, which is imprisonned in a
castle that you will soon reach. Give it to him and he will give you
a Magnus and go back to his wife. Later in the game, go talk
to Maynee and she will reward you.
REWARD:
- Voice 2
- Shampoo
In the ranch, be nice to the girl milking the pow and she will
reward you.
REWARD:
- Anklet of Calm Winds
2- Diadem
In the tavern, give the Popular Pickup Line to the man holding
his head, and he will reward you. (You can get the popular
pickup line in Pherkad, by giving a pressed flower to the lady
by the flower bead.)
REWARD:
- Shako
Later on, in the tavern, give a Mountain Apple to the man
sitting on the left table.
REWARD:
- Secret Recipe 9
Later on, in the tavern, give the secret information (acquired
from the maid in Correlia's palace) to the man sitting on the
left table.
REWARD:
- Creel of the Whale
After defeating Iron Beetle V, give water (any kind) to the
running soldier.
REWARD:
- Shadow Cornet
After defeating Iron Beetle V, give salty water to the woman
at the entrance of town washing up a lamp.
REWARD:
- Flash Armor
Later on, give Diadem Royal Crest to one of the soldier at
the left door leading to the great hall in the castle.
REWARD:
- Rainbow Ash
At the end of the game, when everyone are sitting in a
circle, give Apple Wine to one of the man.
REWARD:
- Flash Armor
3- Anuenue
Give celestial seeds twice to the cookie maker.
REWARD:
- Doll
In the house full of Fantail Ducks, give Rock Salt to the
woman.
REWARD:
- Deluxe Cookies.
In the right school of magic, give Popular Pickup Line
to the man on the third bench in the first room.
REWARD:
- Zeit Robe
Later in the game, give snow to the kid standing next
to the door in the left part of the school.
REWARD:
- Light Flare V
In Opu, later in the game, give the secret information
to the woman looking at the waterfall.
REWARD:

In Opu, later in the game, give a Celestial Flower to
Mayfee.
REWARD:

At the roots of the Celestial Tree, later in the game,
give Apple Vinegar to the man.

the Magnus Shop.
