| Section IV. - Purpose/What This Guide Will Cover |
+--------------------------------------------------+

This guide for the Pokemon R/B Versions for the Nintendo GameBoy will make it
clear to you what PokeMarts have what items and how much they are selling for.
The purpose of this guide is to have a quick, easy reference as to where you
can find an item. Most of the time, you have to go from town to town, looking
in every PokeMart just to find a single item. Well this FAQ will make all that
a lot easier.

Just hold the "Ctrl" button on your keyboard and tap the 'F' key. That will
bring up the Find window (if you're using Windows). Simply type in the box the
item you want, and click on Find. It'll scroll down this FAQ and find the first
place you can get the item you're looking for.

| Section V. - PokeMart Locations |
+---------------------------------+

Throughout the Pokemon R/B game there are several cities or towns, and in each
city/town, there is a building with the name "MART" on it. These buildings sell
you items such as Potions to heal your Pokemon, or PokeBalls to catch new Poke-
mon. Below are the cities and towns and the location of each PokeMart within
that city/town. Just FLY to them so you'll end up at the Pokemon Center, where
I'll be directing you from.

City Name              Location
---------              --------
Pallet Town - No PokeMarts.

Viridian City - Northeast of the Pokemon Center.

Pewter City - To the left of the Pokemon Center is a garden. Above it is the
PokeMart.

Cerulean City - To the right of the Pokemon Center is the gym. Right below it
is the PokeMart.

Lavender Town - To the right of the Pokemon Center is a cave connected to a
building. About 5 steps below the mouth of the cave is the PokeMart.

Vermilion City - To the right of the Pokemon Center is a house you cannot
enter. To the right of that is another just like it. Just below that, about 5
steps, is the PokeMart.

Celadon City - To the left of the Pokemon Center are three houses you can not
enter and to the left of that is a BIG house, Celadon Mansion. To the left of
that is a tall, big building you can't enter, and to the left of that is a HUGE
five floor PokeMart.

Fuchsia City - Directly above the Pokemon Center is a tree you can CUT. CUT it
down and walk forward a few steps. Go to the left a bit and you'll see a sign.
Above the sign is a path going left. Follow it and you'll run right into the
PokeMart.

Cinnabar Island - Dead next to the Pokemon Center on the right. If you can't
find this then you need to be shot.

Indigo Plateau - When you first enter, straight ahead is a Pokemon Center heal-
ing counter. Directly to the left of it is a tiny counter. That's the PokeMart.

Saffron City - From the Pokemon Center, head right until the road turns up. Go
up and take the second left that you can. At the very end is the PokeMart.
