About the game
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Gameboy version of the role playing game which was turned into a series
for Famicom. It's a purpose to become Hercules a resident of the heavens,
and defeat the devil king Kronos. When his level goes up, you can add someone
to the group with the help of the "10 Gods of Olympus" from the god Zeus.

Choose "beginning (left)" + "record 1 or record 2" to start the game.

There is a scene with Zeus. Choose a name for the hero. Press the B button
to open the menu, and equip the journey staff and linen clothes. Go down the
stairs to leave the temple. Go into Athena's Town which is nearby.

Go to the upper left, go into the weapon and armor shop, buy a club (60G)
and wood shield (90G), equip the hero with the new equipment, go to the
right of the weapon and armor shop to the curio shop, speak to the lady
who is behind the counter, sell (#2) the journey staff, and leave the town.
Stay nearby the town to raise the hero's LV to 5. Go back into the town,
go into the weapon and armor shop, buy steel sword (200G) and leather
breastplate (150G), equip the hero with the new equipment, go to the curio
shop, sell the old equipment, and leave the town. Go east, east, south to
Hebe Town which is nearby a broken bridge that goes to the ruins of Selene
Town.

Make sure to buy medical herb (15G) x3 at the curio shop. Go to the west
side of the town into the castle. In the castle, speak to the guard who
is standing in front of Dan (the black haired man), there is a scene, speak
to Dan, and choose "yes." Now, fight Dan (HP55). After defeating Dan, go to
the south side of the castle, speak to the guard who is blocking the way,
go upward into the throne room, speak to the king, and leave the town. Go
back to Athena's Town.

Go right, go into the house that's in the center of the town, and go up the
stairs to 2F into the shrine. In the shrine, go upward, speak to the Shinto

open the menu, choose "item" + "beach harp" to make stairs appear, go down
that stairs to B2, go to the lower left, go down the stairs to B3, go to the
right, search the treasure chest for 100G, go to the upper right, and go up
the stairs to B2, go to the lower right, search the treasure chest for 50G,
go to the upper right, and go up the stairs into the Shrine.

Search the locked door to open it, walk into the magic circle to fully
recover the duo's HP, go up the stairs to leave the shrine, and go all the
way northeast to Loran Town. (As a reminder, when the hero reaches LV7, you
can go back to Zeus' Temple to exchange Ares for Persephone (HP85/MP40) who
is a goddess but you will need a wings of travel to warp back to Loran Town.
I choose to keep Ares instead).

Go all the way to the right to the weapon and armor shop, buy steel armor
(1000G) and steel shield (2000G), equip the hero with the new equipment,
go to the upper right to the curio shop, sell the old equipment, buy charm
bracelet (640G), equip the hero with the charm braclet, leave the town, and
go west, southwest to Homer's Shrine. (As a reminder, when the hero reaches
LV12, he will be able to get Artemis (HP120 - a goddess).

Town, get on the ship, sail south of Hebe Town to Nana Town which is on an
island, get off the ship, and go clockwise to Nana Town.

helmet (2150G), equip the hero with the new equipment, sell the old equipment

to 2F, go to the upper right, speak to the queen, Homer leaves the hero, go
downward, jump off the ledge on the right to 1F into the safe room, search
the treasure chest for laurel jade, go down the stairs to B1, go downward
(the floor will give small damage to the hero), go up the stairs, open the
menu, choose "tools" + "use it (#1)" + "wings of travel" + "Athena" to warp
to the front of Athena's Town, and go into Athena's Town.

Athena's Town. (As a reminder, when the hero reaches LV14, he will be able
to get Hermes (HP165/MP63 - a god).

Go right, go into the house that's in the center of the town, and go up
the stairs to 2F into the shrine. In the shrine, go upward, speak to the

Dacape, Moruneno).

Speak to the Shinto Priest to get the trident, leave the shrine, open the
menu, choose "god (#3)" + "spell (#3)" + "Noalun (#1)" + "Arros" to warp
to the front of Arros Village, go northwest, get on the ship, sail south
along the canal, get off the ship, go west, and go all the way north to
Storm Tower.

Go left, go up the stairs to 2F, go clockwise to the upper right, go up the
stairs to 3F, go to the lower left, go up the stairs to 4F, go clockwise to
the lower right, go down the stairs to 3F, go to the left, go up the stairs
to 4F, go to the right, go up the stairs to 5F, speak to Kraken who is
blocking the way, and choose "yes." Now, fight Kraken (HP189). In battle,
use Hermes' spell of Moruneno on Kraken. After defeating Kraken, go upward,
open the menu, choose "item" + "trident" to revive Poseidon, open the menu,
choose "god (#3)" + "spell (#3)" + "Dacape (#2)" to leave the tower, open
the menu, choose "god (#3)" + "spell (#3)" + "Noalun (#1)" + "Leaneira" to
warp to the front of Leaneira Town, and raise the hero's LV to 17. (As a
reminder, when the hero reaches LV16, he will be able to get Bacchus (HP225
- a god)). Go south to Etna Shrine.

Go downward, go up the stairs to 2F, go to the left, go down the stairs to
1F, speak to Hestea, go back up the stairs to 2F, go to the right, speak to
Poseidon, walk onto the magic circle to warp to another area, jump off the
ledge, go downward (a section of the floor tiles will give the duo damage),
go down the stairs, go to the lower right, get on Poseidon's ship, sail
to the right, get off Poseidon's ship, search the treasure chest for coral
armor, get on Poseidon's ship, press the A button to submerge into the
sea where the enemies don't appear, move Poseidon's ship southwest, move
Poseidon's ship northwest, press the A button to raise Poseidon's ship,
get off Poseidon's ship, and go into Themis Village which is nearby.
(Incidentally, after getting Poseidon's ship, if the hero goes back to
Etna Shrine by himself, he will be able to get Poseidon (HP200/MP90) who
is a god to join him).

Themis Village

Go to the curio shop, buy medical herb (15G) x6, leave the village, raise
the hero's LV to 18, and go south, northwest to Baamin Dungeon.

Go to the far lower left, go down the stairs to B1, go downward, go down the
stairs to B2, go around to the upper left, go down the stairs to B3, go all
the way to the upper left, search the treasure chest for Sui of misfortune
(1-5), open the menu, choose "god (#3)" + "spell (#3)" + "Dacape (#2)" to
leave the dungeon, open the menu, choose "god (#3)" + "spell (#3)" + "Noalun
(#1)" + "Themis" to warp to the front of Themis Village, get on Poseidon's
ship, sail south until you see a shrine, get off Poseidon's ship, go all the
way east, and go into Privia Town which is nearby the bridge.

Privia Town

Go to the weapon shop, buy battle hammer (4000G) and sage's armor (4300G),
equip the hero with the new equipment, sell the old equipment at the curio
shop, leave the town, and go south, east to Popos' Fountain.

Popos' Fountain

Go right, down, search the tree to get Popos' drop, put Popos' drop into
Hermes' magic bag, search the tree again to get Popos' drop, put Popos' drop
into Hermes' magic bag, this can be done repeatedly until you have Popos'
drop x16, leave the fountain, open the menu, choose "god (#3)" + "spell (#3)"
+ "Noalun (#1)" + "Privia" to warp to the front of Privia Town, raise the
hero's LV to 19, and go north, northwest to Pirate's Tower. (As a reminder,
when the hero reaches LV19, he will be able to get Triton (HP150 - a god)).

Pirate's Tower

Go upward, go up the stairs to 2F, go counter clockwise to the lower left to
a wall, fall thru a hidden trap tile on the floor that's in the inner corner
of that wall to 1F, go down the stairs that's nearby to B1, go counter
clockwise to the upper right, get on the Pirate's ship, go to the right, go
thru the door, go to the right, go down the stairs, and speak to the old man
who is blocking the way. Now, fight Dagon (HP207). After defeating Dagon,
search the treasure chest for prison key, go back up the stairs, go to the
left, go thru the door, go to the left, get off the Pirate's ship, open the
menu, choose "god (#3)" + "spell (#3)" + "Dacape (#2)" to leave the tower,
open the menu, choose "god (#3)" + "spell (#3)" + "Noalun (#1)" + "Kamragi"
to warp to the front of Kamragi Village, go west, get on Poseidon's ship,
sail clockwise the shoreline all the way along to Marea Village Which is on
a medium size island that's south of Menai Castle and southeast of Kamragi
Village, and go into Marea Village.

Marea Village

Go to the right, go into the curio shop, and buy medical herb (15G) x16.
From the entrance, go counter clockwise to the upper right, speak to the
old man who is behind the counter, choose "yes" three times to give him the
door key, pirate's key, prison key to make a bridge appear nearby, go to the
upper left, fall thru the hole into a cave, (one enemy of Drain Meal gives
EXP1023), go down, right, search the treasure chest for the key of light, go
to the lower right, raise the hero's LV to 26, (as a reminder, when the hero
reaches LV23, he will be able to get Apollon (HP185/MP100 - a god); when the
hero reaches LV26, he will be able to get Demeter (HP105/MP204 - a goddess)),
go up the stairs, leave the village, open the menu, choose "god (#3)" +
"spell (#3)" + "Noalun (#1)" + "Loran" to warp to the front of Loran Town,
and go all the way southwest back to the Shrine.

Go to the left, search the locked door to open it with the key of light,
search the treasure chest for hope of Sui (2-5), go to the right, go back
up the stairs to leave the shrine, open the menu, choose "god (#3)" + "spell

all the way northwest back to the Shrine.

+ "spell (#3)" + "Noalun (#1)" + "Puribia" to warp to the front of Puribia
Town, go all the way west, go north, get on Poseidon's ship, sail all
the way counter clockwise along the shoreline to Cheva Village, get off
Poseidon's ship, and go into Cheva Village.

into the magic bag, leave the village, raise the hero's LV to 30 in Marea

Athena (HP170 - a god)), get on Poseidon's ship, press the A button to
submerge into the sea where the enemies don't appear, move Poseidon's ship
north, move Poseidon's ship into the cave, move Poseidon's ship east, north,
move Poseidon's ship all the way to the west top corner, press the A button
to raise Poseidon's ship, get off Poseidon's ship, go upward, and go down
the stairs into the graveyard.

Go to the upper left, stand in front of Jason's grave, open the menu, choose
"item" + "Jason's sword" to insert the sword into Jason's grave, go downward,

ship all the way east, move Poseidon's ship north to exit the cave, move
Poseidon's ship north, press the A button to raise Poseidon's ship, get off
Poseidon's ship, and go all the way east to Yellow Fountain Cave.

go upward, speak to Fake Hades. Now, fight Fake Hades (HP150). In battle,
use Hermes' spell of Moruneno on Fake Hades. After defeating Fake Hades,
fight Orcus (HP210). After defeating Orcus, open the menu, choose "god (#3)"
+ "spell (#3)" + "Dacape (#2)" to leave the tower, defeat the enemies
nearby the tower until Hermes is dead, re-enter the tower, speak to Hades
(HP180/MP168) who is a god with powerful attack spells to make him join
the hero, leave the tower, open the menu, choose "tool (#1)" + "use it" +
"wings of prayer" + "Cheva" to warp to the front of Cheva Village, raise
the hero's LV to 31 in Marea Village, get on Poseidon's ship, press the
A button to submerge into the sea where the enemies don't appear, move
Poseidon's ship counter clockwise along the rocks until Poseidon's ship
is nearby a cave, don't enter the cave as yet, press the A button to raise
Poseidon's ship, get off Poseidon's ship, and go northwest to a Shrine.

Go to the far lower right to find a giant tree by itself, search the giant
tree to get a recovery seed, put the recovery seed into the hero's magic
bag, search the giant tree again to get a recovery seed, put the recovery

recovery seed x14, leave the shrine, go southeast, get on Poseidon's ship,
press the A button to submerge into the sea where the enemies don't appear,
and move Poseidon's ship into the Bottom of the Sea Cave.

Move Poseidon's ship east to where there are two giant pillars, press the
A button to raise Poseidon's ship, get off Poseidon's ship, search the left

all the way north, get off Poseidon's ship, go upward, go up the stairs to
1F, go to the lower right, go down the stairs to B1, go to the left, search
the treasure chest for Zeus' shield, equip the hero with Zeus' shield, go to
the right, go up the stairs to 1F, go to the upper left, go down the stairs
to B1, get on Poseidon's ship, press the A button to submerge into the sea
where the enemies don't appear, move Poseidon's ship northeast to exit the
cave, move Poseidon's ship all the way north, move Poseidon's ship northwest,
press the A button to raise Poseidon's ship, get off Poseidon's ship, and go
into Elm Town.

of Hebe Town, get on Poseidon's ship, move Poseidon's ship east, move
Poseidon's ship all the north to second Shrine which is far northeast of
Hebe Town, get off Poseidon's ship, and go into the Shrine.

move Poseidon's ship into the cave, and press the A button to raise

Sail Poseidon's ship behind the Shinto priest who is nearby, get off
Poseidon's ship, go upward, search the treasure chest for the hero's

front of the Shinto Priest who is nearby, press the A button to submerge
into the sea where the enemies don't appear, leave the cave, press the
A button to raise Poseidon's ship, open the menu, choose "tool (#1)" +
"use it" + "wings of prayer" + "Elm" to warp to the front of Elm Town,
go west, north, go all the way east, go south, east, go all the way north,
and go into the Shrine which is northeast of Elm Town. (Raise the hero's

"wings of prayer" + "Cheva" to warp to the front of Cheva Village, get on
