| | Introduction | |
|_|-----------------------|_|
Hi, it's me shaeki here. This is my first IN-DEPTH FAQ I've ever created and I
tried my best to make it good. You are about to read an Item/Crops In-depth
FAQ of Harvest Moon GBC, created by shaeki, nobody else. My FAQ/Walkthrough
lists all the items that you can find in the game, etc.
I've also written a posted FAQ/Walkthrough of Yu-gi-oh!: Dungeon Dice
Monsters. If you'd like to read it, go here:
http://db.gamefaqs.com/portable/gbadvance/file/yu_gi_oh_ddm_c.txt
Enough talking. Let's go!

=Ann - Watering Can Upgrade=
One day, Ann will be waiting for you outside in the morning. Ann says that she
upgrade you Watering Can into a Sprinkler, but it will take her 7 days to do
it. You can still use your old watering can to water crops, and after seven
days, a sprinkler will be on sale for 2000 G. You'll lose your watering can
after you buy a sprinkler.
------------------------------------
=Harvest Sprites - Hoe Upgrade=
Talk to one of the Harvest Sprites one day, and he will ask you if your hoe is
plowing well. Say "Yes" and he will borrow your hoe to make it better. He
wants you to return in 24 REAL HOURS so he can finish upgrading your hoe. Turn
off your Gameboy and wait...
------------------------------------
=Harvest Sprites - Sickle Upgrade=
Talk to one of the Harvest Sprites one day, and he will ask you if your sickle
is sharp enough. Say "Yes" and he will borrow your sickle to make it better.
He wants you to return in 12 REAL HOURS so he can finish upgrading your
sickle. Turn off your Gameboy and wait...
------------------------------------
=Earthquake Event=
Sometime in summer an earthquake will occur. The carpenter will arrive and
asks if you are all right. Head to the Goddess's Cave and you will see that
one of the Sprites' has been sleeping under a rock! Just kidding. Head to the
Goddess's Cave and you will see that one of the Sprites' is trapped under a
rock! Use your hammer to bash the rock and the Sprite will be set free. After
that, go to the northern room of the cave. You'll notice that the rock that
was blocking the lake is gone. Throw you axe in the lake and the Goddess will
appear. She will ask you if you have dropped your GOLDEN AXE in the water. Say
"No" and she will give you the Golden Axe for telling the truth.
------------------------------------
=Carpenter - Hammer Upgrade=
After your 1st House Extension, the Carpenter will give you a Golden Hammer
for free.
------------------------------------
=Free Horse=
On the 10th of Spring a lost baby horse will appear at your farm's gate and
you will have to take care of it.
------------------------------------
=Picnic=
On the 27th of Spring, Nina will ask if her and her friends can have a picnic
at your farm. Say "Yes" and she will come back on the 28th with her friends.
Talk to all three of the girls and the picnic will be over, and it will be 6
p.m.
------------------------------------
=Egg Buyer=
Once you have owned a chicken for a while, a little girl will come to your
farm and ask you if she can buy an egg. If you allow her to buy an egg, then
she will pay 75 G for it. The girl will come back a few days later, and she
will tell you that she paid too much for the egg, and wants 5 G back. That is
your decision though.
------------------------------------
=Summer Night=
On the 20th of Summer, Ann and Eve might come over to your farm at 6 p.m. and
invite you to join the cooler night with them. Talk to all three girls and
you'll appear at your farm at 9 p.m.
------------------------------------
=Ellen's Bird=
Ellen will come in the morning and ask you to find her lost bird. Go to your
grain silo post sign and you will see a bird on top of it. Press the A button
while facing the bird and Ellen will arrive. Then she'll leave without
recapturing her birdie.
Also, there is a little glitch in the game. When Ellen loses her bird, your
cows' feet will turn into birds!
------------------------------------
=Juice Event=
One day, Eve will be waiting for you outside in the morning. She'll give you a
Wild Grape Juice drink to try out, and then she'll leave. She will now sell
Wild Grape Juice. Also, next time she gives you some more juice to try, she
will sell Apple Juice. One your cows begin to produce milk, she'll have Milk
for sale too.
------------------------------------
=Christmas Eve Night=
On the 24th day of winter, all the girls in the village will invite you to

if you can go look for her. Go to the Goddess's Cave and Nina will be there.
------------------------------------
=Year Evaluation=

you your year-end evaluation. He will tell you...
-the number of chickens you own
-the number of cows you own
-the amount of soil you have cultivated
-the total amount of crops you've shipped
-the type of house you own
-your maximum cow affection rate
-your amount of money
-your happiness rating
-the number of Power Berries you've eaten
Grandpa will give you a gift if you have met the guidelines of being a Ranch
Master. If not, he will enlarge your farm so you have more work to do...
