Hello, welcome to the version 1.3 of “Power Quest: An Unofficial Walkthrough
Guide” which covers the English and Story Mode of the game.
Have you ever watched an anime called “Medabots”? Well, you will find the
game similar to that anime. I found the game very cool for its fighting-rpg
like genre. Hmmm… maybe that’s why I had this idea sharing you my knowledge
about this game, anyway please enjoy reading this as I update it time to
time.
If you feel like contributing information to my work, please feel free
mailing me. It doesn’t matter how much you can contribute, little information
can make difference.

every time you enter the shop.
<Buy> Allows you to buy any upgrade parts and accessories for your model.

things much easier, believe me.)
-> Let’s Battle
Now that everything fixed, lets try out our new model shall we?
Once your outside, there are 4 available locations where you can battle.(for
now)
Here’s a little map I made.

*****************************************************************************
Location: Playground
Skills : Very Easy
Credits : 20
*****************************************************************************
Ok, let’s try the playground first, it’s the nearest anyway. Don’t worry,
everyone one here is very lame, you don’t even have to exert too much effort
on this one. Just do a combo attack on them, there done. The only thing I
hate about this place is the cheap credits they gave you.
*****************************************************************************
Location: School Ground
Skills : Easy
Credits : 50
*****************************************************************************
Let’s try the school yard. Now, if you don’t know how to perform a combo,
it’s fine, but try to guard more in here, especially when your fighting
Speed. You’ll earn more credits here than the playground. But this is not my
ideal place for earning credits. Let’s try the…
*****************************************************************************
Location: Japanese Castle
Skills : Moderate
Credits : 100
*****************************************************************************
Now let’s battle with the guys in here. Max is not quite hard to beat, just
don’t let go of your guard and you’ll be fine. Perform a combo if you can.
Now, if you lose, don’t worry they won’t take your credits , just try again.
*****************************************************************************
Location: Factory
Skills : Heavy Moderate
Credits : 200
*****************************************************************************
Be very careful in fighting here, all models in here have a special parts,
and those parts allow them to perform a special combo attack.(don’t worry
you’ll have one too later.)Gong is pretty hard to beat in here, they always
keep their guards up. If you win any battle here, they’ll give you enough
credits to earn the next upgrade part.
|Side Events|
- At random occasion, you’ll notice a red guy approaching towards you.
He’s the announcer of the tournament, but he came to challenge you to
a battle. He’s using a Max model. Be VERY careful on this one, his
attack are very strong and he always guards himself, so its pretty
hard to hit him. The thing here is, don’t jump on him, he’ll just
counter you. And oh yeah, he has a Special Part too. Just keep your
guard up and everything will be fine. You’ll get instant 1000 credits
if you win.
- Now, if you have enough credits, go buy the next upgrade part.
*****************************************************************************
The Bad Hyena Gang
Location : Playground(leaders)
Model : Gong(all)
Credits : 1,060
*****************************************************************************
Go to the playground. There’s been a rumor that a gang has been destroying
models and they might come to town. Alright, the gang arrived and you have to
face them, one by one.
Be sure you have an upgrade part with you. Defeat the junior members of the
gang that is roaming around the town.(it’s actually following you)Don’t
worry, they’re easy to beat. After you beat the junior members, its time to
face the leaders.
Enter the playground and fight the Colonel. You can easily defeat this guy.
After the battle, you have to face the leader, General. There’s a guy called
Professor with him. They have this jamming device that messes with your
control, so you can’t actually win this battle. Just lose this one and go to
the shop. The owner will paint your model some anti-jamming paint, so the
Professor can’t mess with your controls. Now, after the adjustments go back
to the playground and teach those punks a lesson.(you have to face Colonel
again.)After you’ve beaten the gang they’ll go away. You’ll earn 1,000
credits for your efforts.
-> Battle Continues
Alright! You defeated the Hyena gang, it’s time to continue your training. Go
fight in the Factory to gain credits easily. Go buy the Lv.2 parts(it’s now
available)and sell your own if you don’t have enough credits. Go win more
battles(many, many battles)then go to the school ground to meet up with Ann,
a modeler too. After that battle some more until the stadium flags are up.
****************************************************************************
Spring Tournament
Location : Stadium
Model : Scientist(Gong), General(Gong), Ann(Speed)
Credits : 10,000
***************************************************************************
The flags are up, so it finally started, the Spring Tournament. When you
fight here you’ll notice that in every battle you use your remaining health.
But don’t worry a thing in here, everything’s easy. First you fight with the
scientist. His using a gong type, but pretty weak. Next, you’ll battle the
defeated General, which you’ll defeat again very easily. And lastly, Ann.
Beware of her Speed model, its pretty fast. Sometimes she looses her guard,
so that the chance to hit her. After you won the tournament, you’ll be
rewarded 10,000 credits.
-> Battle Continues 2
Alright! You won the Spring Tournament, and the prize money, so you can buy
some parts and accessories. Anyway go on and continue to battle some more. If
you get bored from the lame fighters around the Factory or the Japanese
Castle, why don’t you try challenging the Scientist? He’s in the Lab, just
above the shop. If you can’t beat this guy, don’t worry I’ll detail them
later in the walkthrough.
|Side Events|
- After you won the Spring Tournament, you can now buy the Level 3 parts
from the shop. (It will appear only after the tournament)
- The announcer probably will appear more often from now on, so always be
ready.
After some battles, go to the playground to meet up with Louise. You’ll
receive a letter from the Japanese Castle, saying that he wishes to challenge
you. This will be a big battle so tune your model up and proceed to the
Castle.
*****************************************************************************
The Japanese Castle Challenge
Location : Japanese Castle
Models : Peking Duck(Axe), Karen(Speed), Won(Lon)
Credits : 40,000(believe it or not)
*****************************************************************************
Once you enter, Peking Duck will fight you. His Axe is better than any
ordinary Axe(but not strong as the Scientist’). Always remember to guard, and
watch his moves carefully. Next you’ll battle Karen and her Speed model. This
one is better than Ann(I think so), I don’t know exactly why, but you’ll
notice it too.
Once defeated Karen you will face Won, he’s using a Lon type. At first, you
may think his really hard but, he really stinks. At my fight with him, he’s
always using the Lightning Kick. If you think you can’t beat him, don’t worry
I’ll detail him later in the walkthrough. If you mange to win, you’ll get
40,000 credits !! (now you can buy the accessories)
-> Battle Continues III
After the castle challenge, you may want to spend time saving credits so go
on with the battles. Now, if you have enough money go and buy the Level 3
parts if you don’t have one yet.
-> Goodbye, Louise
After some battles go to the School Grounds, you’ll find Louise in the rooftop.
He’s moving away so he’s saying his goodbyes to you. You and Louise will have
your final battle. His using a Borot type(I’ll detail about Borot later). Just
hit him, he’s very weak. After the battle you’ll receive the SPECIAL PART, which
allows you to do a special move.
-> Battle Continues IV
Now, this will be your last chance to buy all things you need. Fight battles as
many as you want(now it’s easy, coz you got the Special Part with you) until
people starts saying that the tournament is about to start.
********************************************************************************
King of Modelers: The National Tournament
Location : Stadium
Models : General(Gong), Ann(Speed), Won(Lon), Don Quixote(Max)
Prize : “King of Modelers”
********************************************************************************
Finally, the last tournament you’ll battle. The rules are the same as the Spring
tournament. First opponent, General. He’s using his usual Gong type, which
didn’t improve at all. Next battle, Ann and Speed. Go with the guarding again
until you manage to hit her. Now, make sure you still have at least half of your
energy. Now it’s Won’s turn to be defeated. His Lon is pretty fast(at least in
my game),be sure to guard and all is O.K.
After the three straight battles you have to fight the Don Quixote and his Max.
Remember, you have the Special Part, use it. Just do some punches and perform
the finishing move, WINNING.
The game ends ones you won the National Tournament so I hope you enjoyed playing
even though the game ends quickly.

beat). Its easy to dodge away from.

stun)especially when he counters you.
Blitz Roll – Easy to dodge, block or just throw a Death
Ball.
Don Quixote & Max : Aura Wave - Just block it or dodge it.
