Yes!! Streetfighter 3 has finally made it home to the Dreamcast!! Even
though it may not be Third Strike this is one truly awsome experience
for the streetfighter enthusiast. Packed in one GD-rom comes both
Streetfighter 3: Next Generation and Streetfighter 3: Giant Attack. Play
as new comers Alex, Oro, Elena or our old time favorites like Ryu and
Ken as you fight your way through to see who is the strongest fighter in
the world. Each with three super arts to choose from, except for the all
powerul Gouki(akuma) which has four. Thanx go out to Nl for spell
checking this.......I ain't stupid, just lazy at going through and spell
checkin. and Ac for using hiz credit card to buy this game. Check out
their site.....why u say...well I have some stuff for you to see,,it
ain't much but it'll make your funny bone twitch>>

This can be done on both games: Streetfighter 3 New Generation, and
Streetfighter 3 Giant Attack:
    From the main menu of any game, either Next Generation or Giant
Attack.....highlight  OPTION. Then press and hold the L and R buttons.
While holding the L and R buttons, press START, this will take you to
the options screen.(remember not to let go of L and R,keep holding the L
and R buttons til you see the Extra options pop up). Highlight the GAME
OPTIONS and press Left, Left, X,  X, Right, Right. Then Highlight the
BUTTON CONFIGURATION and press Left, Left, Y, Y, Right, Right. Then
Highlight the  SCREEN ADJUST and press Left, Left, X, Y, Right, Right.
Then Highlight  the SOUND OPTION and press Left, Left, Y, X, Right,
Right. If done correct you will see the words: "EXTRA OPTION" under the
Sound option. Its not that hard so you should get it the first time.
    **What this does: When you go to the Extra Options, you can adjust
different settings to make the game a little more interesting:
1. You can add more bars to your super. From 1-6..or you can go ahead
and cheat and choose infinite super arts.(NOTE: you have the option to
adjust both players super arts bar)

2. You can put the EX move to "free" What this does is when you perform
an Ex move it doesn't waste your energy.(example::if you choose Ryu and
perform an Ex fireball>> down, forward+ any 2 punches, your character
should glow yellow and the fireball will hit multiple times. The Ex move
works with everyone, except Gouki(akuma) for what reason why it
doesn't,,I don't know.

3. Dramatic Mode: I have no idea what this does,,,but I think if you
turn it off the games A.I won't be hard to play against.(but then why
would you turn it off, unless you don't know how to play)

4. Stun Gauge: You can adjust the stun bar where as you get hit the bar
won't go down, it will keep filling up til you get dizzy and you get
back to normal.

5. Guard Gauge: do 1 of 3 things here:
    a. You can take off the blocking.
    b. You can make it so that evertime you block it automatically
parries.
    c. Or you can just leave it normal.
6. Life Display: You can take off the life bar. It doesn'tn mean that
you'll have infinite life, you just can't see it.

7. Super arts bar display: same as the life display. (note: when you do
both of these at the same time you'll only see the time and points you
have.)

8. 1 button super arts: I don't suggest you do this because it takes
away the fun of doing combos and actually performing the supers
manually. But if you do decide to turn it on heres an example::Say you
choose Ken, and you choose the Shryuu Reppa(rising dragon,,down,
forward, down forward+kick repeatedly) as your super...now when your
super bar fills up just press any kick button.

Clean Pause::(this can also be done in Marvel vs. Capcom)
    While playing the game at any time you want press Pause, then press
X and Y at the same time. This will give you a clear shot of the
action.(I stumbled on  this trick after I wanted to go get something and
pressed pause and put my controller down, I accidentally pressd X and Y
and BOOYA!!)

Secret Characters:

Gouki:(only in giant attack)
    Go to Sean and press up.
Gill:(in both versions of stf 3)
    All you have to do is pass the game with any character, then go to
the character select screen go to Sean, then press up on the D-pad 2
times. It doesn't matter if you continue or have the difficulty setting
at its lowest.

Fight against Gouki:(only in giant attack)(I say again, my friend passed
this on to me, where she got them I havn't the slightest clue)
    Choose any character you wish. Get 2 perfects within the whole span
of the game your playing and DO NOT lose any rounds!! (example: If you
choose Ken and your first fight is against Hugo, beat him both times. if
you happen to loose one round out of the 3 you have to start all over.)
Then when you get to your Rival at the end, Gouki will come in and
Perform the Shun-goku-satsu(raging demon) on your oponent.

Fight against Shin Gouki:(only in giant attack)chiisai also sent me this
trick so where she got it from I don't know. whoever she got it from
thanx.

    Choose any character you wish. Get 2 perfects within the whole span
of the game your playing and DO NOT lose any rounds!! (example: If you
choose Ibuki and your first fight is against ORO, beat him both times.
if you happen to loose one round out of the 3 you have to start all
over. And you cannot continue) Then when you get to your Rival at the
end, Gouki will come in and Perform the Shun-goku-satsu(raging demon) on
your oponent. Now you have to defeat Gouki both times, but on the second
round you have to finish him with a super art. If you loose here then
its over, you lost your chance to fight against Shin Gouki, but not
gouki, you can keep continuing. If you happen to get to Shin Gouki you
can continue. An easy way to do this is to choose Gouki in his normal
form and pick the Mettsatsu-Gou-hado(super fireball) as your super art,
and in the extra options menu put the infinite super art on. Then in
every round just perform the super in the air and you should get through
it with almost all perfects.

Get to play as Shin Gouki:(only in giant attack)

    Go through the "Fight against Shin Gouki" pattern above and if you
beat him he he will be selectable. To select him go to Gouki and Hold
start and press any button. Press High Kick for the kool looking White
haired Shin Gouki.(my personal fav)the only thing that sux is that he
has only 2 colors, white and dark violet.

Cheesy hit:(When my friend Chiisai came to visit her relatives near here
she dropped by and did this trick)
    There are 2 ways to do this simple little hit.>>
1. At the end of any round finish your opponent with either a light
punch or light kick. This will send your opponent falling to the floor,
but quickly press forward 2 times and press Hard punch.
2. The easier way is to press either light punch or kick to make them
fall down in place, then hold down and press either Hard punch or Hard
kick. . It may not work with all the characters so you may want to plug
in a second controller and try it with everyone, this can also be done
in Streetfigher 3: third strike.
Doing any of these 2 cheese hits will send your opponent flying across
the screen like a Biatch on payday.
