Tips
Not all Forcejewels are very effective in stopping your opponents,
whereas some, you may need to use discretion before utilizing them.
Here are a few tips to using each Forcejewel:
1 Force March
-Can be quite effective when opponents are near Precioustones.
-It would be wise to use it whenever you want opponents to
lose a lot of rings because of a Combo they may have had.
6 Force March
-Not really useful anywhere since your opponents probably
could use it to their advantage.
-Good when opponents are one or two spaces away from
the Precioustone.
Barrier Amber
-Wouldn’t be wise to use on the first to Train Carts
in Riot Train since your opponents can just go
around you in a different direction.
-Good to use when you’re ahead of the pack and
well on your way to the Precioustone.
-Excellent to use when you’re on your way to
the last Precioustone in Nature Zone.
Battle Ruby
-Wouldn’t be good to use if you’re low on
rings for there’s a chance that you could
lose a battle and a turn in the process.
-Good to use when most opponents are
low on rings so that if they lose,
you can take advantage of their loss
of a turn by moving closer to them
and/or the Precioustone.
Blockite
-Would be wise to use if you notice
any opponents who have Forcejewels
like a 1 or 6 Force March, a
Theif’s Eye, etc.
-It would be advised that you use
this Forcejewel when you’re well
on your way to getting the last
Precioustone so that the trouble
you may encounter along the way
there will be minimized somewhat.
Carbuncle
-Use whatever Forcejewels you can before the Carbuncle
eats them all up
Chamelionite
-Not recommended for use when
you’re very close to the
Precioustone (especially for
the Last Precioustone) since
the Chamelionite could very
well transform into a
Forcejewel that may mess
you up quite a bit.
Curse Opal
-It would be wise to use
it on a person who is
either in First Place,
has a lot of Forcejewels,
or is close to the
Precioustone.
Deletite
-Good to use on characters
who have Forcejewels that
can really mess you up later on.
-It can be quite humorous (for
you that is) when you use this
Forcejewel on the person in
first place and he/she has a
ton of Forcejewels he may have
needed to win.
Duplichaos
-Good to use if you have an item like a Speedarld.
-The best Forcejewel to duplicate
would definitely be Preciousite. That
would prove to be very beneficial for you.
-Try duplicating Forcejewels that
prevent movement, for example, Stopnite.
-Duplicating Forcejewels like Ringidium
would also help you quite a bit if you’re
at a loss for rings.
Fivealive
-Not really good to use under any
circumstances, since you could arrive
at the Precioustone and, coincidentally,
you’ll only need to move a few more spaces
but you could only move 5. The only
possible good time to use this is if
you’re far away and it’s the Last Precioustone.
Foolmoon
-Only possible good moment to use this
Forcejewel would be if you are close to
the Precioustone, you only have high
cards and you need a low card.
Geasdain
-I find that using this Forcejewel
always ends up helping the victim
you use it on. Someway or another,
your opponents are able to, somehow
use this Forcejewel to their advantage
getting you quite frustrated.
Hi-Speederald
-If you feel unconfident in your
Battle skills, I’d recommend you
using this in Battle. However, be
careful for there is a higher chance
of you getting the Eggman Card if
you’re not picking exclusively from
yourself.
-In Battle, you can use this
Forcejewel to use three 1’s.
In that way, if your enemy’s HP is 3,
no matter what, you’ll get Critical.
Hypnotite
-Can be extremely useful for you in
preventing your opponents from
reaching the Precioustone, especially
the Last Precioustone. If you know a
certain number that your opponents may
need to reach the Precioustone, stop
the roulette on that number in an
attempt to stall for time, giving
you a chance at the Precioustone.
Lose Quartz
-Unless you are Gamma, and you
continuously use a 4, 5, or a 6,
this Forcejewel is pretty much useless.
Never use it for it’ll just result in
you losing a lot of rings. Gamma,
however, can use this Forcejewel to
his advantage since he is immune to
the Minus Ring Spaces, provided he
chooses a 4, 5, or a 6.
Low Moonstone
-Good to use when you have low card
remaining. That way, if you head
into battle, your low cards can be
put to good use.
-Be careful when you’re using this
since the HP for Precioustone Bosses
also decreases which your opponents
can use to their advantage.
Maharajite
-Useful at any time in the game.
If you have a lot of low cards,
exchange it with your opponent to
get a high card in return.
-The best time to use it would be
when you don’t have a lot of cards,
and all of your remaining cards are
either 1’s or 2’s.
Magnifire
-It goes without saying that this
Forcejewel would be best used on the
character in First Place. This would
really mess them up.
Max-Speederald
-It would be a waste to use such a
valuable Forcejewel in a battle. You’re
better off using a different Speedarld
or just using your cards as you normally
would.
-It would be recommendable that you use
it on the turn after you get a Precioustone.
That way you could easily get ahead of
your opponents and possibly get the next
Precioustone way ahead of them.
Medium
-Especially good to use if you’re very
far away from the Precioustone whilst all
other opponents are well on their way to
getting the Precioustone. This will help
you get an advantage. Using a Speedarld
after using this Forcejewel will also
greatly help you to proceed to the
Precioustone before your opponents.
Packlite
-Good to use if you are far away
from the Precioustone and/or
someone is very close to it.
Preciousite
-An excellent Forcejewel but it would be
pointless to use if you’re close to the
Precioustone already. I’d recommend
Using it when you are very far away from it
-A good time to use it would be for the
final Precioustone, particularly right
after it appears on the board. That would
definitely give you an advantage.
Reducite
-For obvious reasons, don’t reduce your area
for anyone other than yourself. Unless you
want to be nice, reduce it for your friend,
but NEVER for the computer.
Ringidium
-I’d recommend that you use this
Forcejewel whilst you are on your
Combo 4, or Combo 5 as far as Ring
Spaces go, so you can thoroughly benefit
from this Forcejewel.
Shield Quartz
-I’d recommend you use this Forcejewel when
you are on your way to getting the
Final Precioustone. That way you can make
it without getting into trouble because
of your opponents’ Forcejewels.
Shuffire
-Good to use, obviously, when you have a
not-so-good Forcejewel and your opponents
have Forcejewels that you may potentially
need in order to either mess them up or
to get to the Precioustone.
Sonic-Speederald
-Not really much of a strategy for this
Forcejewel. Just use your instinct as to
when you should use it the most. Personally,
the only time I use it is on the following
turn after I get the Precioustone. That way,
I may end up closer to the next one, but
it’s highly unlikely I’d move even further
away from it unless I was on Riot Train
or Fourth Dimension Space.
Speederald
-It goes without saying that at almost
any point and time, this Forcejewel can
really help you out. Save it, especially, for
when you’re getting to Precioustones
and/or you’re facing bosses with high HP.
Stopnite
-Definitely, the best time and place to use
this item would be right in front of a
Precioustone or at an intersection whereby
your opponents need to cross in order to
get to the Precioustone. This Forcejewel
can really put a halt on their plans for a while.
-Be cautious of where you place this Forcejewel.
Observe your surroundings and see if there’s anyway
your opponents can get around the Stopnite.
If they can, maybe then wouldn’t be the best
time to use it.
Swap Jewel
-You could easily use this to your advantage
in getting closer to the Precioustone, but,
you could also exchange places with a character,
sending you further away from your original position.
Don’t press your luck.
-It would advisable that you use a Magnifire,
if you haven’t done so already, on the character
who’s close to the Precioustone, so then,
provided they don’t get the Precioustone on their
next turn, you’ll have a higher chance of trading
places with them.
Thief’s Eye
-Good to use if your opponent has only one
Forcejewel (if they have more, you could receive
one you didn’t want in the first place) and it’s
one that you really need in order to reach the
Precioustone, or even just to mess them up.
Teleport Ruby
-The best opportunity to use this Forcejewel
would be when you are far away from the rest of
the pack who are all near the Precioustone. That
way, whomever you teleport close to, you’ll
teleport nearer to the Precioustone as opposed
to being transported to a space far away from
the Precioustone.
Transfire
-If you stop it on the right person, you
Could really mess someone up by bringing
them further away from the Precioustone
when they were close to it in the first place.
-Be careful. Since you need to stop the
roulette, you could, potentially, stop it
on the wrong character, possibly resulting
in you sending an opponent closer to the
Precioustone!
Turbo-Speederald
-I wouldn’t recommend using this Forcejewel
in battle but if you’re not really good at timing
with the cards, then maybe I’d suggest you use
this Speedarld but a Hi-Speedarld would be more
recommendable in such an instance.
Warp Crystal
-It goes without saying that using this
Forcejewel when you’re near a Precioustone
is simply idiotic and it does seem obvious
but you wouldn’t believe the stories
I could tell you.
-Best time to use it is on the turn following
the turn when you got the Precioustone.
You may end up closer to the next one, or,
although are, even further away from it.
Warponite
-Would be best to use it when one or more
characters are lose to the Precioustone
and you are quite far away from it.
Wastone
-I would advise you to use it on a character
that has a lot of Forcejewels on their hands.
But, be careful, for they could use a
Forcejewel that may mess you up in the process.
-I’d also recommend using this Forcejewel on
a character who has a not-so-good Forcejewel
that could end up proving to be detrimental
for him, for example, a Fivealive.

8. Mini-Games
This section gives advice and detailed information on
every single Mini-Game in Sonic Shuffle. Use the
following advice to your advantage (just as soon this
section is filled in in a later version...)!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
9. Characters
This information on each character should help you decide
who your partner should be for each respective board:
Sonic
Tails
Knuckles
Amy
Gamma
Big
Chao
Super Sonic
* Detailed information on each of the characters will come in
a later version.
All modes are covered in this guide, obviously, with the
exception of "File Select".
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
11. Story Mode
Story Mode has you saving Dream Realm (?) from being destroyed from
Void's evil ways. Void has destroyed the Master Precioustone
(reminds me of Knuckles' Master Emerald...) and now the guardian
of light, Illumina has disappeared. Lumina enlists the help
of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy to help her to restore Dream
Realm before Void destroys it all. Can they save Dream Realm
in time before Void becomes all powerful? Only time will tell...
Journey through to Emerald Coast, Fire Bird, Nature Zone, Riot
Train and the Fourth Dimension on all of which you must locate
the 7 Precioustones. Locate them ASAP and restore each of the
world's before Void's darkness spreads too fast and it becomes
permanent. Journey thourgh each of the levels and after the Fourth
Dimension, you may need to confront Void for a final showdown.
Can you make it that far? Don't give up hope!
For more detailed information on each of the boards, view the
Boards section.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
12. Versus Mode
Get your friends together (or play with computer-controlled
characters) and battle to get as many Emblems as possible! Rules
are the same as they are in Story Mode except for the addition of
Dueling whenever two people land on the same space. Otherwise,
simply choose a character, choose the board you wanna play on,
choose the number of Precioustones, and get this party started!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
13. Tutorial
Simply a mode that teaches you about the game. Teaches
you about the following criteria:
-Emblems
-Rings
-Precioustones
-Spaces
Select this mode if you're a newcomer to the game.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
14. Sonic Room
Come here and relax after your lengthy games and battles.
Here, you can store all your unlockables from Story Mode and
Versus Mode whilst also being able to relive your favorite moments
from the Photo Album. Overtime, after conditions are met, numerous
things will be added to the recreation room. For instance:
-Notebook (You can adjust game settings.)
-Toy Box (You can play any Mini-Game you've unlocked.)
-Cacti (Your reward for unlocking Mini-Games. The number of
cacti will increase with more Mini-Games.)
-Fish Tank (Your reward for unlocking Mini-Events. The number of
fish will increase with more Mini-Events.)
-Sonic Doll (Your reward for beating a Versus Mode game with Sonic.)
-Tails Doll (Your reward for beating a Versus Mode game with Tails.)
-Knuckles Doll (Your reward for beating a Versus Mode game with
Knuckles.)
-Amy Doll (Your reward for beating a Versus Mode game with Amy.)
-Chao Doll (Your reward for beating a Versus Mode game with Chao.)
-Super Sonic Doll (Your reward for beating a Versus Mode game with
Super Sonic.)
-Stereo/Boombox (Can listen to BGM here - I think...)
Have a great time here in the Sonic Room!! It's a great alternative
to the Main Game.
15. Boards
Emerald Coast
Difficulty: 3/5
Fun Factor: 4/5
Accidents Rating: 4/5
Final Rating: 8/10
***** Overview *****
Set on the beach, Sonic and the others plan to locate the
7 Precioustones on this beach that, if not dealt with quickly,
may turn into a frozen wasteland! There's lots of other
side things to do before you save this frozen beach so you
had better get started!
***** Spaces *****
Bubble Space - Whilst underwater, land on this space to refill
your air back to 5 Turns. You must land on it and you cannot
just pass it, so remember that.
Dolphin Space - Will send you to a nearby space. Sometimes this
can be useful but it could potentially also frustrate you
by pushing you further away from the Precioustone. Use your
judgement and avoid landing on it especially when you are in
the lead.
Quest Space - On this board, you must locate a Baby Dolphin in
one of the glacial areas of the board and bring it back to the
Quest Space in 8 turns, if I'm not mistaken. Knuckles has a huge
advantage with this Quest because of his Climbing space.
***** Accidents *****
1. Ring Tide
Rarity: Very Common
Fun Factor: 5/5
Difficulty: 3/5
Secret Forcejewels: 2
Final Rating: 9/10
2. Sonic Parasol
Rarity: Common
Fun Factor: 4/5
Difficulty: 3/5
Secret Forcejewels: 2
Final Rating: 7.5/10
***** Events *****
Whale: At random intervals in the game, a Whale will appear
and destroy one of the spaces near the glacial area. The space
is after the Quest Space. That space will then be blocked off
for a couple of turns.
Flying Fish: When the final Precioustone appears, the ship over
by the glacial areas to the west of the board will leave the
board for the remainder of the game. This will block off a supposed
shortcut for anyone near it.
***** Final Accident *****
Sonic Surfing
Fun Factor: 2/5
Difficulty: 3.5/5
Final Rating: 6/10
Fire Bird
Difficulty: 4/5
Fun Factor: 3/5
Accidents Rating: 4/5
Final Rating: 7.5/10
***** Overview *****
A giant and mystical bird has been encased in a metal covering
since the Precioustones have been taken away. You must recover
all of the Precioustones to free this bird so it can fly once
again. However, do it quickly because time is precious on this board
as the wings of the metal bird will break off overtime. Watch
your step!
***** Spaces *****
Forklift Space - A forklift will appear and push you to a random
space on the board. If you're far away from the Precioustone,
I'd recommend trying to land on this space, otherwise, it can either
make or break your day so it's too unpredictable to risk.
Quest Space - On this board, the Quest objective is to fix a gas
leakage that will occur some point after a couple of Precioustones
have been collected. The gas leakage will appear on the top
left wing of the board so be sure to be ready when it appears.
***** Accidents *****
1. Rapid Climb
Rarity: Rare
Fun Factor: 3/5
Difficulty: 4.5/5
Secret Forcejewels: 2
Final Rating: 7/10
2. Sky Bridge
Rarity: Very Common
Fun Factor: 5/5
Difficulty: 4/5
Secret Forcejewels: 0
Final Rating: 9/10
***** Events *****
Explosion - As time progresses and as other Precioustones are
collected and new ones appear, wings of the metal bird will start
to explode and eventually break off. Any still on the wing during
the first explosion will lose a whopping 50 Rings! Any character
still on the wing when it breaks off will lose 20 Rings.
***** Final Accident *****
Sky Diving
Fun Factor: 4.5/5
Difficulty: 3/5
Final Rating: 8/10
Nature Zone
Difficulty: 4/5
Fun Factor: 3/5
Accidents Rating: 2/5
Final Rating: 6.5/10
***** Overview *****
This nature paradise is starting to become a desolate wasteland.
You must liberate this paradasiac garden from wilting and
wasting away before it is too late!
***** Spaces *****
Quest Space - On this board, the objective is to locate one of
the four keys hidden on a hidden space that will appear once the
Final Precioustone does. This is necessary to reaching the
Final Precioustone anyway.
Trolley Space - A trolley (with an Owl's face on the front)
will appear and take you to a random space on the board. Sometimes,
though, it can be a bit predictable so use this to your advantage.
***** Accidents *****
1. Croc-Attack
Rarity: Common
Fun Factor: 1/5
Difficulty: 5/5
Secret Forcejewels: None
Final Rating: 1/10
Strategy:
2. Ring of Fire
Rarity: Rare
Fun Factor: 4/5
Difficulty: 3/5
Secret Forcejewels: 2
Final Rating: 7.5/10
***** Events *****
Barricades - Over time, stone barricades will appear, blocking entry
to some paths and spaces. Over time, though, they will disappear, but
they can really put a dent in your plans when aiming for Precioustones.
***** Final Accident *****
Earth Quake
Fun Factor: 2/5
Difficulty: 3.5/5
Final Rating: 5.5/10
Riot Train
Difficulty: 4/5
Fun Factor: 5/5
Accidents Rating: 4/5
Final Rating: 8.5/10
***** Overview *****
This train is on a course for disaster. The train has gone out
of control and now its speed has increased dramatically, and
train carts at the back of the train are being deployed from
the train. You must recover the Precioustones to save this
chaotic train!
***** Spaces *****
Revolving Space - If you reach this space, the space will send
you either back in the direction where you came from or into
the other direction. If you land on the space, nothing will
happen.
Helicopter Space - Locate this space on the outer train carts
to be sent back to the main train - either to the front of it,
to the back of it, or anywhere in between. You can also use this
space to escape Train Carts that have been deployed from the
main train if you can't wait for it to come back on its own.
Train Blast Space - Land on this space and the steam from the
train will send you to the very forefront of the Train whereby
the Final Precioustone is accessible. From what I remember,
there is no way to get back to the main parts of the train
so if you land on this, you're pretty much stuck there so be sure
to land on this only when the Final Precioustone appears. Also,
passing it will not count. You MUST land on it because the game
does not permit you to pass it to reach the fore-front area.
16. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)
Q: Where do I find Forcejewels?
A: You can either get them from participating in Mini-Event,
Mini-Games, defeating enemies (not bosses) in battles (getting
a “Critical” will get you two), Accident Mini-Games, from
Dr. Eggman and his wheel of inventions, or, just by buying them
from the Forcejewel Shop with your rings.
Q: Are the Forcejewels expensive?
A: Each forcejewel ranges in price, depending on which shop
you buy it from, and your current position. I may add a section
for such in a later version.
Q: My Forcejewels aren’t working on my opponents. What’s going on?
A: One of two reasons. One, your opponent has used a Forcejewel
that prevents him from being affected by all Forcejewels, or, the
Forcejewel cannot be used (like the Carbuncle, since it eats away
at your Forcejewels).
*** More Questions will be added as I remember them being
asked of me or as they ARE asked of me in the future.
