------------------------------------------------------------
This FAQ is going to tell you everything about how to get
the emblems. It will explain how to get the Action
Stage/Mini Game/Chao Race emblems, and it will explain the
location of the hidden Adventure Field emblems. If you do
not wish to know this information, then stop reading now.

its number and check off the box underneath it so you know
what emblems you've already gotten. (I find it easier to go
in order in most scenarios)

3.1 - TIPS
------------------------------------------------------------

       The most basic tip to collecting all of the emblems in
Sonic Adventure is to not give up on what you try. I know
that the A emblems for Sonic's Lost World and Final Egg and
Big's Twinkle Park are difficult, but never quit. If you
stick to it, you just might get it.

       Also, never try anything that you aren't sure about
unless you have at least one more life left. I've done this
many times and have completely blown it.

------------------------------------------------------------
3.2 - WHAT DO YOU GET?
------------------------------------------------------------

       To the best of my knowledge, after collecting all 130
emblems you get absolutely nothing, (although after I got
127, I had 99 lives with each character, but that may have
been a glitch.) Watch Sega's news for updates.

------------------------------------------------------------
3.3     - COMPLETE WALKTHROUGH
------------------------------------------------------------

       Yes, here it is. My successful trip all laid out for
you. This section will give you a list of all 130 emblems
and the easiest way to get them. Note that this will not
walk you through the game, this is just the way I got my
emblems. (Total time it took me to do this, 36 hours and 17
minutes.)

*** 001 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Emerald Coast
Emblem Type: C

       This level is the very first you encounter and it is
seemingly self-explanatory, Go slow and explore the scenery,
as you are not timed but watch out for the many enemies
scattered about this tropical paradise.

*** 002 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Emerald Coast
Emblem Type: B

       The fifty rings you have to carry with you are not hard
to find (as a matter of fact there are nearly 700 rings in
the entire level) Big item boxes are scattered through out
as you may have seen earlier. This level should pose no
problems to you.

*** 003 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Emerald Coast
Emblem Type: A
Time Limit: 2:00

       A difficult level for the novice player, you may have
trouble with the 2 minute limit. Continuously hit X as you
run to pick up speed but DO NOT do that as the whale chases
you. After crossing the broken bridge and falling down into
the hole beyond the lighthouse, you should run into a
checkpoint. Now, run along the wall to your left near the
top, and you should go straight through a hole in the wall.
After going around the loop and being shot across the water,
hit the dash panels to run up the steep slope. Stop at the
top of the bridge. Rotate the camera to your right. You
should see the bottom of the slide beyond a great deal of
water. Jump off the bridge with a homing attack and you
should land right near the slide. Instead of running up the
slide, go around it and hit the spring. Then hit the other
springs and run your way to the end.

*** 004 ***

Character: SONIC
Location: Station Square Train Station

       An easy adventure field emblem. Run up the train
station's stairs. But stop near the top. A brown board juts
out of the wall, jump on that board and carefully run around
it until you are above the train station's door. Just pick
up the emblem.

*** 005 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Windy Valley
Emblem Type: C

       The invisible paths intimidate many players who decide
to find another way. Sorry, but there is no other way. Just
push up on the analog stick until you have reached the end
of the path. The tornado is pretty easy and so is the
walkway in the sky.

*** 006 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Windy Valley
Emblem Type: B

       Having less than 50 rings near the end is really just a
matter of luck. The random rings box located right next to
the end can be generous or unforgiving. Unless you are posed
with this predicament, this level is a breeze. (No pun
intended)

*** 007 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Windy Valley
Emblem Type: A
Time Limit: 3:00

       To me this level is the easiest of Sonic's A emblems.
This level should be no problem for any Sonic player. Your
only hold-up may be if you have difficulty in the tornado.
If you do, a little bit of practice will help.

*** 008 ***

Character: SONIC
Location: Station Square Burger Shop

       Before dropping into the sewer like the Hintorb tells
you to, run into the Burger shop and grab that emblem.

NOTE: Now would be a good time to get the Light Speed shoes.
See section (4.1) for details.

NOTE: Now would be a good time to get the Crystal Ring. See
section (4.1) for details.

*** 009 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Casinopolis
Emblem Type: C

       While playing pinball, score less than 100 rings to
fall into the sewer. This sewer has lots of rings. Deposit
400 rings into the vault to be able to climb up and then
grab the Emerald.

*** 010 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Casinopolis
Emblem Type: B

       Duh. Can I make this any simpler. OK. Get the 400 rings
and then play pinball again. This time get MORE than 100
rings. When you lose you'll end up right in front of the
vault. Don't deposit these rings though. Just destroy the
capsule.

*** 011 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Casinopolis
Emblem Type: A
Time Limit: 5:00

       This is one of those levels where everybody has there
own strategy, here's mine. I get into a pinball game and
lose quickly. Then I run through the sewer as quick as I
can, but I pick up as many rings as I can along the way.
Then I repeat. Follow this time chart.

End first pinball game by: 00:45.00
Get out of sewer by: 02:00.00
Deposit rings by: 02:15.00
Start second pinball game by: 02:30.00
End second pinball game by: 03:15.00
Get out of sewer by: 04:30.00
Deposit rings by: 04:50.00
Destroy capsule by: 05:00.00

(If you get 400 rings in your first run down the sewer, skip
the second pinball game. DUH!)

*** 012 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: IceCap
Emblem Type: C

       This level is just like any of the others and because
it is for the C emblem, just explore. It's pretty difficult
to get lost in the Icecap level, as if you fall you land
near the beginning. The snowboarding is fun. (You can also
change the color of the snowboard by pressing B or X before
the avalanche cut-scene starts) The emerald is located at
the bottom of the snowboarding hill.

*** 013 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: IceCap
Emblem Type: B

       You could pick up all 50 rings in the snowboarding
section of the level, but it is difficult for me to do that.
Memorize where the rings are on the hill as best you can and
you should have no problems with the 50 rings.

*** 014 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: IceCap
Emblem Type: A
Time Limit: 4:00

       Icecap is another one of those simple levels when it
comes to getting the A emblem. Follow this next simple chart
to help you.

Hit 1st Checkpoint before: 00:30.00
Hit 2nd Checkpoint before: 02:00.00
Begin snowboard scene by:        02:25.00
End level before:                04:00.00

       And unless you are a very fast person, you should have
approximately 30 seconds left before the clock would expire.

*** 015 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Sky Chase Act 1

       Completing this level should be no problem even for the
novice Sonic player. All you have to do is make a run
through the level. Your only enemies are bomber planes and
spike bombs (very painful).

NOTE: THERE ARE 2 EMBLEMS FOR COMPLETING SKY CHASE ACT 1,
THE OTHER EMBLEM IS LISTED AS #122

*** 016 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Twinkle Park
Emblem Type: C

       This is my favorite level (except when it comes to that
dang A emblem). It is beautifully drawn and it is very fast-
paced. Go slow and enjoy it. (Is there a trend here with me
continuously saying that...) This is one level that will be
played over and over again just for enjoyment.

*** 017 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Twinkle Park
Emblem Type: B

       Over 300 rings stand in this level, although they are
very widely spread over the vast field. As long as you do
fine on the opening racecourse and beware of the enemies
(mainly Kiki and Buyoon), you should have to deal with any
serious consequences (ie. Going through that torture of a
level...again!)

*** 018 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Twinkle Park
Emblem Type: A
Time Limit: 3:00

       No doubt a mad dash at that, this level is the 4th
hardest to get of Sonic's A emblems. The biggest shortcuts
are (1) right after the roller coaster ride pulls into the
station, push right on the analog stick to avoid the hole,
then walk back along the track until you fall down onto a
platform. Make a long jump and continue to the triple spring
next to the Kiki (across the pool). The other shortcut (2)
is after hitting the spring running on the roof past the
monkeys and explosive barrels, you land in a shallow wading
pool. From here you can (a) Drop down and run or (b) stay
airborne. Both ways take you to the same place, but I feel
that option B is the better of the two choices. Keep your
eye on the time and on where you are going and with some
practice, you should just squeeze your time in there.

*** 019 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Twinkle Circuit

       After being shuffled out of Twinkle Park, re-enter, and
go into the door on the left labeled Twinkle Circuit. This
is a racetrack course in which you must successfully make
three laps around a track, all the while trying to beat your
best time. The automatic starting time to beat is 10:00.00.
Beating that successfully gives you your emblem.

*** 020 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Twinkle Circuit

       Try Twinkle Circuit again to beat the time you just
did. If you do that, you will get another emblem.

NOTE: ONLY 2 EMBLEMS ARE POSSIBLE WITH THIS AND ALL OTHER
MINI-GAMES.

*** 021 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Speed Highway
Emblem Type: C

       This level is a blast to race through and would make a
great track for a racecourse. Blast through it as quickly as
you can, look for shortcuts to use later on when you try for
your A emblem. Most of them are small, but there is one
giant one that is so obvious if you pay attention. When you
go into the city, just look for the fountain, jump inside
and land in the belfry to destroy the capsule.

*** 022 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Speed Highway
Emblem Type: B

       Another no-brainer. Although I'll say there aren't many
rings in the end if you are hit by an enemy, all you have to
do is run to find them. It may throw off your time, but we
aren't playing for time...now are we!

*** 023 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Speed Highway
Emblem Type: A
Time Limit: 2:30

       The 2nd hardest of Sonic's A emblems, you can cut
seconds off your time if you find the giant shortcut. HINT:
There's a place after the first checkpoint marker where you
can run on the side of a wall, look around on that wall,
high and low. Finding that shortcut greatly improves your
Speed Highway time. There are also ways to cut corners that
you should pay attention to.

NOTE: After taking the train to the Ruins, and travelling
near the entrance to RED MOUNTAIN, now would be a good time
to get the Ancient Lights. See section (4.l) for details.

*** 024 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Red Mountain
Emblem Type: C

       This is another one of those levels where you'll just
say wow at the amazing detail. The cut-scenes of you on the
zip lines are cool and also necessary. After dropping into
the mountain watch out for the rising lava tide. The final
hallway can really be a killer.

*** 025 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Red Mountain
Emblem Type: B

       As I mentioned above, the final hallway can really be a
killer if you are trying for this emblem. The fifty rings
are a much simpler task in this level then in some, but it
is managing those rings once you have them that matters.
Especially be careful when using enemies as stepping stones.

*** 026 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Red Mountain
Emblem Type: A
Time Limit : 3:00

       Since I really can't describe it in words, I'll give
you another table to follow to help best judge your way
through Red Mountain. (P.S. If you are over FIVE seconds on
any of the checkpoint, restart the level. My top four best
times are 2:56.14, 2:56.77, 2:58.72, and 2:59.46, I've tried
going on but I was always over the limit.)

1st Checkpoint hit by: 0:10.00
Cross monkey bars by: 0:55.00
Drop into volcano by: 1:35.00
Pass jail cells by  : 2:20.00
Last checkpoint by  : 2:42.00 (I know...weird time)

       You should nail that level with about 5 or 6 seconds
left.

*** 027 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Sky Chase Act 2

       This level is very similar to Act 1 except for 2
things. (1) It takes place at night and (2) You have to blow
up the laser in front of the Egg Carrier.

NOTE: THERE ARE 2 EMBLEMS FOR COMPLETING SKY CHASE ACT 2,
THE OTHER ONE IS LISTED AS #123

*** 028 ***

Character: SONIC
Location: Egg Carrier Cannon Platform

       Before entering the Sky Deck area, turn around and hit
the spring, you should land on a green platform. Now, jump
in all of the cannons. After jumping into a special one, you
will land on something and reveal an emblem.

*** 029 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Sky Deck
Emblem: C

       If you are one of those people who couldn't control an
airborne character if your life depended on it (ie. Me) then
Sky Deck is not your level. Nearly half of the level is mid-
air trajectories and the other half is jumping into the air.
I wouldn't expect a beginning player to nail all the parts
of Sky Deck without dying at least once, but then
again...not many can. This is your best chance to practice
for the B emblem.

*** 030 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Sky Deck
Emblem: B

       I repeat:       If you are one of those people who couldn't
control an airborne character if your life depended on it,
then Sky Deck is not your level. 50 rings aren't that hard
to find aboard the Sky Deck, but holding onto them is. I'll
admit, took me about 3 tries before finally nailing this
level.

*** 031 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Sky Deck
Emblem: A
Time Limit: 5:00

       One of the easier A emblems, Sky Deck's can pose
threats. Having to time your trajectories is a pain anyway,
let alone on a time limit. The biggest time saver is when
the ship tilts (ladder area) jump out as far as you can and
you should reach a platform with a sideways point marker on
it. Hit the diagonal platforms with 04:30.00 left or you're
pretty much a goner.

*** 032 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Lost World
Emblem: C

       By hitting the Lost World, you have reached the most
creative, puzzling, and beautiful levels in the entire game.
However, beauty pays it's price. The level is in ruins and
most areas are dangerous (ie. Winding path on outside/mirror
room/water puzzle). You better practice, the A emblem WILL
NOT be this easy!

*** 033 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Lost World
Emblem: B

       There are over 400 rings located in this level alone,
and all of them are pretty easy to find. Steal 50, and then
run (or water slide, or walk, or bounce...) your way to the
finish, which now is a capsule.

*** 034 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Lost World
Emblem: A
Time Limit: 4:30

       Congrats to you...you have reached the #1 most
difficult A emblem in the game. This time chart may assist
you in some way, but this level really depends on your sharp
eyes and finger dexterity.

Hit 1st checkpoint by 00:33.00
Complete Water Room by 02:10.00
Hit 2nd Checkpoint by 02:18.00
Complete Mirror Room by 02:55.00
Begin water slide by 03:00.00
End the rock chase by 03:27.00
Hit final checkpoint (near Gora) by 04:00.00
Hit ring trail switch by 04:20.00
End by 04:30.00

       You should start the winding paths by 00:05.00.
Continue to hit X while running in most places but the
places in which you hit them on the rock slide count most.
Hit it about halfway until the dropoff, and then all the way
down the 2nd section. The puzzle room is no room for
mistakes. Near the end of the large puzzle, there is a place
where you can drop down into the room with the ring trail
switch to save about 5 seconds. Get out of there as quick as
you can now.

*** 035 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Final Egg
Emblem: C

       Well, here it is. This level is difficult for the
beginning player, but you should later have no problems. You
won't find many shortcuts here, and really going quickly
through everything is what you must do, so practice here for
your B emblem, go slow, because after the 2nd Beat room,
your path might split.

*** 036 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Final Egg
Emblem: B

       There are approximately 20 rings in the final dash,
have about 35 rings near the end, and you should still have
a shot. Check everything out here too, this next emblem
shouldn't be a piece of cake like this one is.

*** 037 ***

Character: SONIC
Level: Final Egg
Emblem: A
Time Limit: 4:30

       The 3rd hardest of Sonic's A emblems. Final Egg is the
10th and final action stage you will need to play as Sonic.
This level is all about showing your mastery of the
controls. The ladder in the middle of the first Beat room
should be climbed with 2:35.00 or less on the clock. The
final checkpoint (near Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles dolls
should be hit with 4:05.00 or less on the clock. Bust the
two two-part machines or your light-speed dash may be
ruined. Quickly charge your light speed dash and cross there
and break the capsule.

*** 038 ***

Character: SONIC
Reason: Game Complete

       After you beat the Egg Viper, you should get your
emblem for beating the game as Sonic. Good job. Next we
tackle Tails.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*** 039 ***
Character: TAILS
Location: Behind Tails Workshop on Cliff
       After beating the Egg Hornet go up to Tails' workshop,
on a cliff behind it, there is an emblem.
*** 040 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Windy Valley
Emblem: C
       Tails' objective is the same, but it is reached
differently. You must race him against Sonic to the end.
Dash rings help you speed ahead but don't dawdle. Time is
easily wasted trying to show off.
*** 041 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Windy Valley
Emblem: B
       As you would probably guess, Tails B emblems are no
different than Sonic's. Collecting 50 rings should be a
hassle to you. Getting a magnet shield however will allow
you to go quickly and without stopping pick up rings as you
go. No problems here, either.
*** 042 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Windy Valley
Emblem: A
       Tails' A emblems are a little bit different. You must
only beat a now faster Sonic. The dash rings become a bit
more important here, but you should still have no problems.
This A emblem is the easiest to get, but they seem to get
more difficult as you go on.
NOTE: Now would be a good time to get the Jet Anklet. See
section (4.2) for details
*** 043 ***
Character: TAILS
Location: Casinopolis Alley
       Before heading into Casinopolis, go to the alley where
the Ice Stone fell for Sonic. Fly straight up, and there
will be an emblem there.
*** 044 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Casinopolis
Emblem Type: C
       This level is really fun, because it takes place in the
Casinopolis dump. If you lost in pinball with Sonic, you
should know your way around here by now. Successfully beat
this easy course for your C emblem.
*** 045 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Casinopolis
Emblem: B
       Knowing your way down here, rings are easy to come by.
Collect them, but watch out for the spike balls at the end
of all of the hallways. Fly high all the way to the capsule
to avoid enemies down below.
*** 046 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Casinopolis
Emblem: A
       Sonic is no problem here either. He doesn't stop and
wait for you and you must use your tail to your advantage.
Good luck, you just might need it.
*** 047 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: IceCap
Emblem: C
       This whole level is the 3rd part of the Sonic IceCap.
It is a snowboard party. You can't fly in this level, and
there are no dash rings. Use your speed and knowledge of the
course to your advantage.
*** 048 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: IceCap
Emblem: B
       You really have to keep control in this one to get the
fifty rings, Sonic shouldn't swipe too many of them and that
makes it easy for you to take them all for yourself. Watch
out for the bomber planes near the entrance to the second
cave though, if you hit one of the bombs, you will probably
lose your rings.
*** 049 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: IceCap
Emblem: A
       Again, use your skill and knowledge to mess up Sonic.
The biggest shortcut comes after the second cave, you have
to hit the ramp, cross the bridge, and then make an attempt
to hit the dash panels. Missing the dash panels shouldn't
actually be that big of a deal. Missing the entire shortcut
may be.
NOTE: You will now fight Knuckles, Chaos 4, and then play
Sky Chase Act 1 again. If you beat 8000 points (or the best
score) you will get another emblem. If this happens, check
off #122 on the checklist.
*** 050 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Sand Hill
       This level is sand-boarding. Get to the end of the
course to get the emblem. Your only enemy is time. You have
3 seconds to hit a gate after passing through one. Your
score accumulates with each gate you hit. Try not to get a
super-high score, as you will have to beat it again later.
NOTE: THERE ARE 2 EMBLEMS FOR COMPLETING SAND HILL, THE
OTHER ONE IS LISTED AS #124
NOTE: Now would be a good time to get the Rhythm Badge. See
section (4.2) for details.
NOTE: You will now play Sky Chase Act 2 again. If you beat
20000 points (or the best score) you will get another
emblem. If this happens, check off #123 on the checklist.
*** 051 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Sky Deck
Emblem: C
       This rendition of Sky Deck ends at the 4 corner towers
area. Remember, dash rings are your friends. They also lead
to rings for your B emblem. The capsule is located right
after the 4th corner tower.
*** 052 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Sky Deck
Emblem: B
       You know the drill by now, 50 rings are a breeze in
this level. If you're low near the end hit the dash rings on
all 3 floors of bridges in the 4 towers. Those dash rings
should supply you with enough to successfully complete the
level with a B emblem.
*** 053 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Sky Deck
Emblem: A
       Sky Deck's A is so easy. Use dash rings and rockets
that are located in places that Sonic usually can't reach.
You'll do fine here as long as you don't screw it up near
the end. Remember, don't try anything you're not sure of
unless you have at least one life left.
*** 054 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Speed Highway
Emblem: C
       After watching the video scene with you rescuing Amy
and landing in Station Square and seeing Robotnik detonate
the missile. Learning it was a dud, he goes to detonate it.
You must race Robotnik to the missile and get there before
he does. Many air-borne shortcut are here, find them and
this level is easy.
*** 055 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Speed Highway
Emblem: B
       You have to go a little bit slower in this level than
usual because going too fast might cause you to miss a lot
of the rings that are located on the ground. Play it safe by
staying ahead and then picking up the rings, then zoom ahead
if you feel he is getting closer, you may have to restart
the level.
*** 056 ***
Character: TAILS
Level: Speed Highway
Emblem: A
       The #2 most difficult of Tails' A emblems, if you have
a Jet Anklet, you will easily zoom ahead of Robotnik.
Finding the mid-air dash rings will help you and if you can
hit the first checkpoint before 00:30.00, the level is
probably yours. Don't die though, Robotnik will restart in
the same place you did if you do.
*** 057 ***
Character: TAILS
Reason: Game Complete
       After you defeat the Egg Walker, you will get an emblem
for beating Tails' section of Sonic Adventure. Knuckles is
the next character we will focus on.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

*** 058 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Speed Highway
Emblem: C

       Knuckles' objective is to find the three emerald
shards. They are always located in various places, so I
can't exactly tell you where they are. Use your radar. This
code will tell you how close you are:

BLUE: Distant : This will be the first thing you see
(usually) on your radar.

GREEN: Near   : This is the most common reading on the
radar.

YELLOW: Close : This is the most uncommon, it usually
changes back to green or to pink.

PINK: Very Close: This means you are close. Not close enough
to get the shard, but close.

RED: Shard Zone: The emerald is within your reach now.

*** 059 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Speed Highway
Emblem: B

       The object here is not to collect 50 rings, but to not
use any hintorbs. (You can use hintorbs, but you must
restart right after). The objective here is the same as with
any B emblem.

*** 060 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Speed Highway
Emblem: A
Time Limit: 1:00

       There is a trick to getting the emeralds in under one
minute, and it goes like this...

       <<Locate an emerald shard, but DON'T touch it. Now
restart the level. Run to that emerald shard as quickly as
you can and grab it. Repeat the process until you have all
of the emerald shards. >>

*** 061 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Casinopolis
Emblem: C

       At least one of the emerald shards is located on the
second floor, which is only accessible via a spring. Usually
one of the shards would also be located in the center of the
casino as part of a Knuckles statue. Punch the statue in the
red section of its foot to shatter it. Emerald shards are
also usually found in the fountain on the first floor or the
vault.

*** 062 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Casinopolis
Emblem: B

       The same rule applies here as it did earlier. Don't use
hintorbs unless you restart right after you see where they
go. You shouldn't have trouble here either, just remember
the main locations of the emerald shards.

*** 063 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Casinopolis
Emblem: A
Time Limit: 1:00

       Just remember the find-restart-grab rule and you should
have no problem here. Take about 20 seconds to grab each
one.

NOTE: Now would be a good time to grab the Shovel Claw. See
section (4.3) for details.

*** 064 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Location: Near Master Emerald Altar

       After you arrive at Red Mountain, don't enter. Instead,
walk along the bridge leading to the Master Emerald about
halfway. Now jump off to the left. You should see an emblem
in mid-air. Grab it. Then go to Red Mountain.

*** 065 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Red Mountain
Emblem: C

       Red Mountain's emerald shards are difficult to locate
as the area in which to find them is such a large area. Fly
around and watch your radar as you comb the area. Remember
to use your shovel claw [(A+X) or (A+B)] to dig for the
shards.

*** 066 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Red Mountain
Emblem: B

       Using a hintorb is almost necessary in this section, so
use them. (Remember to RESTART) Once you learn the main
locations of the shards, the A emblem should be a breeze.

*** 067 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Red Mountain
Emblem: A
Time Limit: 1:00

       Not exactly a simple A emblem, this should be the most
difficult for you. You'll probably blow a few lives on this
level, so make sure you have about 10 handy. Remember the
trick, and go 20 seconds each.

NOTE: Now would be a good time to get the Fighting Gloves.
See section (4.3) for details.

*** 068 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Lost World
Emblem: C

       Geez. Trying to figure out how to get into Lost World
should get you an emblem anyway. Most of the shards are
located in the puzzle room, but some of them are outside.
Check out the areas first.

*** 069 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Lost World
Emblem: B

       Hintorbs really aren't necessary in this level anyway,
because it is such a small area. You'll do fine without
them.

*** 070 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Lost World
Emblem: A
Time Limit: 1:00

       One minute may almost be too much for this level
(seeing as how I beat it in 24 seconds). I mean it appears
that in this level only the shards are almost never located
in the same place. Watch out for some new locations in this
level, and also some strange ones.

*** 071 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Location: Egg Carrier Pool

       Climb up the wall to the diving boards. On one of the
diving boards is the emblem.

*** 072 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Sky Deck
Emblem: C

       This level is a little bit more complex. You have to
tilt the ship certain ways to reveal certain emerald shards.
Although it may seem that you will have trouble here, you'll
get the hang of the opposite directions and strange
maneuvers.

*** 073 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Sky Deck
Emblem: B

       There's only 2 hintorbs in the whole level, but be
careful not to hit the one in front of you once you start.
You probably won't need the hintorbs anyway.

*** 074 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Level: Sky Deck
Emblem: A
Time Limit: 2:00

       This is the only level with a 2-minute limit. The
reason for the extra minute is the continuous motion of
having to change the tilt of the ship. Take about 40 seconds
per shard.

*** 075 ***

Character: KNUCKLES
Reason: Game Complete

       For beating all 5 levels, you earn an emblem.
Congratulations on beating Knuckles' adventure.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*** 076 ***
Character: AMY
Level: Twinkle Park
Emblem: C
       You should have a lot of fun playing as Amy. Avoid the
indestructible robot Zero by running away from him and
bopping him with your hammer. Be careful in the mirror room.
The reflections show you what will happen.
*** 077 ***
Character: AMY
Level: Twinkle Park
Emblem: B
       The 50 rings may pose a problem if you don't have many
rings as you near the end of the level. The rings there are
sparse, and you are lucky if the random ring box works on
your side (which it usually doesn't). Pick them up early to
avoid problems later.
*** 078 ***
Character: AMY
Level: Twinkle Park
Emblem: A
Time Limit: 2:00
       You should probably be in the pleasure castle with the
timer around 00:35.00. Be outside at 1:35.00 and run up the
incline to get to the top. Don't bother with any of the
robots, just get up there as quickly as you can, this is the
2nd hardest of Amy's A emblems.
*** 079 ***
Character: AMY
Level: Hedgehog Hammer
       After E-102 sets you free, you must beat Hedgehog
Hammer to escape from the second room. First you must beat a
score of 2000 points. The scoring goes like this.
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG DOLL = +200 points
SUPER SONIC DOLL        = +500 points
DR. EGGMAN DOLL         = -200 points
       By the way, it is impossible to go negative.
NOTE: YOU NOW GET THE WARRIOR FEATHER. SEE SECTION (4.4) FOR
DETAILS.
*** 080 ***
Character: AMY
Level: Hedgehog Hammer
       Play Hedgehog Hammer again and beat the score you just
got to get another emblem.
NOTE: YOU NOW GET THE LONG HAMMER. SEE SECTION (4.4) FOR
DETAILS.
*** 081 ***
Character: AMY
Level: Hot Shelter
Emblem: C
       This level has the best music in the game, and it also
gives you the greatest challenge. This level is one of the
longest, most annoying levels, but you'll get the hang of
it. The A emblem isn't that hard for this level, but still,
you should look for shortcuts as you go for your C emblem.
*** 082 ***
Character: AMY
Level: Hot Shelter
Emblem: B
       About 150 rings are accessible in this level, so 50
rings should not be a challenge. Just follow your way
through again, and this one's a piece of cake.
*** 083 ***
Character: AMY
Level: Hot Shelter
Emblem: A
Time Limit: 6:30
       This level is a big laugh. Come on 6 and a half
minutes. Actually, it takes me about 6 to get through it so
don't get too cocky. It is the easiest of her A emblems, so
you can go a little slower. Hit the checkpoints though. If
Amy is hit at the wrong time, it could really mess you up.
*** 084 ***
Character: AMY
Level: Final Egg
Emblem: C
       A fun level at that, Final Egg is different than what
Sonic is used to. This level is a quick, run-
through/elevator/guessing-game level and it is important
that you make all of the right decisions off the top of your
head. Good luck on this one. You might need it.
*** 085 ***
Character: AMY
Level: Final Egg
Emblem: B
       50 rings aren't actually that easy to grab in this one.
There really isn't that many unless you want to waste your
time picking them up with Zero right up your butt! No,
actually this is an easy one, I bet any kid over the age of
3 could figure this out.
*** 086 ***
Character: AMY
Level: Final Egg
Emblem: A
Time Limit: 2:30
       This can sometimes be Amy's #1 most difficult emblem,
if you really blow it at the doors. Just follow through and
you'll probably be able to figure it out. (I don't know if
the right door has something to do with the number of lights
above the door, but if you know something, e-mail me...e-
mail address at end of document.
*** 087 ***
Character: AMY
Reason: Game Complete
       After beating Zero in the electric area, you will gain
an emblem for beating the game as Amy Rose.
up #1. See section (4.5) for details.
must catch the fish, before you catch the frog.
*** 090 ***
Character: BIG
Level: Twinkle Park
NOTE: This level is impossible unless you have all 4 lure
power up-s and the power rod.
       Only robot fish are over 2000 grams. Fish for them, and
hook 'em. It might take a few tries before you get it.
NOTE: Now would be a good time to get the Power Rod. See
section (4.5) for details.
NOTE: Now would be a good time to get Lure Power-up #4. See
section (4.5) for details.
*** 097 ***
Character: BIG
Level: Hot Shelter
Emblem: C
You'll need practice indefinitely, but everything takes
practice.
(NOTE: DIRECTIONS TO THIRD CAVE HAVE BEEN PROVIDED BY Chris
Kohler ([email protected]) THANX TO HIM.
       This taken from Section 9.5 of his FAQ: Chris writes...
<<One of Big's fishing lure power-ups that allow him to
catch bigger fish in order to get his emblems is located in
the third cave in the MR rain forest. I've had many people
write me wanting to know where this cave was. Here is the
best way to find the third cave quickly. Playing Big, goto
his treehouse and stand inside. Then walk down the small
wooden bridge and you will be faceing two paths. Take the
path on the right. You'll know if you chose the right path
because there will be two trees that almost cross like an
"X" a few feet inside. Follow this path until you get to a
stream. Stop here and look across the stream and you should
