01.)                    INTRODUCTION                                 G0100
===============================================================================

Welcome to 'Remote Control' for the NES, released by Hi-Tech in 1990.

The game's box states there are "hundreds of questions" available. Therefore it
is unclear how many there really are, but I believe this is close to 95% of all
the questions the game has to offer. If you do come across one that is not in
the list, then you know what to do... ;)

Suggestions, comments or errors - tell me about it. Enjoy!

===============================================================================
02.)                    BASICS                                       G0200
===============================================================================

Controls:
`````````
Use START to get the gaming going.
A        Buzzer, Choose Category, Answer in Lightning Round
B        Answer in Rounds
START    Pause the game, Resume
Gameplay:
`````````
You start off by selecting a category. Each one has three questions, worth 5,
10 and 15 with each one. In round 2 all the points are doubled. When no more
questions are available for that category, it is grayed out. Red simply means
this category was started. If you know the answer, sound the buzzer before time
is up. Every player has the chance to buzz in. Once you are ready to answer the
question, you have another five seconds to do so. After that it is time to
select another category. If you get the question wrong, only the other
contestants have the chance to answer correctly.

After a certain amount of questions are complete, the game will go on to the
lightning round. In that round you get 10 points for each correct answer. You
can guess as much as you want, only the correct answer will continue to the
next question. When the time runs out the game comes to an end.

SPECIAL ROUNDS:
There are numerous channels that simply tell you silly facts. Some of the
channels, however, do have a certain degree of interactivity:

Beat the Bishop>
The bishop will give you a random math problem. Solve it before he makes it to
the other side of the screen.

Home Shopping Zone, Ranger Bob>
You lose 10 points when selecting this channel. Funny - not.

===============================================================================
03.)                    QUESTIONS                                    G0300
===============================================================================

All the questions are (supposed to be) exactly as they are represented in the
game itself, including spelling mistakes, typos and grammar errors. Once in a
while I may have done a bad job copying and I did not run a spell check through
this section as it would have taken a huge effort to ignore all those names
and titles it would stop for to ask.

GameFAQs for hosting this file.

Hi-Tech for the game.

twitchyx for a not-very-complete FAQ that kind of started me on writing this.
If you are thinking "hey some parts look exactly like his guide" then I have to
tell you I initially tried to e-mail him with additional Q&As using his layout.
When I never got a reply I decided to simply do the entire thing by myself but
was already sticking to the same style.

Everyone else involved trying to get the script dumped for this game, which did
not end up working out for one reason or another. I'm guessing it would not
have helped as much as I hoped for anyway, being a mess to sort out.
