If you ever played Red Dead Redemption 2, you probably may heard this
line of Arthur Morgan directed to Sadie Adler. You also know a context
of this statement. Even it was articulated in non-existing world by
non-existing person, it still true, right here and right now. With those
words it is easier to go through this world - in some twisted way.
For people who does not adhere to current standards: social media and
communication platforms offered by corpos, movies, music and other means
hosted/produced by corpos and so on, being someone who spit on them is
like being a ghost, like a non-existent person. You may have a friend in
"real life" or non-centralized platform, you may have none, but still
you are out. You probably just cut out this shit from your life. You
start feeling like a ancient recluse or medieval monk. Your life is
moving toward the void. Somewhere inbetween you feel that you do not fit
to this puzzle. You snoop here and there to see what you are missing. If
you are strong enough, you will not return there becoming a living
ghost.
Current times are different than in the past. Let's move two centuries
ago - most of people were shitkickers or grunts whose live was only
work. The best available entertainment was the sauce or talking with
neighbour. They had little or no access to "higher" art or
entertainment. They even could not read, so gov scumbag could not cram
their propaganda. Look at similiar people living right now - they have
small propaganda boxes with touchscreen or bigger beaconing propaganda
boxes with many buttons showing a picture in 1080p or even 8K. It is so
easy to pump propaganda right now, a propaganda which is sneaky as hell.
Now, one can play games, listen podcasts, watch movies or series, read
articles with effort going to almost zero. The point is that if you
drown in mire, you do not see anything else than mud.
We forget that tools are for us, not vice versa. And we allowed tools to
possess us. It is hard to reject those propaganda tubes and start being
a real free human. It does not mean that a way to be free is not for
everyone, not everyone wants to make a first step on that way. You will
feel void at its best, you will struggle that you cannot do something
what is needed, you will get angry that something does not work or you
do not understand it. But being ghost is better than drowning in swamp.
There will be no reward, but it is worth more than anything else - to be
more ghost than person.
