- 255 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp granulated sugar
- 141 g cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
- 0.75 cups whole milk, plus 1 to 2 tablespoons if needed
Method
1. Preheat oven to 200C
2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt and sugar
3. Cut the butter into the flour until it is a coarse meal with some
small pea-size pieces
4. Using a fork, stir in the milk until evenly moistened
5. Scoop the dough into 8-10 rough mounds and place on a greased
baking sheet
6. Bake the biscuits until just golden brown, about 15-20 minutes
7. Serve warm or cooled
