JANUARY 2025 / / /
SHORT BURSTS of activity can accomplish a lot.
I still have to do the fence and before painting it
I have to clear the green algae off. And so I seemed to
be falling behind but in a burst of activity I prepped
a few panels.

Had been IN TOWN round mid day.   I heard someone saying
they do savage pizza in BAMBINO. It's not a sit-down place
just grab a slice I guess  but I always want to try it
but I went for a quiet beer on my own,  then cycled home
with my few  provisions but some day I hope I will try this
fabled Bambino pizza. I don't take anything for granted,
hope I don't, even arriving home is a bonus, having a home,
having food, health, cash, dogs, a gopher.
And a much needed battery had arrived for my phone.
I installed it, some of those screws were very small,
and started to get decent battery life, a new lease of it..
So how did the battery get wrecked? Well
the passage of time and me using Safari browser so much
maybe bluetooth eats the battery too although I usually
keep that turned off..
It had turned cold last week
but we didn't get sneachta in my town.
We dodged a bullet there.
But it was good to have heating and a bit of insulation.
Some of the pipes run beside a door
frame and when they heat  it becomes
hard to open the door due to expansion.
The good thing about this time of year is there isn't
really a 'current thing' - no hallowe'en coming up
no yuletide for a while, a relief from the cringe.
The regime brought in
a new public holiday in February, St Brigid's day
which will be the first Monday.
