Day 7

I don't have much time today, but I thought I'd boot up the
computer to check my emails (about 10 minutes ago) and they're
still loading in! I'm not sure why the network connection is so
slow today, but I'm getting very few kbps out of the 11Mbps card!

I will need to extend my Mastodon scripts if I was to continue this
challenge further as I haven't spent as much time on the Fediverse
this week as normal, just because it's difficult to do so. I feel
that I'm not keeping up with things though.

I'll post this short entry now and maybe update it later...


## Update (written on the 18th)

So I cheated later on day 7. I met up with a friend who wanted to
play a co-op computer game too new to run on my old computer (plus,
it would have needed Windows), so I had to use a new computer for
that. I have continued to use the old computer a bit though these
past 2 days since, which might make up for that? I should do a
proper post-mortem on the challenge too at some point.

## Second update

Seems the SmolPub access tokens run out after about a week, so I
kept getting 403 errors just now. Good job the challenge isn't 2
weeks so I could download a new key!
