Fire guard |

Today I learnt that there is a difference between fire screens and |
|
fire guards. Fire guards are supposed to be screw fitted to the floor |
|
whereas screens can be freely moved around the room. |
|
|
|
I got a new fire screen this week to prevent logs from rolling out of |
|
the fireplace and fill the room with smoke and I screw fitted it to |
|
the hearth to make it safer, so I guess I have a fire guard now |
|
instead. |
