Automatically update git repo after pharc

Happy new year! | |
This is my first post of the year. I usually post my impressions
after cron runs pharc which is scheduled on December 31st at 23 hours
55 minutes (a few minutes before midnight).
pharc did a great job archiving my phlog posts of the year and editing
the gophermaps accordingly. This is usually the case. This year,
however, I introduced a new thing that gave me some new ideas: I
started tracking my gopherhole in a git directory.
This is great but I will have to keep this into consideration because
when I checked pharc's results this morning, I had to do some extra
manual work, which is pushing the changes to the git server
(gitorious) and then clone into my local backup repository (dropbox).
So I have added one more task to my todo for 2015: Run an extra job
to update the git repo automatically.
So far this is just an idea, but I guess I'll end up implementing it
sooner or later. | |
Have a nice year! | |
