# Numb

And another weekend is over. Saturday was okayish, but today my brain
just felt completely numb. I tried to learn some Czech again, but I
failed to translate pretty easy sentences.

In the afternoon we both had a headache, so after lunch we just
watched two episodes of ER and I even dozed off for a bit.

Last week I got all my projects assigned at work and tried to
calculate how much time I have for each of them in a week. To my
surprise the numbers showed that I have 25% "free" time, not assigned
to projects. So I had to call my boss and we quickly figured out that
one of the project managers allocated only about two thirds of the
available hours.

I deeply and passionately hate this project hour system.

As I was fed up with work last week I updated the dependencies of my
VSCode extension - which I use for making work comfortable, so it´s
also work, but using TypeScript is more fun. Of course there were some
breaking changes in the node modules, but nothing serious.

At home I upgraded to OpenBSD 7.2, which was easy as always. Although
pkg_add -u somehow could not update samba. I'll look into that next
time.

The release contains Rust 1.63.0, which is pretty recent, dating back
to August. And I finally figured out how Rust's for loop and into_iter
work. At least I hope so.

Today we baked that delicious low-carb cheesecake again.
