# Updates

I do not really have a vintage computer to take part in NoViCoGE[1],
but I am currently writing this again on the Aspire 3690 while the
MacBook updates to Monterey.

Yeah, updates. Seems like there is no update for Firefox on i386 under
OpenBSD 7.0, which the 3690 is currently running. The Firefox version
that is still installed segfaults right after start. OK google, I
installed chromium. Of course it is sluggish, but still usable.

Today marks the first day of my vacation. I took next week off. Monday
is All Saints' Day which is a holiday in Bavaria.

This morning we washed the car as it needs its annual inspection which
is due on Tuesday. I don't like to take it to the repair shop with a
few layers of dirt on it.

So I can just remove the MacOS update from my todo list as it has
finished and seems to work. Now an Xcode update is running.

Next week I want to finally install the SSD drive in my destop PC and
reinstall Windows on it, play the last level of Luigi's Mansion 3 and
continue learning Latin.
