# Hover

Today we took another route for our stroll. At the end of our street
there are large cultivated fields. This far we've never been at the
other end of them. We've found five horses there in three small
paddocks. Coming from the paved road it seemed as if the paddocks are
only enclosed with a crime-scene-do-not-cross-like tape, but as we got
closer we saw the metal wires, too. A small dirt path winds between
the paddocks where we went along, the horses of course seemingly not
even registering us.

During all this there was this constant noise from a helicopter. First
we thought that it was passing, but after we left all the houses and
big trees behind us we saw it hovering seemingly at one single spot. I
just read in the local news that it was a police chopper overseeing
the Querdenker demonstration. This is the group that protests -
sometimes even violently - against the COVID measures.

It would have been such a lovely stroll, but the unceasing noise from
the helicopter was really annoying.
