Last week while doing some updates on my Windows machine I saw a
message from Docker that something is not right with the WSL
integration. As I fired up the terminal to see after the Ubuntu on WSL
it told me something about a CRC error and did not do anything else...
As there was not really something important on it as those things are
in git and fossil repositories, so I just wiped and reinstalled it. A
quick google session showed that wsl has import and export
capabilities that can be used to create backups of the distros running
in it.
Last year I tried to get wsl on my work laptop, but those damn
policies did not let me. So tomorrow is using Windows day again... At
least I have git bash, python and even node on it.
## Gemini is like Esperanto
I did not give attention to gemini in the last weeks, but even today I
read a phlog post on gopher proposing some changes to the protocol. It
is like Esperanto - all folks want to make it "better".
* OK, then implement your changes -- it's easy.
* Get people to use your new conlang/protocol -- not so easy...
## Sumo calendar
Finally my sumo calendar arrived. Now we can have a look at Hakuho
every day for the remaining days in February...
