Didn't quite make another phost prior to the jump, so I will

Gregorian Calendar New Years!
Last night, I had the opportunity again to spend time with the
family and the out-laws (not the in-laws...extended family.) Fun
times this round with a mix of drunken party people along with
not-drunken folken. For me, I just had my cup o'joe and was happy
being present. Since it was at the out-laws place, there
wasn't much room indoors so the party was brought outside again
under a couple E-Z UP canopies. Good thing the weather
cooperated...then again, it usually does and doesn't snow in
these parts. Lots of food and drink, socializing, party games,
karaoke, bonfire, dancing, illegal fireworks and drunkeness. I had
set up a projector/screen in one of the canopies for karaoke and
the drunks just kept on singing all night long. By the time I got
to bed, it was after 4AM. Phun tymes, fo'real, fo'realz.
Unsure how 2025 will unfold, but I think I got most of my ducks in
a row to keep on keepin' on. I have a feeling that I will be back
in the workforce in the very near future. It has been a gift to be
able to spend the past year+ doing service and volunteer work,
giving of myself for fun and for free. If I could, I'd love to do
it as a main vocation, but unfortunately, my circumstances require
that I earn legal tender
