I have been spending a lot of time in meatspace, not by choice. Too
much going on and I am just trying to survive. At least all of this
is just temporary, just like everything. Even June, almost gone.
Just temporary. | |
Speaking of June, since it is still June, I will try to answer the
5 questions from christyotwisty:
June 2023 Questions: | |
1. Describe the most expensive object you'd like to buy.
I'd like to buy more time, but time won't accept our moniez.
*sad face* Or would I be buying an illusion paid for by another illusion
that most people have agreed to as legal tender?
2. What is something the generation preceding you loves that you don't
understand? | |
The American dream? I'm talking about my parents. They are immigrants.
Maybe that's why I don't understand.
3. What is something the generation succeeding you loves that you don't
understand? | |
Plastic bottle flipping and fidget spinners? Tik tok?
4. what holiday in your calendar needs to be replaced, and with what
other observation or commemoration?
My personal holiday, my birth day, needs to be replaced with my
death day. When I was born, I just passed through a vagina. When
I die, even if it is today, I have done so much more. I tell my
kids to celebrate my life on my death day, not my birth day.
5. what do you think it means to be redeemed? Have you felt redeemed at
one time? Can one be redeemed an iota without the drama of a constructed
fiction narrative? | |
Being redeemed...like redemption...not bottle redemption, maybe
redemption in life? I don't think of life from that perspective,
well, not anymore. I grew up with catholicism and went to church
with my folks before I had any kind of personal understanding or
experience about those kinds of things. Being redeemed or
redemption seems to be part of that or some kind of socially
constructed human thing. Why am I born at a deficit and why
is it wrong for me to ask that question? Why do I have to redeem
myself? | |
Being redeemed seems to be some kind of transactional social term, like
someone is keeping score and has authority to judge. Maybe this is
one of those things I just don't get and why I excel at antisocial
buffoonery. | |
I suppose one can be redeemed an iota without the constructed fiction
narrative. Redeem you for yourself and narrate your own truth.
