From an early age, I was privilaged enough to have access to
an array of computers. My early systems were not the latest
or greatest, but they were mine to tinker and play with.
This exposure went on to fuel a life long passion for a wide
range of topics related to the world of computing.
The majority of my early systems where decommissioned from
my families workplaces. However, it was not long before I
started acquiring hardware from local school disposals and
compter fairs. Usually steering towards new experiences,
while generally gravitating to UNIX (or unix-like) systems
for my primary OS. I also avoided running Windows at home,
as my time spent in my schools computer lab left a bad taste
in my mouth. | |
