Another semester done, and I've graduated! AA in Political
Science and History. Was going to get BA at CSCU, but their
class schedule and my life schedule were not compatable so it's
off to SNHU for my BA in PoliSci. I'm leaning towards a minor
in American Studies, but every now and then the little STEM
devil's advocate voice makes its presence known. So far I've
been pretty successful in telling it to shut the fuck up. Not
that I have anything against STEM, it's just that after
30+ years of working in the industry it's time to do something
else.

Last Saturday was the Patterson, NY Militaria show sponsored by
my friends Brian and Jean of The Duffle Bag. This is mostly a
collectors event in that you won't find much in the way of
militaru surplus gear used by airsoft enthusiasts and
survivalist types. Indeed, it was mostly World War II
collectibles, with a smattering of more recent vintage military
memorabilia. I was in my usual corner spot with a couple tables
of stuff that was excess to needs. I don't sell much as most of
my stuff is either ephemera (military manuals) or post WW2 kit,
but I often do well enough to help cover any purchases I make
at the show, and the traditional after show lunch of calamari
and cheesecake down at the local diner.

Overslept the alarm clock this morning! Woke up a
couple hours past when I wanted to, which made making the NJARC
