One of the standard streams in Unix and Unix-like operating |

systems, as well as certain programming language interfaces. |

These streams are preconnected input and output channels between |
|
a computer process and its environment (typically a text terminal) |
|
when it begins execution. Standard Output is the stream where a |
|
process writes its output data. |
|

The idea for this site started as an attempt to archive various random |

bits of information and thoughts that I was sure I would forget, but |

at some point I started using it to dump links and do other things as |

well, and occasionally even write what might be considered a blog |

post. The name comes from something that Miguel de Icaza once wrote on |
|
Twitter. |
