| ------------------------------ | |
| I bought my lenovo tab3 7 inches in 2017 if I remember correctly. I | |
| got it because I wanted to use it to read e-books. | |
| At that time, and even today, the standard e-readers had 6 inches, so | |
| I thought; the screen is bigger and a tablet is way more | |
| versatile than a plain e-reader, so it is all for the better. | |
| However, maybe due to installing too much shit on it (read games) it | |
| became so slow that it was almost unusable. It was in that state for | |
| maybe a couple of years. Until I decided to revive it by doing a | |
| factory reset. Well, thank God, the reset worked like a charm. | |
| Now I have my tablet back, it is a bit slow but I do not really need | |
| a lot of power for reading. A bit is enough. | |
| Back in the day I used sereral applications for e-books, aldico, | |
| librera, fbreader, and others. They all worked fine, that is the | |
| truth. I also used kindle, which I reinstalled right away. It is the | |
| first app I installed on the tablet. But heed what I say... | |
| One app that I discovered as a consequence of trying so so many was | |
| Google Play Books. It is the one I am using right now and I really | |
| love it. | |
| Will tell you more about it soon. |
