The Bleeding Turnips is an eclectic, Chicago-based music project |

founded in 2023 to feature the bass guitar work and compositions |

of Michael Baker, best known for his work in the Chicago-based |
|
experimental jazz group Undertow. While Undertow's focus is on |
|
experimental jazz, the Bleeding Turnips' focus is on writing and |
|
recording music for a wider audience that features the bass guitar. |
