I'm a firm believer in using plants native to one's own area in the |

garden. I've always thought it shameful when a gardener knows more |
|
about exotic plants than the plants growing naturally in their own |
|
region. To me, a garden should serve as a link to the natural world |
|
around you just as much as it should be a means of growing food or |
|
improving the appearance of your property. |
