Pens, Pencils, Notebooks...JetPens!

My hand writing is shaped by several influences.  Miss Keafer, my 8th
grade science teacher, had us copy pages of notes from the overhead
while she told stories about her "county" ways on the farm. From her
I learned that writing in all capitals was a good balance of speed
and legibility.  And that, if you are in a hurry, a shotgun was a
legitimate tool for opening a rusty fence gate.

From Doris, my first boss, I learned perfect hand writing was
possible.  She also introduced me to the EF Uni-Ball fine point.  The
pen from the cover of the last great Unix manual.

From my mother, I learned that the writer is in the writing.  Let's
just say the first note I got from Santa Claus (my new tool box and
tools were in the basement!) was also my last.

My dad was a notebook guy.  His notebooks were spiral bound and
packed with ballpoint notes, charts, graphs and whatever necessary
for the job at hand.

Pen, paper and pencil can do anything! And that's how you'll feel
visiting the online store, Jet-Pens.com. Jet-Pens not only holds the
craft of writing and drawing in highest regard, they keep it fun.
Selection, price, speed, service, are all outstanding.  Their guides
are best-in-class content; articles, videos, comparison charts.  Get
the newsletter and explore.  It's like going to a pen and paper
playground. Start here and have fun:

Their interviews and guest posts can be very satisfying.  Direct
comparison guides for categories like white ink or lead holders.
Since they carry quality products, some cheap and some fancy, they
seem uncaring whether you buy expensive stuff or not.  They leave
their comment section pretty well open.  Complaints are answered
openly, debates are had for all to see, and occasionally, you get to
see an expert sysop from Jet-Pens deal with an ink troll. The lessons
here are many.  I like it when diligent people take the time to share
what they care about in a clear and useful way.  I really do.  For
all the companies and industries out there that dumb themselves down
thinking they are making meaningful connections with us, take this
lesson: There's nothing wrong with taking something seriously and
having fun with it.

Jet-Pens doesn't have everything or every category, nor would it make
sense to.  But I do wish they carried clipboards.
