Anime:
Good grief am I an anime fan. Just so many to watch that can suit your
tastes. Notable picks are JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, 90s anime in general,
FLAG and Kengan Ashura. I don't watch anime episode-to-episode though,
primarily due to the fact I have other stuff on my plate concerning
getting a dang job.

       Retro hardware:
Back then, tech was made to last, although various factors can
still compromise it. I still have a lot of my old consoles and a few PCs.
An old Compaq, an HP Pavilion (painful as it is to maintain), an iMac G3
of which I think its hard drive is failing, an N64, a Genesis, etc. Trying
to get stuff without a job is a pain.

       Skull and crossbones:
The problem with modern gaming is that company-side preservation
often SUCKS. That means pirates have been unintentionally taking part in
keeping gaming history alive for as long as pirates have existed. I
proudly fly the black flag and purchase from those who have earned my
respect.
