FIVE STANDING STONES IN THE ARCTIC CIRCLE.

for whatever reason, i vividly remember an abnormal amount of detail from all of my dreams. my current theory as to why this happens is mostly because i don't typically fall all the way asleep and am thus lucid dreaming. lucid
dreams tend to be a lot more real feeling for me and i have a much higher level of agency in them than i would otherwise. regardless of the reason, i've noticed some recurrent themes and phrases in my dreams that don't make a whole
lot of sense to me.

A HOUSE BURNT.

most of these phrases seem to be somewhat random. i haven't been able to relate most of them to events in my life or fragments of media i've interacted with. some of them seem outright comedic: a passerby speaking in a tone that
sounds as though they are reminding themself, repeatedly saying "the VR game about climbing El Capitan". others dawn a more sinister tone. currently i have a list of all of the most common phrases in the notes app on my
phone. i have them written
down in a notebook as well.

RECIPROCITY FAILURE.

i do have a few friends that i semi-frequently talk to (mind you that is a very small group of people). almost every time i get adequately close to anybody new i tell them about these phrases and ask for their interpretations. at
one point i got lucky enough to meet a linguist. one of the most perplexing recurrent phrases comprises of two languages, latin in the former half and french in the latter. she told me the literal translation is "long live law,
reject me" but there was plenty of room for interpretation.

VIVA LICIT, REJETTE MOI.

when i gather more info on each of these phrases i will update this directory with my findings. it's truly a wonder what the brain can conjure up whilst one is asleep.

have a lovely day! -viv
