I am extremely slow. I can't believe how slow I am.

I have these projects that I actually like doing and just have to
get over the hump of starting them, but it really takes weeks for
me to find the right day for a project like that.

If I have a day of socialisation, I will not be able to do any
of these projects that involve calming down and educating myself
on some little thing. This blockage might last a few days. It
takes me so long to get back to my normal relaxed state of being.

If I have a free weekend, I might use it randomly cleaning up the
apartment, doing laundry, playing some game, writing, etc. And I
never get to the project I wanted to get to.

It is amazing to me that I seem to have learned a lot more skills
than the regular folks, considering how much time I waste and how
hard it is to get to the productive zone with things I enjoy.

Is it that getting to the productive zone is always an uphill
battle in anything that is new to a person? Maybe the reason the
folks look so fast to me is because they are only doing what they
already know? Is it that they never get to the relaxed mode from
where these projects can be attacked?
