It seems that Amazon has gotten rid of the list of results and
has only a few results side by side. Or maybe they hid the list
somewhere.

So first they had a business based on the best commenting and
rating system combined with fast shipping. Then they started
making their own products and gamed the ratings. Now they have
removed most of the search results to hide a large amount of
products. They have effectively nullified the thing that made
them better than their competitors, but now they are so big,
it doesn't matter.

It's called bait and switch. The surprising thing is that these
companies are using their own brand as the bait. You would think,
based on the old market logic, that the brand is the most
important asset for a company. But no, see what Facebook did,
they fucked up their brand completely and they just get another
one and everyone is talking about how Meta is the future.
