If we say that social media is not a media at all but a virtual
reality, some things start to make more sense. Like the
over-dependence on who is right and wrong and who said what and
which words are in fashion this season.
In ye old reality words were more a communication tool but in
the virtual reality words are the building blocks of your
surroundings. You don't want the other side building their castle
on your turf. These people are fighting for territory and I bet
the loudest ones are the least connected to the legacy reality.
It's terraforming,
It's conquest,
It's a version of NIMBY in ideascape.
