Today I (and my family) are going home, back to Australia. For holidays, but I'd be lying if I said I haven't been mentally preparing to evacuate my wife and kids should the orange menace follow through on his threats to annex Canada. This time it's for a good reason! My brother is getting married! Unfortunately it's only a short trip. Two weekd isn't long enough but at least this time it's a (southern) summer holiday. And the weather isn't super hot right now.
In other news I have been studying for the Canadian amateur radio licence exam. I haven't talked to any of the local hams yet, but I will get to that after we return.
Well time to head off. I really love flying but I hate travelling by air. Oh well. Maybe next time we'll take the train on the land bits.
