I know I've written about these guys before. It's an SEO
company that a client of mine insists upon using. They've
been at it for a year, with nothing but pain and
destruction.
Nevermind the fact that my client has been selling online
very successfully for more than 10 years, and didn't need
this SEO company's nonsense one bit. Their organic coverage
*before this SEO company came in and screwed it* was through
the roof. They were competing with companies 10x their size,
soundly.
I hate dealing with this SEO company, and today I realized
why: they're bullies. They've bullied my client around, and
they attempt to bully me as well, which fails gloriously. I
hate bullies. I may have put up with them as a kid, but
these days I'm inclined to tear them to shreds.
Today they threatened to shut off my client's Google Ads if
we didn't re-enable an abusive script that they forced us
into (which was side-loading javascript to modify my
client's site without permission.) That blew up in their
face.
I wish my client would let them go, but they seem inclined
to return to their abusive friends for one more black eye. I
don't understand it. I need to go and study the psychology
of the abused, I think.
My hope is that they'll dump these clowns in the next month.
They've had a year to prove themselves, and they failed...
it's time to let them go, and attempt to pick up the pieces.
